This research examined the influence of family interfere with work conflict to job satisfaction, performance and intention to leave, and also the influence of job satisfaction to performance and intention to leave. Survey conducted on 128 bank employees found several findings. First, family interfere with work conflict has negative influence to job satisfaction. This article is aimed to test the infunce of charisma, intellectual stimulation, inspirational motivation and individualized consideration as dimensions of transformational leadership to employee performance measured by in-role and extra role per formance.  This artcle is also examine the infuence of contingent reward and management by exception as dimensions of transactional leadership to employee performance measured with in-role and extra role performance. Five hundred and four manufacturing sector employees participated in this reseach. Rancangan Model Pengembangan Kewirausahaan pada Mahasiswa Ditinjau dari Persepsi, Minat dan Kompetensi Kewirausahaan

Pengelolaan sumber daya alam belum maksimal, ketersediaan lapangan pekerjaan juga belum bisa menampung angkatan kerja yang ada. Yang lebih memprihatinkan lagi adalah sedikitnya jumlah wirausahawan, padahal untuk menjadi sebuah bangsa maju dan mandiri suatu negara harus mempunyai sedikitnya 2% wirausahawan dari jumlah penduduk.  Indonesia sampai saat ini hanya memiliki 0,18% wirausaha, artinya masih sangat sedikit masyarakat Indonesia yang memiliki mental kreatif, inovatif dan tidak mengandalkan hidupnya dengan mencari pekerjaan. Perlu dibangun masyarakat yang memiliki mental pencipta lapangan pekerjaan, salah satunya bisa didorong dengan mengembangkan program pendidikan entrepreneurship  (kewirausahaan) yang dimulai pada usia dini. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari model pengembangan kewirausahaan pada mahasiswa yang didasarkan pada 1) persepsi mahasiswa terhadap kewirausahaan, 2) minat mahasiswa terhadap kewirausahaan, 3) kompetensi yang dibutuhkan mahasiswa dalam hal kewirausahaan. Mengambil lokasi penelitian di Malang, dengan informan dari tiga perguruan tinggi besar yang ada, diharapkan bisa mewakili karakter mahasiswa pada umumnya. Menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, penelitian ini menghasilkan model-model pengembangan kewirausahaan pada mahasiswa yang didasarkan pada persepsi, minat dan kompetensi yang dimiliki saat ini

THE USE OF COOPERATIVE INTEGRATED READING AND COMPOSITION (CIRC) METHOD TO IMPROVE STUDENTS’ READING COMPREHENSION

In general, most of the students of senior high school have difficulties in comprehending texts. The objective of this research was to investigate the use of Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) method to improve students’ reading comprehension. The participants of this research were 32 students of grade XI of Social Science (XI IPS 1) of SMA 2 Blitar. This research was a classroom action research which was done in two cycles. The data of this research were collected by conducting observation, interview, documentation, and test with the criteria of minimum mastery (KKM) of 76. The result showed that that the students successfully met the criteria of minimum mastery. It was indicated from the improvement of the students’ mean score from 74.38 in Cycle 1 to 81.41 in Cycle 2. It was also found that the students’ activity was delightful in the class thanks to the method. In conclusion, CIRC method was found beneficial to improve the students’ reading comprehension, and enhance the learning process of reading.Secara umum, sebagian besar siswa SMA mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami teks. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penggunaan metode Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa kelas XI IPS 1 SMA 2 Blitar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Data penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) sebesar 76. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa berhasil mencapai KKM. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari peningkatan nilai rata-rata siswa dari 74.38 pada siklus 1 menjadi 81.41 pada siklus 2. Aktivitas siswa di kelas juga lebih menyenangkan berkat penerapan metode CIRC. Kesimpulannya, metode CIRC bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan pemahaman membaca siswa, dan meningkatkan proses pembelajaran membaca

Perubahan Distribusi Luas Garapan Dan Pendapatan Di Daerah Kantung Produksi Padi

"Gini Concentration Ratio" merupakan alat analisa yang lazim digunakan oleh banyak orang untuk mengukur penyebaran/distribusi pendapatan agregat masyarakat. Tulisan ini ingin menyajikan hasil penelitian tentang bagaimana Perubahan distribusi luas pengusahaan (garapan) sawah dan pendapatan selam 5 tahun, 1981 versus 1976. Hasil penelitian yang patut dicatat :(1) telah terjadi kenaikan ketimpangan luas garapan sawah cukup tajam di seluruh desa contoh, )2) sebanyak 7 deswa diantara 8 desa contoh juga telah mengalami kenaikan ketimpangan pendapatan tetapi tidak setajam pada luas garapan sawah dan (3) kenaikan ketimpangan itu terjadi baik di desa yang pendapatan nyata per kapitanya naik maupun yang turun

Recently, social capital becomes a popular term in business world. Researchers believe that social capital has significant influence on employee performance. However, there has not been found any research examining how social capital can be built. This article tries to fill the gap by examining the effect of leader behavior to employees\u27 social capital. The results find strong support for the effect of transactional and transformational leadership to relational dimension ofsocial capital, and also strong support for the effect of transformational leadership to cognitive dimension of social capital. The results do not find any support for the effect of transactional and transformational leadership to structural dimension of social capital and the effect of transactional leadership to cognitive dimension of social capital

Analysis of Marketing Margin Behaviour Using Econometric Model: The Case of Groundnut in East Java

IndonesianPedagang sering dikritik sebagai pihak yang membuat harga komoditas pertanian di tingkat petani tetap rendah dan harga di tingkat konsumen tinggi serta cenderung memperbesar marjin pemasaran. Studi ini bertujuan menganalisis perilaku marjin pemasaran kacang tanah di Jawa Timur dan secara spesifik menguji hipotesa bahwa pedagang tidak mempraktekkan strategi price levelling dan bersikap netral terhadap risiko harga. Dengan menggunakan metoda ekonometrik, hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pedagang menerapkan strategi tersebut di atas dan bersikap netral terhadap risiko harga, dan marjin pemasaran tidak meningkat dalam jangka panjang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, kebijaksanaan stabilisasi harga kacang tanah tidak dianjurkan.EnglishMiddlemen are often blamed as those practicing a behaviour which keeps price of agricultural commodities low at the farmgate and high at the consumer level and tend to widen the gap between these two price levels, i.e., the marketing margins. The present study aims to analyze the behaviour of marketing margins of groundnut in East Java. It specifically tests the hypotheses of the non-existence of price levelling behaviour and price-risk neutrality of the middlemen. Employing an econometric method, the present study found that middlemen practiced price levelling behaviour and did not respond to price risk and the marketing margins has not increased in the long-run. On the basis of these results, policies stabilising the price of groundnut are not suggested
