Isospin effect on nuclear stopping in intermediate energy Heavy Ion Collisions
By using the Isospin Dependent Quantum Molecular Dynamics Model (IQMD), we
study the dependence of nuclear stopping Q_{ZZ}/A and R in intermediate energy
heavy ion collisions on system size, initial N/Z, isospin symmetry potential
and the medium correction of two-body cross sections. We find the effect of
initial N/Z ratio, isospin symmetry potential on stopping is weak. The
excitation function of Q_{ZZ}/A and R depends on the form of medium correction
of two-body cross sections, the equation of state of nuclear matter (EOS). Our
results show the behavior of the excitation function of Q_{ZZ}/A and R can
provide clearer information of the isospin dependence of the medium correction
of two-body cross sections.Comment: 3 pages including 4 figure
Superconducting state in the non-centrosymmetric Mg_{9.3}Ir_{19}B_{16.7} and Mg_{10.5}Ir_{19}B_{17.1} revealed by NMR
We report ^{11}B NMR measurements in non-centrosymmetric superconductors
Mg_{9.3}Ir_{19}B_{16.7} (T_c=5.8 K) and Mg_{10.5}Ir_{19}B_{17.1} (T_c=4.8 K).
The spin lattice relaxation rate and the Knight shift indicate that the Cooper
pairs are predominantly in the spin-singlet state with an isotropic gap.
However, Mg_{10.5}Ir_{19}B_{17.1} is found to have more defects and the spin
susceptibility remains finite even in the zero-temperature limit. We interpret
this result as that the defects enhance the spin-orbit coupling and bring about
more spin-triplet component.Comment: for a proper, high-resolution Fig.5, contact the corresponding autho
Programmable Topology Derivation and Analysis of Integrated Three-Port DC-DC Converters with Reduced Switches for Low-Cost Applications
© 1982-2012 IEEE. Thanks to the favorable advantage of low cost, integrated three-port dc-dc converters with reduced switches have attracted extensive attention. In order to provide more new topologies, this paper aims to propose a programmable topology derivation method, which effectively simplifies the cumbersome process of the conventional combination method. Instead of the manual connection and examination, the proposed alternative can quickly and rigorously derive multiple viable integrated three-port dc-dc topologies from a great number of possible connections with the aid of computer program. Besides, generalized analysis is also accomplished, with which performance characteristics of all derived converters are simultaneously obtained and then a comprehensive comparison can be easily conducted to select a preferred one for the practical application. Finally, an example-specific application with one input and two outputs is given, with topology selection, design, and experimental results demonstrated in detail
Rotational Symmetry of Classical Orbits, Arbitrary Quantization of Angular Momentum and the Role of Gauge Field in Two-Dimensional Space
We study the quantum-classical correspondence in terms of coherent wave
functions of a charged particle in two-dimensional central-scalar-potentials as
well as the gauge field of a magnetic flux in the sense that the probability
clouds of wave functions are well localized on classical orbits. For both
closed and open classical orbits, the non-integer angular-momentum quantization
with the level-space of angular momentum being greater or less than is
determined uniquely by the same rotational symmetry of classical orbits and
probability clouds of coherent wave functions, which is not necessarily
-periodic. The gauge potential of a magnetic flux impenetrable to the
particle cannot change the quantization rule but is able to shift the spectrum
of canonical angular momentum by a flux-dependent value, which results in a
common topological phase for all wave functions in the given model. The quantum
mechanical model of anyon proposed by Wilczek (Phys. Rev. Lette. 48, 1144)
becomes a special case of the arbitrary-quantization.Comment: 6 pages, 5 figure
Exact Analysis of Scaling and Dominant Attractors Beyond the Exponential Potential
By considering the potential parameter as a function of another
potential parameter [47], We successfully extend the analysis of
two-dimensional autonomous dynamical system of quintessence scalar field model
to the analysis of three-dimension, which makes us be able to research the
critical points of a large number of potentials beyond the exponential
potential exactly. We find that there are ten critical points in all, three
points } are general points which are possessed by all
quintessence models regardless of the form of potentials and the rest points
are closely connected to the concrete potentials. It is quite surprising that,
apart from the exponential potential, there are a large number of potentials
which can give the scaling solution when the function
equals zero for one or some values of
and if the parameter also satisfies the condition
Eq.(16) or Eq.(17) at the same time. We give the differential equations to
derive these potentials from . We also find that, if some
conditions are satisfied, the de-Sitter-like dominant point and the
scaling solution point (or ) can be stable simultaneously but
and can not be stable simultaneity. Although we survey scaling
solutions beyond the exponential potential for ordinary quintessence models in
standard general relativity, this method can be applied to other extensively
scaling solution models studied in literature[46] including coupled
quintessence, (coupled-)phantom scalar field, k-essence and even beyond the
general relativity case . we also discuss the disadvantage
of our approach.Comment: 16 pages,no figure, this new revision has taken the suggestions from
