The purpose of the article is to present the peculiarity of training and teaching the subject "Methodology of modern scientific researches with the basics of intellectual property in training designers" according to the educational program "Design (by types)" for the second (Master's) degree of higher education in Kyiv National University of Technology and Design. The Article defines the structure of educational subject, general competence of the subject and its place in the structural and logical scheme of training specialists; provides for the detailed content of topics; describes knowledge and skills acquired by the students in the course of studying the subject; presents the algorithm of studying the material of the subject. The Article suggests the main task of studying the subject: consideration of a wide range of issues of a modern process of design and development of competences with regard to possessing certain scientific and practical knowledge and methods of using ways of scientific researches in creative process. It is defined that the main purpose of theoretical research in design is development of the methods of implementation of particular project tasks and determination of the principles of using methods in development of design solutions of a wide range of items. Π°ΡΠ°ΠΊΡΠ΅ΡΠΈΡΡΠΈΠΊΠ°ΠΌΠΈ.The article is devoted to the study on determining the basic requirements for the design of conductorsβ uniforms of passenger rail transport. To solve the problems associated with highlighting the most significant indices for the materials and design features of individual products, the use of expert evaluation method has been proposed. A group of experts has been identified, consisting of clothing design experts, managers and representatives of Ukrzaliznytsia. The most essential indicators for materials, constructions and manufacturing technologies, using the method of ranking with normalized coefficients, have been determined on the example of men's and women's uniform suits. To verify the results, the degree of concordance of experts' opinions on the coefficient of concordance has been determined. The calculated values of the coefficients of concordance for all the considered problems are in the range W=0.69Γ·0.78, that indicates a high level of expertsβ agreement. Ranking identifies the sixteen most significant requirements for materials, structures, technologies and cost.
