Effects of Internal Factors on Financial Performance of Listed Construction-Material Companies: The Case of Vietnam
The research aims to assess internal factors affecting to financial performance so that feasible suggestions could be provided for construction-material firms which are currently listing in the stock market of Vietnam. The authors applied regression for panel data which collected from 30 listed construction-material firms. The findings show that firms’ financial performance are positively affected by the firms’ size, capital structure, capitalization expenditure, and accounts receivable management. The research results also reflect positive relation between firms’ financial performance and business risk. Upon the research results we recommend that the changes should be focus on improving policies about capitalization expenditure; reasonable capital structure and management of inventories. Abietane diterpenoids and neolignans from the roots of Pinus kesiya
The phytochemical investigation of the ethyl acetate extract of Pinus kesiya Royle ex Gordon roots led to the isolation of two abietane diterpenes, 7-oxo-15-hydroxy-dehydroabietic acid (1) and dehydroabietic acid (2) as well as two neolignans, cedrusin (3) and cedrusin-4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (4). Their structures were determined by combination of spectral analysis and comparison with reported data. Among them, compound 1 was isolated from the genus Pinus for the first time. Keywords. Pinus kesiya, abietane diterpenes, neolignans, dehydroabietic acid, cedrusin
EfficientRec an unlimited user-item scale recommendation system based on clustering and users interaction embedding profile
Recommendation systems are highly interested in technology companies
nowadays. The businesses are constantly growing users and products, causing the
number of users and items to continuously increase over time, to very large
numbers. Traditional recommendation algorithms with complexity dependent on the
number of users and items make them difficult to adapt to the industrial
environment. In this paper, we introduce a new method applying graph neural
networks with a contrastive learning framework in extracting user preferences.
We incorporate a soft clustering architecture that significantly reduces the
computational cost of the inference process. Experiments show that the model is
able to learn user preferences with low computational cost in both training and
prediction phases. At the same time, the model gives a very good accuracy. We
call this architecture EfficientRec with the implication of model compactness
and the ability to scale to unlimited users and products.Comment: Published in 14th Asian Conference on Intelligent Information and

The Impact of Digital Transformation on Customer Satisfaction to Digital Banking Service of Commercial Banks in Vietnam
The present study focuses on examining the interplay and correlation between the digital transformation process as assessed by the digital banking service quality components (Ease of use, Effectiveness, Interoperability, Privacy/ Security, Empathy, Responsiveness, Reliability, Service portfolios, Service charge) and customer satisfaction for digital banking services at commercial banks in Vietnam. The predictors (independent variables) for this study are the aforementioned service quality aspects and moderator is Service charge. The outcome variable (dependent variable) is customer satisfaction. The authors combined qualitative and quantitative research techniques to develop observed variables and assess the model's fit. This study can help banking leaders evaluate and improve the quality of digital banking services in the context of financial liberalization and globalization. Diterpenoids from Fokienia hodginsii.
In continuous research on the chemical constituents of the twigs and leaves of Fokienia hodginsii (Dunn) A. Henry et Thomas growing in Highland, Lam Dong province 4 diterpenoids, including 3-oxo-totarol (totarolone, 1), 3β-hydroxytotarol (2), 15-nor-labda-8(17),12E-diene-14-carboxaldehyde-19-oic acid (3) and 13-oxo-15,16-dinorlabda-8(17),11E-diene-19-oic acid (4) were isolated. Their structures were elucidated by the spectroscopic methods and comparison with reported data. This is the first report on the isolation of compounds 1, 2 and 3 from this plant. Keywords. Fokienia hodginsii; totarane; nor-labdane diterpenoid
Chemical constituents of Chirita drakei Burtt collected in Ha Long bay, Quang Ninh province, Viet Nam. Part 1. Compounds isolated from the n-hexane and ethyl acetate extracts.
Two triterpenes, an anthraquinone, two lignans and a phenolic compound were isolated from the n-hexane and ethyl acetate extracts of the aerial part of Chirita drakei Burtt collected in islands, on mountain slopes of Ha Long bay, Quang Ninh province. Their structures have been elucidated by mass, NMR spectroscopy and comparison with published data. There are no report on the chemical constituents of Chirita drakei before our study. Keywords. Chirita drakei, triterpene, anthraquinone, lignin
