Urgensi Komunikasi Cerdas Pustakawan dalam Mensukseskan Kelas Literasi Informasi

Perkembangan teknologi informasi melatarbelakangi lahirnya koleksi digital di perpustakaan baik dari pembelian, hadiah, local content, maupun hasil kerjasama. Transfer pengetahuan ini dapat berpengaruh terhadap sebuah keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya pengetahuan. Sebuah paket pekerjaan bagi pustakawan masa kini adalah kemampuan untuk mengkomunikasikan ulang informasi yang ia miliki. Distribusi informasi inilah yang menjadi ujung tombak dari keterpakaian koleksi di sebuah perpustakaan. Aplikasi dari kegiatan ini adanya kelas literasi informasi yang dipelopori oleh pustakawan. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini dipengaruhi oleh: penguasaan materi, fokus terhadap peserta, relaks dan menguasai diri, persiapan dan latihan. Manfaat adanya komunikasi cerdas dalam kelas literasi informasi: perubahan sikap dan perilaku peserta dalam menggunakan dan memanfaatkan informasi, meningkatnya reputasi pustakawan, dan mitra kolaboratif dalam meningkatnya mutu lembaga khususnya di bidang referensi. Information is growing rapidly in this era of globalization, it’s requires a human to select and sort information clever as needed. One source of reliable information is the archive. Archives is a record of the existence of an institution's collective memory. Archives neat would be evidence of his achievements. Through archival institution's performance can be seen from time to time, whether the institution forward, the way place or even deterioration. College education to be one who carry out the mandate Tridharma college, namely education and teaching, research and community service. For the realization of the task performed by the college, the necessary resources complete, precise, accurate in storage. Therefore, the information becomes a critical part of the college community. In other words, any college can not be separated and are always associated with the archive. Both records are still in use or records that are not used, but still has to fixed values. University as an institution is in need of a large archives support is well managed so that the smoothness of activities can be created. This will affect the effectiveness and efficiency and increase productivity for the agency. While archival institutions are institutions established to preserve archival materials generated and received by the body corporate or person. Task of college archives is storing, processing, treating up to save / preserve valuable archives in order, good academic records, research, and other records that are not misused by irresponsible parties for personal gain. Every parent wants the baby born alive , healthy and perfect. In fact many cases of fetal growth retardation, infants born prematurely , babies born with low birth weight , even high rates of maternal and infant mortality during childbirth . It takes a commitment to live healthy life as early as possible forgo that will interfere with the smooth pregnancy . That's why pregnant mother are encouraged to live healthy . From here it takes a lot of information to support it . Disclosure of the information age as it is herded everyone to easily get the information that is expected . Likewise with pregnant women . Not all information received with raw. There needs to crosscheck from a competent source in the field. So informations can be accounted for . With the concept of healthy pregnancy, the mother can have a guide and overview of the things that will affect the fetus in the womb in daily life. Pelatihan Literasi Informasi Berbasis Web: Sarana Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi Menyebarluaskan Koleksi

Kemajuan teknologi informasi menghadirkan peluang bagi perpustakaan untuk berkembang, termasuk didalamnya mengenai jenis koleksinya. Koleksi digital hadir sebagai penyelaras dari koleksi cetak yang sudah ada sebelumnya. Melimpahnya sumberdaya digital di perpustakaan, baik dari pembelian, local content, maupun hasil kerjasama dapat termanfaatkan secara maksimal jika adanya pengetahuan. Proses mentransfer pengetahuan tersebut akan berimbas terhadap sebuah keterampilan dalam memanfaatkan sumber daya pengetahuan. Pelatihan literasi informasi berbasis web adalah aplikasi nyata di perguruan tinggi. Bagaimana mentransfer pengetahuan untuk membumikan dan mendayagunakan ribuan koleksi digital yang sudah terhimpun ke dalam koleksi perpustakaan. Pelatihan literasi informasi berbasis web ini relevan dengan karakteristik pemustaka era sekarang yang masuk dalam katagori digital native. Cara belajar generasi ini terbiasa dengan serba cepat dan praktis. Generasi ini sangat familiar dengan kecanggihan teknologi. Tugas pustakawan dalam kegiatan pelatihan ini adalah mengarahkan kepada pemustaka agar menjadi sivitas akademika yang cerdas dalam memilih, memilah serta memanfaatkan banjirnya sumber informasi di internet. Keberhasilan kegiatan ini didukung oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya: kebijakan dari stakeholders, kesiapan pustakawan, dukungan TI, promosi. Evaluasi Usability Portal Unggah Mandiri Perpustakaan Universitas Ahmad Dahlan (Studi Kasus Mahasiswa Prodi PGSD)

