The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of Kinesiotape in the lower limb area on improving locomotion in patients with ischemic stroke. Materials and Methods: The study was conducted in the period 2014-2015 at the General Hospital for Active Treatment in Blagoevgrad. Forty patients were studied, divided into two groups of 20 patients - experimental (EG) and control group (KG). In addition, we have applied Đ° standard kinesitherapy program in the two studied groups, in the experimental group, 3 kinesiotape tapes with a specific application "I" shape and a specialized method of application in the field of the foot and m. gluteus maximuswere placed. The results were compared with the results of the patients from the control group and processed with descriptive statistics, as well as non-parametric tests to prove statistically significant differences. Results: After research and analysis, we obtained faster recovery of locomotion in the experimental group and slowing of locomotor movements in the control group (Wilcoxon, ANOVA). Conclusion: The results of our research show that the application of the author's methodology with kinesiotape creates an opportunity to improve the functions in the damaged lower limb, improves locomotion and quality of life

Myocardial infarction is the leading cause of death and disability worldwide. Bulgaria has increased the incidence of this disease and the average age is about 50 years old and suffers mostly males. The latest data [4, 8, 9, 10] rehabilitation of these patients reflects favorably on the quality of life. Numerous studies have shown that early conducting of cardiorehabilitation recovery, prevent future vascular incident, improved control of risk factors and improves the quality of life for patients with cardiovascular diseases [1, 5, 6]. It is generally accepted that the basis of the rehabilitation program in patients with AMI and held the PCI are dosed exercise. It includes training, control of risk factors, psychological and social assistance and exercise of low and moderate intensity [2, 3, 7]. The closure of international borders due to COVID-19 has made it difficult to plan the timing of orders along the entire global value chain. This negatively affected the ability to timely produce the desired and ordered customers‘ furniture. As a result, when communicating with customers and suppliers, a shorter period of validity of the price offer was introduced. It required a review and update of the price offer and additional delay in the negotiations. A study of the main marketing strategies of the Bulgarian companies in the furniture industry is needed to outline to what extent they have been able to meet customer expectations. This research presents the role and significance of modern marketing tools for furniture manufacturers and clients in crisis conditions. Hence, the trends in the furniture market compared to consumer desires in the context of the new working and living conditions. The research methodology includes a study of 85 Bulgarian furniture manufacturers. The data were collected using a large-scale questionnaire distributed on the spot during the months March-April 2022. In addition, 80 furniture consumers were questioned regarding the used and preferred marketing communications by furniture manufacturers. The questionnaires were distributed in the period of September-October 2022. The results of the survey show that furniture manufacturers in Bulgaria have not yet met consumer expectations, using mainly traditional marketing methods of communicatio

Purpose. The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of mirror therapy as a method of restoring damaged upper limb function in patients with ischemic stroke treated with venous thrombolysis. Materials. Mirror therapy was administered to 10 thrombolyzed patients with ischemic stroke. The patients were treated in the neurological ward of the Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment-Blagoevgrad in the period from 2014-2015. After signing a declaration of informed consent of the patients, a Barthel index test was applied before and after hospitalization. The duration of the procedure is 15-20 minutes for 5 days and is part of the general kinesitherapy program. The Prizm statistical package was used for statistical data processing and graphical presentation. Results. The mean age of the studied contingent was 67±2.8 years. Our new and specialized method of kinesitherapy for the recovery of patients treated with venous thrombolysis confirms a significant positive effect (Wilcoxon, ANOVA). Conclusion. The results of our research show that the application of the author's methodology with mirror therapy creates an opportunity to improve the functions in the damaged upper limb and improves the quality of life

Zur wahrgenommenen IntensitÀt adaptiver und maladaptiver Emotionen im Kontext rationaler und irrationaler Kognitionen

In the theoretical foundations of Rational-Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) Albert Ellis distinguishes between irrational (overreaching and rigid) cognitions, which result in maladaptive emotions, and rational cognitions (realistic expectations and preferences), which result in adaptive emotions. Present studies confirm substantial differences between adaptive and maladaptive emotions with regard to numerous relevant variables of emotion theories (in particular: functionality). Perceived intensity of adaptive and maladaptive emotions has not been investigated so far. By using experimental scenario studies (N = 158) possible differences of intensity between adaptive and maladaptive emotions are investigated. It is hypothesized, that maladaptive emotions are more strongly perceived by irrational thinkers than by rational thinkers whereas adaptive emotions should be perceived more intensively by rationally thinking persons. A first study reveals a higher perceived intensity of maladaptive emotions in comparison to adaptive emotions. A second study demonstrates that generally more intense emotions are attributed to people having irrational beliefs. However this tendency is significantly stronger for maladaptive emotions. Possible explanations for this limited support of the hypotheses are discussed.
