Simulation of the Ontogeny of Social Jet Lag: A Shift in Just One of the Parameters of a Model of Sleep-Wake Regulating Process Accounts for the Delay of Sleep Phase Across Adolescence

The term “social jet lag” was introduced for defining the conflict between social and biological clocks due to the general practice of shifting weekday risetime on early morning hours. The phase delay of the sleep-wake cycle during adolescence is one of the most remarkable features of the ontogenesis of sleep that is incompatible with early school start times. It was previously proposed that the process of accumulation of sleep pressure during wakefulness is slowing down in post-pubertal teens to allow them to stay awake for a longer period of time thus causing the delay of their bedtime. In order to examine this proposition, we traced the ontogeny of social jet lag using sleep times reported for 160 samples of study participants of different ages as an input to a model of sleep-wake regulatory process. The simulations suggested that a gradual change in just one of the model’s parameters, the time constant of wakefulness phase of the sleep-wake regulatory process, might explain the association of the transition between childhood and adulthood with the prolongation of time staying awake, delay of sleep time, and reduction of sleep duration. We concluded that the implication of the sleep-wake regulating model would be of help for understanding precisely how social jet lag varies with age and what are the chronophysiological causes of this variation

Problems of forming available areas in hotels for physically challenged tourists in Yekaterinburg

This article is about intermediate results of the research of infrastructure of some hotels in Yekaterinburg. It was done by the students from the college of trade and economics prepared it with chairman of the Sverdlovsk regional social movement of disabled «Available environment for everyone» Olga Nebesnaya in 2016. The purpose of this research was is the detection of availability of public places and the hotel room capacity for physically challenged peoplecs accommodation. The object of research was the hotels with rooms for disabled people. Foe this research was developed evaluation toolkit. It was developed with the regulations and need of person with disabilities. As conclusion to the research, we recommend the hotels: - to comply with the requirements of normative documents, to ensure the needs of persons with disabilities of various categories; - safety precautions are required when servicing disabled people; - to endeavor to adopt the principles of universal design; - staff training to disability service. After inspection of hotels, recommendations for the adaption of material base and improving the staff for better disability service. The research will be continued in 2017.

The article analyses the directionsʼ specifics of human resources managementʼs in the Defence Industry Complex in the diversification of defence enterprises. The purpose of the study is to improve the management quality of the development, implementation and evaluation of diversification programmes based on the improvement of methods and mechanisms for managing the human resources of enterprises in the digital transformation of business models of organisations of the country’s Defence Industry Complex. The methodological basis of the research paper is the analysis of theoretical materials and practical developments in the field of organisational and methodological support for the development and implementation of diversification programmes abroad and in the Russian Federation, and a generalisation of their results. The authors proposed the directions of adaptation and updating of the organisational and methodological support of the diversification process through the use of digital technologies, which are aimed at evaluating the training and retraining of personnel, at assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of management personnel that ensure the implementation of these programmes, to reduce the time required for the implementation of the diversification programmes themselves. The results of the study can be useful for implementation in the practice of developing diversification programmes, for creating systems for monitoring and controlling the implementation of program activities, for evaluating the intermediate and final results of its implementation, and for building contractual relations between defence industry complex enterprises

Subject of research. The research goal and scope are development of methods and software for mathematical and computer modeling of the regional security information support systems as multilevel hierarchical systems. Such systems are characterized by loosely formalization, multiple-aspect of descendent system processes and their interconnectivity, high level dynamics and uncertainty. The research methodology is based on functional-target approach and principles of multilevel hierarchical system theory. The work considers analysis and structural-algorithmic synthesis problem-solving of the multilevel computer-aided systems intended for management and decision-making information support in the field of regional security. Main results. A hierarchical control multilevel model of regional socio-economic system complex security has been developed. The model is based on functional-target approach and provides both formal statement and solving, and practical implementation of the automated information system structure and control algorithms synthesis problems of regional security management optimal in terms of specified criteria. An approach for intralevel and interlevel coordination problem-solving in the multilevel hierarchical systems has been proposed on the basis of model application. The coordination is provided at the expense of interconnection requirements satisfaction between the functioning quality indexes (objective functions), which are optimized by the different elements of multilevel systems. That gives the possibility for sufficient coherence reaching of the local decisions, being made on the different control levels, under decentralized decision-making and external environment high dynamics. Recurrent model application provides security control mathematical models formation of regional socioeconomic systems, functioning under uncertainty. Practical relevance. The model implementation makes it possible to automate synthesis realization of the software executive environment for decision-making information and analytical support in the field of regional security. The model can find further application within mathematical and computer modeling methodology development of the multilevel hierarchical systems for security control of complex systems
