Basic Sectors of Activity of the State in Ensuring Security and Defense of Ukraine

Зазначено про необхідність використання та запровадження міжнародного досвіду у вказаній сфері. До основних основні видів внутрішньої та зовнішньої безпеки та оборони України віднесені такі складові, як: економічна, соціальна, екологічна, політична та інформаційна безпека. Визначені пріоритетні напрямки забезпечення безпеки і оборони держави, серед яких демографічна складова, протидія корупції тощо.The article investigates the most urgent problems which emerge in the process of ensuring security and defense of the state. The problems of reforming the legislative basis of the security sector are dealt with. The necessity of using and implementing international experience in the given sphere is pointed out. The main directions of the state bodies activities in ensuring security and defense of Ukraine are brought forward. The article analyzes the main types of hazards which constitute a threat to the national security of Ukraine. It is stressed that security and defense of the country demand well-organized coordination of activities by all the subjects ensuring the national security and also cooperation with international organizations, first of all with the European Union and NATO as well as individual countries, which includes sharing experience, economic, political, and military cooperation, providing mutual support. The security sector reformation should be planned according to definite programs, well-founded, and brought to logical completion, directed at raising the effectiveness of the security and defense sector functioning, its combat readiness, ability to defend the country's sovereignty and independence, inviolability of Ukraine's territorial integrity, and to protect human rights and freedoms, interests of the society and the state. The identified subjects of national security of Ukraine shows that the primary role in ensuring security in the country and the effective functioning security sector of Ukraine belongs to the President as head of state, Parliament and Government of Ukraine, as they define and implement public policies in this area. Defines the following main activities of the state in ensuring security and defense of Ukraine, improvement of legislation, including the harmonization of law, eliminating collisions and ambiguous regulations; interaction with foreign countries on exchange of experience, economic and political cooperation; development of information technologies for elimination of threats to Ukraine's information security and prevention of their occurrence; counteracting corruption; strengthening of state defense; prevention of threats to the security and defense of the state. Where the priority is to increase the social security of the population, economic growth, financial and political stability in the state, etc. The urgent need is to adjust the activities of all state bodies and structures and to overcome internal problems.Освещается вопрос реформирования законодательной базы сектора безопасности Украины. Отмечена необходимость использования и внедрения международного опыта в указанной сфере. К основным основным видам внутренней и внешней безопасности и обороны Украины отнесены такие составляющие, как: экономическая, социальная, экологическая, политическая и информационная безопасность. Определены приоритетные направления обеспечения безопасности и обороны государства, среди которых демографическая составляющая, противодействие коррупции и т.д

Розквіт та падіння Assassin's Creed від Ubisoft

The development of Assassin’s Creed, created by Ubisoft, was analyzed in this article. In this research was used the information, which was based on: my own gamer experience, processing the information which was taken from the game forums. The facts which video bloggers found in their review for these games were taken into account. The key moments of gameplay process and the mistakes of the developers were considered. The variants of solving the problems which were mentioned before were offered in the article.У цій статті був проведений аналіз розвитку ігрової серії Assassin's Creed, яку створила компанія Ubisoft. В самому дослідженні була використана інформація, котра була зібрана на основі: власного досвіду проходження ігор з цієї серії, обробки інформації, отриманої з ігрових форумів, також до уваги були прийняті факти, викладені відеоблогерами у їх оглядах на ці ігри. У статті охоплювалися ключові моменти ігрового процесу, помилки розробників. Також були запропоновані варіанти рішення вищевказаних проблем