Koleksi Tugas Akhir yang bersifat unpublished, limited dengan adanya perkembangan Teknologi Informasi menjadi published dan open access. Koleksi yang bersifat unik ini akan lebih bermanfaat jika dari perpustakaan berinovasi menggeser pengumpulan Tugas Akhir tercetak menjadi unggah mandiri Tugas Akhir. Evaluasi terhadap portal unggah mandiri digunakan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kegunaan (usability) bagi pemustaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk mengetahui masing-masing karakteristik indikator penelitian. Dari 5 indikator yakni learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors dan saticfation dipecah menjadi 13 butir kuesioner yang disebarkan ke sampling. Adapun sampling yang dimaksud adalah mahasiswa yang telah melalui proses unggah mandiri Prodi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar periode Mei-Juli 2017 sehingga teknik pengambilan sampling dengan cara purposive sampling. Dari 13 kuesioner tersebut dinyatakan bahwa data penelitan valid dan reliabel. Sedangkan untuk mendekripsikan indikator dengan rumus grand mean yang diperoleh perhitungan bahwa indikator learnability, efficiency, memorability masuk kategori baik dengan nilai 2.89; 3.12; 2.81. sedangkan untuk indikator errors dan satisfaction mempunyai nilai yang tidak baik dengan ditunjukkan angka sebesar 2.16; 2.23. Kedua indikator itu digunakan penulis untuk mengevaluasi kebergunaan dan pengembangan portal unggah mandiri. Currently, promotion in the library is irrelevant if it is only done through conventional media. The thousands of books in the library will be maximized if the librarian adjusts the promotional media to the current characteristics of the users. The characteristics of the net generation that are attached to devices can be used by librarians to develop promotional media on the social media that the majority of them use. This article is conceptual about book promotion packaging through booktube. Booktube is a book review video uploaded on YouTube. This phenomenon can be adopted by librarians to promote interesting books owned by libraries in the hope that the benefits of books and libraries will increase. This promotional concept can help users determine the books they need. Efforts can be made to effectively promote the book promotion through booktube including written policies, teamwork selection, and presenters. Even so, there are challenges that librarians want to prepare for when implementing the concept of book promotion through booktube, namely public speaking and video editing skills. Upaya Deteksi Penyakit Degeneratif untuk Meningkatkan Kesehatan Masyarakat pada Warga RT 03, RW 01 Kelurahan Candirejo, Ungaran Barat, Kabupaten Semarang

Degenerative disease is a health condition that deteriorate tissues or organs over time. Degenerative disease can be classified into three groups, namely cardiovascular, neoplastic, and nervous system.. WHO stated that degenerative disease is the most common cause of death in the world that has become a global epidemic, especially in countries with medium and small income. The residents of RT 03 RW 01 Candirejo Sub-district have the potential to suffer degenerative disease caused by unhealthy lifestyle. This service activity was aimed to help the residents receive proper information about degenerative disease and detect its indicators by checking blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid that can be used as a reference for their health status. The approach method is by giving health education about various degenerative diseases and its prevention, as well as medical examination. From the results after conducting service activity on the residents, most of the residents’ knowledge about degenerative disease and its prevention by improving healthy lifestyle are at value 33.3% for very good understanding, 47.6% good understanding, and 19.1% sufficient understanding. Additionally, the results of medical examination shows that 15 people have increased blood pressure from minor to medium, 5 people have increased blood sugar above normal, 5 people have increased cholesterol above normal, and 3 people have increased uric acid.From the results above, , the residents knowledge and understanding of degenerative diseases have increased. Furthermore, from the medical examination results, there are some residents who have increased their blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and uric acid above normal.ABSTRAKPenyakit degenerative adalah kondisi kesehatan yang menyebabkan jaringan atau organ tubuh memburuk dari waktu kewaktu. Penyakit degenerative diklasifikasikan menjadi tiga kelompok yaitu kardiovaskular, neoplastic, dan system saraf. WHO menyatakan penyakit degenerative merupakan penyakit penyebab kematian terbesar didunia yang telah menjadi epidemic global terutama dinegara dengan tingkat pendapatan sedang dan kecil. Warga masyarakat RT 03 RW 01 kelurahan candirejo termasuk warga masyarakat yang mempunyai potensi mengalami penyakit degenerative yang diakibatkan oleh faktor resiko gaya hidup tidak sehat. Tujuan dilakukan kegiatan pengabdian ini agar para warga mendapatkan informasi yang benar tentang penyakit degenerative dan deteksi terhadap indicator terjadinya penyakit degenerative pada warga melalui pemeriksaan tekanan darah, gula darah, kolesterol dan asam urat yang dapat digunakan sebagai acuan untuk melakukan pemeliharaan terhadap status kesehatanya Metode pendekatan yang dilakukan yaitu memberikan pendidikan kesehatan tentang macam penyakit degenerative dan upaya pencegahannya serta melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan Hasil dari pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah dilakukan didapatkanhasil sebagian besar warga pemahamnanya baik tentang penyakit degenerative dan upaya pencegahanya dengan memperbaiki pola hidup sehat sebesar 33.3 % pemahamnan sangat baik, 47,6 % pemahamannya baik, serta 19.1 % pemahamannya cukup. Sedangkan hasil pemeriksaan kesehatan pada warga didapatkan hasil ada 15 warga mengalami peningkatan tekanan darah dari ringan sampai sedang, 5 warga gula darah meningkat diatas normal, 5 warga kolesterol meningkat diatas normal, dan 3 warga mengalami peingkatan asam urat. Kesimpulan pengabdian kepada masyarakat terjadi peningkatan pemahaman dan pengetahuannya tentang penyakit degenerative dan upaya pencegahanya, serta terdapat beberapa warga yang hasil pemeriksaan terhadap tekanan darah, gula darah, kolesterol dan asam urat mengalami peningkatan diatas normal
