Modern nanotechnologies are designed to create functionally hybrid inorganic/organic materials with
extraordinary properties. Great interest in this direction was gained by clathrates – inclusion compounds
built on the host principle. Applying intercalation techniques, the supramolecular structures thus
formed can be ordered in a certain way using inorganic matrices, forming clathrates of subhost<host
> type. According to this principle, we formed GaSe> clathrate. By forming this structure
using weak interactions, it was possible to observe a giant magnetocapacitance effect at room temperature.
Its obtained values indicate the prospects of using GaSe> clathrate as a material for creating
capacitive analogues of resistive storage devices. The observed effect is related to a special state of the impurity energy subsystem, which at room temperature will have a decisive influence. Thus, when
> supramolecular complex is introduced into the GaSe semiconductor matrix, impurity levels
are split into bands and a quasi-continuous spectrum is formed in two temperature ranges: 248-252 and
298-332 K. The formation in this case also of deep quantum wells at the semiconductor matrix/supramolecular complex interface led to the effect of negative capacitance, which, in turn, can be used to form
non-gyratory delay lines that can be directly incorporated into the structure of micro- and nanoelectronics.
The magnitude of this effect, according to the research results, can be controlled by illumination and an
applied constant magnetic field. The theoretical calculations of the impurity energy spectrum, carried out
based on impedance spectroscopy data according to the Geballe-Pollack theory, show good agreement with
the experimental data
Properties and possibilities of practical applications of GaSe crystal intercalated with β-cyclodextrin doped with iodine
The clathrate complex of hierarchical architecture was successfully synthesised by the intercalation of beta-cyclodextrin (β-CD) and molecular iodine (J2) in between the layers of five-fold expanded matrix of gallium selenide (GaSe). The obtained clathrate was investigated by the impedance spectroscopy under normal conditions, at illumination and in the constant magnetic field and the character of clathrate response to the ac electric field was established. As a result of studies of the synthesized GaSe> complex the following phenomena were found: the effect of the effect of negative capacitance, magnetoresistivity effect and magnetodielectric and photodielectric effects. The research result of the obtained clathrate indicates its possible practical application for the creation of nongyrator delay nanolines, the parameters of which can be controlled by a constant magnetic field and the light. The clathrate can also be used as a highly sensitive magnetic field sensor of resistive and capacitive type
InSe> clathrate is a 2D hierarchical structure of the subhost> type obtained by the intercalation method under the influence of light. In this case, we used a layered InSe single
crystal as a semiconductor 2D matrix, thiourea (CS(NH2)2) functioned as a supramolecular cavitand, and
anthracene (C14H10) as a photoelectret. We used illumination during synthesis for the photoelectret polarization of anthracene. The impedance spectroscopy method was used to study the conductive and polarization properties of InSe> clathrate. As a result, the manifestation of photoinduced quantum capacitance was recorded, the nature of which is associated with the discretization of the energy spectrum and finite tunneling times. The results obtained from the study of the thermally stimulated discharge
spectra show that InSe> clathrate is characterized by homo-charge relaxation and
broad bands with a quasi-continuous spectrum of localized states. The behavior of the current-voltage
characteristics indicates the manifestation of photocurrent with a value of + 23.5 mV

Supercapacity of Soft-Expanded Graphite in Li-Intercalational Electric Current Generation
A microwave-intercalation modification of natural graphite which ensures its effective use as a cathode material of Li-based sources of electric current is developed. Interconnection between the parameters of modification and thermodynamic and kinetic behavior of Li-intercalation electric current generation is established. On the basis of the obtained data from impedance spectroscopy, X-ray diffractometry analysis, and spectroscopy of the Raman scattering of light, the mechanism of the observed phenomena is suggested