Звернуто увагу, що методологія дослідження адміністративно-правових засад діяльності сектору безпеки і оборони України дозволяє визначити способи здобуття наукових знань про стан сектора безпеки і оборони, провести дослідження адміністративно-правового статусу суб’єктів сектора безпеки і оборони, забезпечити всебічність інформації щодо адміністративно-правового регулювання функціонування системи сектора безпеки і оборони, розглянути перспективи реформування сектору безпеки і оборони, розробити шляхи подолання деструктивних явищ в сфері безпеки і оборони адміністративно-правовими заходами.It is proved in the article that the methodology of the study of the administrative and legal principles of the security and defense sector is a conceptual plan and purpose of the study, a statement of the contents and practical application of methods and techniques of knowledge of the processes and phenomena taking place in the administrative and legal maintenance of the functioning of the security and defense sector. It is noted that the methodology of the study of the administrative and legal basis of the activity of the security and defense sector of Ukraine allows us to determine the ways of obtaining scientific knowledge about the state of the security and defense sector, to conduct a study on the administrative and legal status of the security and defense sector entities, to provide comprehensive information on the administrative and legal to regulate the functioning of the security and defense sector, to consider the prospects for reforming the security and defense sector, to develop ways to overcome destructive phenomena in the field of security and defense administrative-legal measures.В статье доказано, что методология исследования административно-правовых основ деятельности сектора безопасности и обороны – это концептуальный план и цель исследования, изложение содержания и практическое применение методов и приемов познания процессов и явлений, происходящих в административно-правовом обеспечении функционирования сектора безопасности и обороны. Обращено внимание, что методология исследования административно-правовых основ деятельности сектора безопасности и обороны Украины позволяет определить способы получения научных знаний о состоянии сектора безопасности и обороны, провести исследования административно-правового статуса субъектов сектора безопасности и обороны, обеспечить всесторонность информации по административно-правовому регулирования функционирования системы сектора безопасности и обороны, рассмотреть перспективы реформирования сектора безопасности и обороны, разработать пути преодоления деструктивных явлений в сфере безопасности и обороны административно-правовыми мерами

Terrorism is generally dangerous acts or their threat, committed publicly and impinges on public security, creating fear, panic, anxiety, oppression in the society with the aim of directly or indirectly infl uencing the adoption or refusal of decisions in the interests of persons committing an act of terrorism, or having ordered its commission. Terror, as a dangerous crime, is characterized by violent acts against certain categories of the population, like explosions, fi res, sabotage and other socially dangerous acts on the international scale, like organized criminal activity aimed at intimidating authorities and the population, as organization, fi nancing, support and the creation of terrorist groups. Counteraction to terrorism requires the appropriate organizational and legal activities of government bodies, international cooperation, timely elimination of the causes and conditions for the commission of terrorist acts.У статті показано, що тероризм проявляється у використанні або загрозі застосування насильства для досягнення політичних, економічних, релігійних або ідеологічних цілей. Resilient Strategies and Sustainability in Agri-Food Supply Chains in the Face of High-Risk Events

[EN] Agri-food supply chains (AFSCs) are very vulnerable to high risks such as pandemics, causing economic and social impacts mainly on the most vulnerable population. Thus, it is a priority to implement resilient strategies that enable AFSCs to resist, respond and adapt to new market challenges. At the same time, implementing resilient strategies impact on the social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainability. The objective of this paper is twofold: analyze resilient strategies on AFSCs in the literature and identify how these resilient strategies applied in the face of high risks affect the achievement of sustainability dimensions. Design of agile supply chains including analysing the trade-off between number of partners and reliability

The reliability of supply partners is particularly vital in agile supply chains as it is vulnerable to the inability of a supply partner to meet its high responsiveness and flexibility requirements resulting in the disruption of the whole network. Disruption can have expensive and extensive results for the entire agile supply chain. To mitigate the risk of disruption and improve the reliability of the whole agile supply chain, decision-makers need to pay more attention to supply chain design and construction, whilst simultaneously taking into account the sourcing strategy decisions. This paper proposes a series of models for the design of agile supply chains using dynamic programming modelling. These provide decision-makers with a systematic way of analysing one of the key decisions of sourcing strategy, namely the trade-off between the number of supply partners and reliability. The efficacy of the models is demonstrated through their application to a Chinese bus and coach manufacturer by way of an empirical illustration. The results show that this approach is effective for this application and it can be applied in other related decision-making scenarios. The methods offered in this paper provide managers with a practical tool to design their agile supply chains while considering the trade-offs between the number of partners and the reliability of the entire agile supply chain
