On an easy transition from operator dynamics to generating functionals by Clifford algebras

Clifford geometric algebras of multivectors are treated in detail. These algebras are build over a graded space and exhibit a grading or multivector structure. The careful study of the endomorphisms of this space makes it clear, that opposite Clifford algebras have to be used also. Based on this mathematics, we give a fully Clifford algebraic account on generating functionals, which is thereby geometric. The field operators are shown to be Clifford and opposite Clifford maps. This picture relying on geometry does not need positivity in principle. Furthermore, we propose a transition from operator dynamics to corresponding generating functionals, which is based on the algebraic techniques. As a calculational benefit, this transition is considerable short compared to standard ones. The transition is not injective (unique) and depends additionally on the choice of an ordering. We obtain a direct and constructive connection between orderings and the explicit form of the functional Hamiltonian. These orderings depend on the propagator of the theory and thus on the ground state. This is invisible in path integral formulations. The method is demonstrated within two examples, a non-linear spinor field theory and spinor QED. New Exact Solutions of a Generalized Shallow Water Wave Equation

In this work an extended elliptic function method is proposed and applied to the generalized shallow water wave equation. We systematically investigate to classify new exact travelling wave solutions expressible in terms of quasi-periodic elliptic integral function and doubly-periodic Jacobian elliptic functions. The derived new solutions include rational, periodic, singular and solitary wave solutions. An interesting comparison with the canonical procedure is provided. In some cases the obtained elliptic solution has singularity at certain region in the whole space. For such solutions we have computed the effective region where the obtained solution is free from such a singularity.Comment: A discussion about singularity and some references are added. Analysis of Adverse Reactions in Elderly Patients Based on Quantitative Methods of Signal Detection

A well-known problem in pharmacotherapy is an increased risk of adverse drug reactions (ADRs) in older as compared to younger patients. The Russian pharmacovigilance database includes a significant number of spontaneous reports of suspected ADRs in patients aged 65 and older. An increase in ADRs reporting makes it difficult to identify potential safety signals based on qualitative approaches only, which necessitates the use of statistical methods for signal detection based on disproportionality.The aim of the study was to assess the applicability of quantitative methods for signal detection and analysis of ADR risks in the elderly using the Russian spontaneous report database.Materials and methods: the study covered the reports on patients 65 years of age and older, which were submitted to the spontaneous report database from January 2008 until June 2018. The procedure recommended by the European Medicines Agency was used to identify potential statistical safety signals which were determined based on the following criteria: Reporting Odds Ratio, ROR—lower bound of the 95% confidence interval >1, number of cases ≥2; Proportional Reporting Ratio, PRR ≥ 2, Chi-square value χ2 ≥ 4, number of cases ≥3, lower bound of the 95% confidence interval >1, number of cases ≥3.Results: 2231 potential statistical signals were identified. Of these, the vast majority of combinations of suspected drugs and ADRs were associated with known drug risks, and were not new safety signals for these drugs. The largest proportion of statistical signals was attributed to the following pharmacological groups: antiplatelet agents, cephalosporins, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, fluoroquinolones, angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors, metabolic agents, and indirect anticoagulants.Conclusion: the results obtained indicate the applicability and effectiveness of statistical methods based on disproportionality of reporting for the analysis of the Russian spontaneous report database in order to identify potential drug safety issues

Avaliação da aptidão agroecológica das terras de paisagens montanhosas da Região Serrana do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.

A avaliação do potencial agrícola fornece informações relevantes para subsidiar o planejamento do uso das terras. O objetivo deste trabalho foi aplicar um conjunto de procedimentos para a avaliação do potencial agroecológico das terras em uma área montanhosa na região Serrana do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, ocupada por pequenos produtores rurais, em regime de agricultura familiar. Foram considerados, na avaliação agroecológica, informações de solos, geomorfologia, litologia, rede de drenagem, estrutura fundiária, uso e cobertura vegetal, declividade e unidades ambientais, extraídas de estudos anteriores. Essas informações foram incorporadas a um banco de dados desenvolvido no SIG e associadas com informações socioeconômicas de pluviosidade e áreas de proteção legal e, a partir dessas informações, avaliou-se a aptidão agroecológica por unidades ambientais delimitadas. O modelo de aptidão agroecológica considerado envolve a indicação de uso, manejo e sugestão de alternativas sustentáveis de utilização das terras com menor índice de agressão ao meio ambiente, de forma a incrementar a qualidade ambiental sem descuidar da integridade das terras. A metodologia usada foi adequada ao planejamento de áreas de relevo movimentado, pois, onde se identificou a ocorrência de compartimentos mais frágeis e problemáticos em função dos solos, da declividade, da suscetibilidade aos processos erosivos e ao maior grau de fragilidade ambiental, estes se encaixaram nas classes de aptidão inapta, restrita, preservação ambiental ou áreas de recomposição de matas.bitstream/item/146012/1/BPD-254-Avaliacao-Aptidao-Serrana-RJ.pd

We report the results of studies on the influences of the organic carbon dioxide absorbent – aqueous solution of activated methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) – on the physico-chemical and mechanical characteristics of nickel-alumina catalyst NIAP-07-01 (NKM-1) and cement-containing catalysts NIAP-07-07 (NKM-7), Meth-134 and Meth-135 for the hydrogenation of carbon oxide (methanation). It is established that for the nickel-alumina and nickel-cement-containing catalysts subjected to activated methyldiethanolamine (MDEA) it’s possible to restore their strength and catalytic properties. In order to increase the time of operation of the methanator it is recommended to apply a new Nickel cement-containing catalyst NIAP-07-07 (NKM-7), which can be produced as tablets, rings or extrudates.Приведены результаты исследований воздействия органического абсорбента в виде водного раствора активированного метилдиэтаноламина (МДЭА), являющегося абсорбентом диоксида углерода при его удалении из азото-водородной смеси, на физико-химические и физико-механические характеристики никельалюминиевого марки НИАП-07-01 (НКМ-1) и цементсодержащих марки НИАП-07-07 (НКМ-7), Meth-134 и Meth-135 катализаторов гидрирования оксидов углерода (метанирования). Установлено, что никельалюминиевые и никельцементсодержащие катализаторы, подвергнутые воздействию активированного метилдиэтаноламина (МДЭА), восстанавливают свои прочностные и каталитические свойства.
