Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is one of the most prevalent health problems in society and is characterized as a challenge for public health in the 21st century, as it is a chronic, multifactorial and systemic disease. The high prevalence of DM as well as its complications points to the urgency of investment in prevention, control and longitudinal care, in addition to a series of timely and effective actions by health professionals. However, in addition to the care provided by health professionals, it is necessary to discuss other practices that tend to improve patients' quality of life, such as self-care. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the importance of self-care in patients with Diabetes Mellitus. 14 scientific articles published between 2013 and 2022 were selected, 3 in a foreign language (English) and 8 national. The USP School of Nursing Magazine and the Reference Nursing Magazine contributed most to the sample, with two articles published in each. It was therefore evident that to prevent diabetes-related morbidity and mortality, there is an immense need for dedicated self-care behaviors in multiple domains, including food choices, physical activity, adequate medication intake and monitoring of patients' blood glucose.O Diabetes Mellitus (DM) é um dos problemas de saúde mais prevalentes na sociedade e caracteriza-se como um desafio para a saúde público no século XXI, por se tratar de uma doença crônica, multifatorial e sistêmica.

This investigation proposes by the means of the criticism of the evidences that are located in the center of the process of "mediatización" of the violence of the armed Colombian conflict to drift apart from the approaches that privilege the political dimension of the phenomenon and to check the violent event from the sketch, (croquis) of his imaginary perception, that is to say from three recognizable dimensions, near to the daily violence : dark violence, degraded violence, violence changes. Departing from the recognition of the critical and creative potentiality of the notion of imaginary socially and of admitting that it is possible to find in the fissures of the representation of "mediática" of the Colombian violence, an alternative vision. Proposing likewise, to tackle the Colombian violence from the intensive observation of a productive material for his nature and for his particular way of expressing the phenomenon, from a specific genre : the television fiction and in certain epoch : the decade of the nineties. The corpus of the investigation is composed by the series of fiction representative of the three stages in which the decade is segmented : "When I want to cry I don't cry" (1989-1992), "The scorpion's alternative" (1992-1996) and "The Fiscal" (1997-1999). This material complements with the observation of two corpus annexes that emphasize the subjective dimensions of the violence 1) the review of the ninety's events looked from the covers of the magazine "Week" and 2) the simultaneous reading and in parallel of the interpretations on the political violence (published throughout the decade) that they realize of the actors, the strategies and the speeches of the armed Colombian conflict.ST DENIS-BU PARIS8 (930662101) / SudocSudocFranceF
