452-456The present investigation reports the occurrence and prevalence of the parasitic cymothoid, Norileca indica infesting bigeyescad, Selar crumenophthalmus from the Andaman Islands. Damage in the form of erosion of gill filament and necrosis in the gill chamber of the host fish, with a prevalence of 26.08% and a mean intensity of 1.5 is recorded. Molecular characterization of the mitochondrial COI and 28S rDNA genes is done to establish its phylogenetic status with its known congener. The present report is the first record of N. indica infesting S. crumenophthalmus from the Andaman Islands

New distributional record of Istigobius diadema (Steindachner, 1876) and Lobotes surinamensis (Bloch 1790) from the Pulicat lagoon, India

The present study records spectacled sand-goby Istigobius diadema (Gobiidae) and tripletail Lobotes surinamensis (Lobotidae) for the first time from Pulicat lagoon, India. Morphological and meristic characters for both the species are described herein. This study finds the current observations as new distributional records for the above two species, thereby adding two more additional species to the ichthyofaunal diversity of Pulicat lagoon

Cryptography: Advances in Secure Communication and Data Protection

In the innovative work secure communication and data protection are being main field, which are emerged by cryptography as a fundamental pillar. Strong cryptographic methods are now essential given the rising reliance on digital technologies and the threats posed by bad actors. This abstract examines the evolution of secure communication protocols and data protection techniques as it relates to the advancements in cryptography. The development of post-quantum cryptography is the most notable development in cryptography discussed in this study. As quantum computers become more powerful, they pose a serious threat to traditional cryptographic algorithms, such as RSA and ECC. Designing algorithms that are immune to attacks from quantum computers is the goal of post-quantum cryptography. Lattice-based, code-based, and multivariate-based cryptography are only a few of the methods that have been investigated in this context

Exploring Explainable Artificial Intelligence for Transparent Decision Making

Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a potent tool in many fields, allowing complicated tasks to be completed with astounding effectiveness. However, as AI systems get more complex, worries about their interpretability and transparency have become increasingly prominent. It is now more important than ever to use Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) methodologies in decision-making processes, where the capacity to comprehend and trust AI-based judgments is crucial. This abstract explores the idea of XAI and how important it is for promoting transparent decision-making. Finally, the development of Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) has shown to be crucial for promoting clear decision-making in AI systems. XAI approaches close the cognitive gap between complicated algorithms and human comprehension by empowering users to comprehend and analyze the inner workings of AI models. XAI equips stakeholders to evaluate and trust AI systems, assuring fairness, accountability, and ethical standards in fields like healthcare and finance where AI-based choices have substantial ramifications. The development of XAI is essential for attaining AI's full potential while retaining transparency and human-centric decision making, despite ongoing hurdles

    Multi-Parameter Sensor Based Automation Farming

IOT innovation is used in the development of the Smart Farming Tracking the System. An Arduino Uno, a temperature humidity sensor, soil moisture sensor, water level sensor, water pumps, and DC motors strength this system. If the smart farming tracking system turns on, the sensors find the field’s water level and the soil’s moisture level. If the irrigation water stage falls below the level defined for a specific crop grown in the growing area, the irrigation system is going to start to pump water. The IOT warns concerning current level of water, soil moisture stage, and motor beginning will be shown on the LCD panel of the section. We are able to use the pumps by hand via a webpage. The farmers are additionally getting this data via mobile phone. By hitting a system- provided link, the individual using it may firmly prevent the water’s flow within the field. While carried out, the system will assist landowners to preserve suitable soil water and moisture levels, thus boosting yields with little work. The goal of this article is to identify grow illnesses and reduce losses in money. For picture appeal, we suggested an entirely based on deep learning method. We put the three most common Neural Network Designs to the test: Faster Region-based entirely judgment (SVM)Support Vector Machine Region-based entirely (RF) Random Forest method. The method suggested in the research can correctly detect many types of disease and is capable of dealing in complicated situations. In addition, the method may be expanded to recommend fertilizer according to extent evaluation as well as measurement. artificial intelligence (AI) entirely Machine Learning Response to this the combination the issue is a supervised categorization judgment

Analysis of systems using distributed consensus algorithms

Nowadays, systems that are highly operational in distributed environments require a coordination protocol among the participating servers in the network. A consensus between the participating servers forms the basis of building a coordination protocol. The consensus enables a reliable fault-tolerant distributed system. The most famous and common consensus algorithms are Paxos and Raft. Paxos algorithm is widely considered difficult to understand and is not implementation-friendly. On the other hand, Raft is a different algorithm that some researchers described as a modern consensus algorithm. Other consensus algorithms are available nowadays that share some similarities with Paxos and Raft. In this research, we have analyzed two systems MongoDB and Redis that use Raft consensus algorithm. Testing scenarios were created and executed. We tested the correctness and the performance of the two systems under different workloads against various system configurations. Results are presented and discussed in this work. The result of this analysis can help application developers or business organizations select an appropriate system to accommodate their needs

The new record is based on 2 specimens, 123 and 154 mm SL, captured inshore of Dignabad, Port Blair, Andaman Islands, India. The fish were examined, described, and illustrated. Morphometric and morphological data confirmed that the specimens examined from the Andamans are L. xanthopinnis, which varies distinctly from a closely-related species Lutjanus madras (Valenciennes, 1831).Not Availabl

Minimally invasive Mckeown esophagectomy with modified three-field lymphadenectomy in case of situs inversus totalis with carcinoma mid esophagus

Performing complex surgical procedures in patients with situs inversus totalis is a challenge because of the need to orient to the completely mirror transposed abdominal and thoracic viscera. We report our experience in performing a three phase minimally invasive (thoracoscopic and laparoscopic) esophagectomy for carcinoma of the mid esophagus in a patient with situs inversus totalis. We believe that this is the first reported case of this kind
