    Multifaceted Access Scheme Using I-Button

    Get PDF
In Present Scenario the advancement in technology is enormous and therefore the Human working efficiency is increasing day by day. But as there are advantages, there are some disadvantages also like misuse of these technologies. For example if some unauthorized person can get access to the system then we have to suffer a lot. Therefore to overcome this above mentioned problem of security, a Control system can be built to prevent unauthorized access. It is called Access control, which is a system which enables an authority to control access to areas and resources in a given physical facility or computer-based information system. An access control system, within the field of physical security, is generally seen as the second layer in the security of physical structure of such systems. And the advantage of it is that this system contains very high end verification technology which is difficult to be intruded by such unauthorized element. One of the latest, next generation and very advanced technologies which is ā€œI-Buttonā€ has all the above mentioned features. In this work a multi-access system has been designed using ā€œi-buttonā€ for payment of toll tax, petrol filling and recharge. This system will save time of consumers as well as it will provide secure transaction

Central giant cell granulomas of the jaws: A review of the literature with its emphasis on differential diagnosis on related lesions

Central giant cell granuloma (CGCG) is an uncommon benign intraosseous lesion that occurs almost exclusively in the jaws that has variable clinical behavior and is difficult to predict. The CGCG of the jaws is usually a non-neoplastic bone lesion accounting for fewer than 7% of all benign tumors of the jaws. Before the early 1950s, central giant cell lesions (GCLs) of the jaws were generally diagnosed as giant cell tumor (GCT) usually found in epiphyseal regions of long bones. Giant cell lesions (GCLs) are mandatorily diagnosed in consideration with clinical and radiological features which predicts its aggressive and non-aggressive behavior. The incidence in the general population is very low and patients are generally younger than 30 years. CGCG belongs together with GCT, brown tumor of hyperparathyroidism and cherubism to the so-called GCLs, which can be difficult to distinguish solely by microscopic examination. GCT of the long bones is practically identical with CGCG of the jaws on histopathologic examination and is considered by some authors as a manifestation of the same disease, where age and local factors are responsible for different clinical characteristics. The aim of this review is to focus on general considerations of CGCG along with its management and to differentiate between various centrally placed GCLs which mimic each other histologically and sometimes clinically

Exploring the Relationship between LLM Hallucinations and Prompt Linguistic Nuances: Readability, Formality, and Concreteness

As Large Language Models (LLMs) have advanced, they have brought forth new challenges, with one of the prominent issues being LLM hallucination. While various mitigation techniques are emerging to address hallucination, it is equally crucial to delve into its underlying causes. Consequently, in this preliminary exploratory investigation, we examine how linguistic factors in prompts, specifically readability, formality, and concreteness, influence the occurrence of hallucinations. Our experimental results suggest that prompts characterized by greater formality and concreteness tend to result in reduced hallucination. However, the outcomes pertaining to readability are somewhat inconclusive, showing a mixed pattern

ISSN 2347-954X (Print) Study of Perinatal Outcome of Amnio infusion during Labor in Meconium Stained Amniotic Fluid

Abstract: The study was undertaken to assess and compare the perinatal outcome in women with meconium stained amniotic fluid with or without transcervical intrapartum amnio infusion. In this hospital based interventional randomized study, study group (35 cases) received transcervical amnio infusion while control group (35 cases) did not receive amnio infusion. FHR monitoring was done using cardio tocography. Apgar score at 1 minute showed significant difference in study group and controls (Apgar <7/10-28.57% v/s 54.28%, p-value<0.05). On the contrary Apgar score at 5 minute did not show significant difference (2.86% v/s 14.29%, p-value>0.05). Meconium below the vocal cards was seen in significantly fewer cases in study group (20%) compared to controls (45.71%). Meconium aspiration syndrome (MAS) was developed and endotracheal intubation was required in more cases (8.57%) in controls compared to Study group (28.57%) (p<0.05). Two neonates died in the control group due to meconium aspiration syndrome. Thus concluding that amnio infusion of normal saline in meconium stained liquor improves the fetal outcome

Characteristics of Falls Among the Elderly During the COVID-19 Pandemic Lockdown: Covid-19 falls among elderly

    No full text
Background: Every year millions of older people experience a fall. There are many reasons associated as to why a fall occurs in elderly: musculoskeletal weakness, balance issues etc. A fall can lead to a serious injury or mortality depending on the type and impact of the fall. As the environment for the elderly was restricted to their homes during the Covid-19 pandemic, this study aimed at assessing the characteristics of falls during the pandemic. Materials and methods: 60 elderly individuals aging 60 years and above participated in the study. This included 36.7% males and 63.3% females. A pre-validated questionnaire was used to assess the characteristics of falls. Result: Fear of fall was not experienced or was same as before the lockdown however the fall percentage decreased by 7% during the lockdown. Conclusion: Falls among the elderly decreased during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown
