UNE CULTURE MEDITERRANEENNE FRAGMENTEE : LA REVENDICATION AMAZIGHE ENTRE LOCAL(ITE) ET TRANSNATIONAL(ITE)

Ce texte se propose d'offrir une perspective transfrontalière des mouvements culturels berbères au Maghreb et en France. L'objectif est de retracer les cheminements de la berbérité qui peuvent dans le même temps construire une revendication spécifique et locale et se brancher à une lutte berbère dans son acception globale. Il s'agit tout d'abord de retracer les contextes politiques, culturels et sociaux qui enserrent les revendications dans chaque pays (principalement Maroc, Algérie, France mais aussi Canaries et populations touarègues). Quelles sont leur spécificité, qui en sont les instigateurs et comment le mouvement se déploie-t-il au niveau national ? L'étude des convergences et des divergences de ces revendications permettra de discuter les " lieux " de cristallisation d'un mouvement local, national et/ou transnational. En effet, la tension réside entre d'un côté l'homogénéisation d'une culture berbère unique se déployant sur les différents territoires nationaux (engendrant une convergence des revendications) et de l'autre l'hétérogénéisation des cultures berbères qui s'enracinent, elles, dans le local et déploient toute leurs diversités et particularités (ne tendant alors plus à une unité théorique et revendicative). Cette tension entre particularité, hétérogénéité d'un côté et homogénéité culturelle de l'autre conduit à des revendications localistes (dans le rif marocain) et à une revendication transnationale (à travers le Congrès mondial Amazigh). Cette dernière idéologie traduit la convergence des berbérités " nationales " vers une identité amazighe globale, qui s'illustre notamment à travers le territoire de Tamazgha, le peuple Imazighen et des symboles tels que le drapeau amazigh et l'alphabet tifinagh

Vegetable oil hybrid films cross-linked at the air-water interface: formation kinetics and physical characterization

Vegetable oil based hybrid films were developed thanks to a novel solvent- and heating- free method at the air-water interface using silylated castor oil cross-linked via a sol-gel reaction. To understand the mechanism of the hybrid film formation, the reaction kinetics was studied in detail by using complementary techniques: rheology, thermogravimetric analysis, and infrared spectroscopy. The mechanical properties of the final films were investigated by nano-indentation, whereas their structure was studied using a combination of wide-angle X-ray scattering, electron diffraction, and atomic force microscopy. We found that solid and transparent films form in 24 hours and, by changing the silica precursor to castor oil ratio, their mechanical properties are tunable in the MPa-range by about a factor of twenty. In addition to that, a possible optimization of the cross-linking reaction with different catalysts was explored and finally, cytotoxicity tests were performed on fibroblasts proving the absence of film toxicity. The results of this work pave the way to a straightforward synthesis of castor-oil films with tunable mechanical properties: hybrid films cross-linked at the air-water interface combine an easy and cheap spreading protocol with the features of their thermal history optimized for possible future micro/nano drug loading, thus representing excellent candidates for the replacement of non-environment friendly petroleum-based materials

Food-induced fatal anaphylaxis: from epidemiological data to general prevention strategies

BACKGROUND: Anaphylaxis hospitalisations are increasing in many countries, in particular for medication and food triggers in young children. Food-related anaphylaxis remains an uncommon cause of death, but a significant proportion of these are preventable. AIM: To review published epidemiological data relating to food-induced anaphylaxis and potential risk factors of fatal and/or near-fatal anaphylaxis cases, in order to provide strategies to reduce the risk of severe adverse outcomes in food anaphylaxis. METHODS: We identified 32 published studies available in MEDLINE (1966-2017), EMBASE (1980-2017), CINAHL (1982-2017), using known terms and synonyms suggested by librarians and allergy specialists. RESULTS: Young adults with a history of asthma, previously known food allergy particularly to peanut/tree nuts are at higher risk of fatal anaphylaxis reactions. In some countries, cow's milk and seafood/fish are also becoming common triggers of fatal reactions. Delayed adrenaline injection is associated with fatal outcomes, but timely adrenaline alone may be insufficient. There is still a lack of evidence regarding the real impact of these risk factors and co-factors (medications and/or alcohol consumption, physical activities, and mast cell disorders). CONCLUSIONS: General strategies should include optimization of the classification and coding for anaphylaxis (new ICD 11 anaphylaxis codes), dissemination of international recommendations on the treatment of anaphylaxis, improvement of the prevention in food and catering areas and, dissemination of specific policies for allergic children in schools. Implementation of these strategies will involve national and international support for ongoing local efforts in relationship with networks of centres of excellence to provide personalized management (which might include immunotherapy) for the most at-risk patients.
