Motivasi Rusia Menerapkan Kebijakan Customs Union Terhadap Ekspor Ikan Dari Indonesia Tahun 2013

This study is a qualitative research which describes Russia motivation applying temporary restriction of fish products exported from Indonesia to Russia dealing with Customs Union policy on July 1, 2013. The restriction applied was based on the result of joint inspection done by Customs Union and Rosselkhoznadzor Russia to some fish companies in Indonesia which found that the companies did not meet the requirements and standard of Customs Union and Rosselkhoznadzor. From the result of the inspection it was found that some problems on fish productions process and lack of certification and documents.Finally, after more than one year of hard effort an negotiation done with Russia authority, the restriction can be released on September 17, 2014. The most important thing for Customs Union and Rosselkhoznadzor is that for Indonesian fish companies to do some improvements and meet the requirements and standard of export agreed by the two parties, such as healthy and safety control and documents.The data were collected from many sources like books, journals, and websites that can support this research. In this research, the researcher uses merkantilism perspective to describe the Russia motivation on temporary restriction of fish products exported from Indonesia

Analisis Kualitas TSP dan Pb dalam Ruang pada Perparkiran Basement dan Upper Ground (Studi Kasus Mall X Semarang)

Lokasi penelitian ini yaitu berada di areal perparkiran Mall X Semarang, serta dibagi menjadi dua yaitu berada di pintu keluar (ticketing) dan lobby pada basement dan pintu masuk (ticketing) dan kantor management office di lantai 4. Dalam penelitian pemantauan kualitas udara dalam ruang dengan studi kasus Mall X Semarang ini tujuan yang ingin dianalisa ialah kualitas udara dalam ruang yang mencakup parameter debu (TSP) dan timbal (Pb), serta menganalisa dampak paparan kedua parameter tersebut terhadap petugas parkir dan petugas keamanan yang memiliki wilayah kerja di sekitar areal parkir mall tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam skala lapangan dengan parameter yang diuji meliputi pengukuran konsentrasi debu atau TSP serta kadar timbal yang terkandung didalamnya , temperatur, kelembaban, kecepatan angin, jumlah kendaraan, jumlah pengunjung, serta sistem ventilasi yang digunakan di areal parkir basement dan areal parkir upper ground. Dimana hasil yang di dapat akan dibandingkan dua titik sampling di masing - masing lantainya selama 24 jam selama 8 (delapan) hari dalam kurun waktu dua minggu. Pemilihan hari sampling dilakukan dengan melihat kecenderungan hari – hari sibuk dengan menggunakan software SPSS 16.0 dan didapatkan hasil yaitu 2 hari pada weekdays hari Senin dan Selasa dan 2 hari weekend pada hari Sabtu dan Minggu. Analisis dan Perancangan Group Decision Support System (GDSS) Berbasis Web pada Diskusi Partisipatif Yonmenkaigi System Method (YSM)

Seiring perkembangan teknologi, proses pengambilan keputusan mulai didukung oleh sistem yang terkomputerisasi dan biasanya disebut Decison Support Systems (DSS) kemudian terus berkembang menjadi Group Decision Support System berbasis web. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan identifikasi dan analisis kelayakan diskusi partisipatif Yonmenkaigi System Method (YSM) dikolaborasikan dengan Group Decision Support System (GDSS) berbasis web, serta menghasilkan logical dan physical design usulan Group Decision Support System (GDSS) pada diskusi partisipatif Yonmenkaigi System Method berbasis web. Metode analisis dan perancangan sistem merujuk pada metode pengembangan Decision Support System (DSS) oleh Turban dan Aronson. Hasil penelitian ini adalah usulan perancangan sistem yang disebut Web-Based Group Decision Support System for Yonmenkaigi System Method (WGDSS-YSM) guna mendukung diskusi partisipatif yang terdiri dari logical dan physical design. Logical design yang dihasilkan meluputi three-tier architecture system dan model sistem yang didesain menggunakan Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2.3, entity relationship diagram (ERD), dan model base yang digunakan sebagai toolkit diskusi WGDSS-YSM. Hasil usulan terakhir adalah physical design yang meliputi physical database, struktur navigasi sistem secara keseluruhan, dan rancangan sketsa layar sistem

The Influence of Peer Correction in Students’ Descriptive Text Writing at SMKN 2 Metro

 Abstract The objective of this research is to found out whether Peer Correction can give positive influence in students’ descriptive text writing. This quantitative research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Metro. The research took place in class XAC-1 which consists of 26 students. The instruments used to gather the data were writing test (pre test and post test). The writer conducted pre test before treatments and post test after the treatment.The result of the research shows that the average of the pre test was 57.50. The students have limited vocabulary, they were not able to make simple present tense perfectly, and several students were not able to make a sentence understandable. After the treatment, the average score of the post test was 83.26. By analyzing the average score of pre test and post test, it was found that the increase was 25.76.Based on the finding above, it can be concluded that peer correction can give positive influence in students’ descriptive writing. It can be seen from the average scores of pre-test 57.50 and post test 83.26

The Impact of Problem-Solving Model on Students' Concept Mastery and Motivation in Learning Heat Based on Gender

This study investigated the impact of the problem-solving model on students' concept mastery and motivation in learning heat based on gender. The method which was used in this research was quasi-experiment with pretest-posttest design in girls and boys class. Data are collected from girl class (N=16) and boys class (N=16) of a 7th grade in one of a Bilingual Boarding School in Bandung. The quantitative data of this research was obtained through the objective test, while the qualitative data was gained through a questionnaire. Students' motivation is measured by Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction (ARCS) Model. On the other hand, students' concept mastery is measured based on Bloom's taxonomy cognitive level through the objective test and being analyzed by using statistical software Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 20.0 for Windows 8. The results show that overall concept mastery of girls and boys students have improved. However, girls students are higher achiever than boys. Overall, the problem-solving model makes an improvement in students' concept mastery in both girls and boys. Thus, it indicates that the implementation of the problem-solving model in learning heat can improve students' motivation and students' conceptual understanding in secondary level

Analysis of ethylene biosynthesis gene expression profile during titanium dioxide (TiO2) treatment to develop a new banana postharvest technology

Banana is an important crop that demands proper methods in postharvest handling. As a climacteric fruit, thebanana fruit ripening process is affected by ethylene. Several methods have been developed to extend the shelf life of a banana, such as using ethylene scrubbers. In this study, ttanium dioxide (TiO2), a photocatalyst, was used as an alternatve method to delay the fruit ripening process. The effect of TiO2 on the ripening‐related gene MaACS1 was investgated. Banana fruits were placed in a TiO2‐coated glass chamber and observed for ten days. Fruit ripening in the treated chamber was delayed for eight days compared to the control. Total RNA was extracted from control and TiO2‐treated fruit pulp and synthesized into cDNA. Reverse transcripton PCR was performed to investgate the gene expression, which showed that MaACS1 expression was relatvely lower than treated control. The fnding of these studies suggested that the TiO2 chamber has the potental to extend the shelf life of banana by delaying its ripening process and decreasing the expression of MaACS1. To the best of our knowledge, no previous study has investgated the effect of TiO2 on the expression of genes related to banana fruit ripening
