    Los criterios A.S.G. son un conjunto de prácticas utilizadas mayormente en el gremio corporativo y financiero, son las que propenden a la toma de decisiones de manera responsable y sostenible en ámbitos ambientales, sociales y de gobierno corporativo. El desarrollo de estos criterios proviene del ámbito internacional, donde diferentes organizaciones, durante los últimos años, han realizado un llamado a las naciones a tomar medidas frente a la falta de responsabilidad en materia de sostenibilidad de la sociedad actual. Por lo que se han realizado diferentes informes, declaraciones, convenios y tratados donde las diferentes naciones se comprometen con la sostenibilidad; por esto, se debe resaltar la importancia de las corporaciones para el logro de estos objetivos. Esto se ha evidenciado en la intención de vincular a las empresas de diferentes formas tanto del ámbito internacional como en el trasnacional.The E.S.G. criteria are a set of practices mostly used in the corporate and financial guild, they promote responsible and sustainable decision making in environmental, social and corporate governance areas; the development of these criteria comes from the international arena, where different organizations, during the last years, have made a call to the nations to take measures against the lack of responsibility in terms of sustainability of today's society. Therefore, different reports, declarations, agreements and treaties have been made where different nations are committed to sustainability; for this reason, the importance of corporations for the achievement of these objectives should be highlighted, this has been evidenced in the intention to link companies in different ways both internationally and transnationally

    Search for eccentric black hole coalescences during the third observing run of LIGO and Virgo

    Despite the growing number of confident binary black hole coalescences observed through gravitational waves so far, the astrophysical origin of these binaries remains uncertain. Orbital eccentricity is one of the clearest tracers of binary formation channels. Identifying binary eccentricity, however, remains challenging due to the limited availability of gravitational waveforms that include effects of eccentricity. Here, we present observational results for a waveform-independent search sensitive to eccentric black hole coalescences, covering the third observing run (O3) of the LIGO and Virgo detectors. We identified no new high-significance candidates beyond those that were already identified with searches focusing on quasi-circular binaries. We determine the sensitivity of our search to high-mass (total mass M>70 M⊙) binaries covering eccentricities up to 0.3 at 15 Hz orbital frequency, and use this to compare model predictions to search results. Assuming all detections are indeed quasi-circular, for our fiducial population model, we place an upper limit for the merger rate density of high-mass binaries with eccentricities 0<e≤0.3 at 0.33 Gpc−3 yr−1 at 90\% confidence level

    Risk of COVID-19 after natural infection or vaccinationResearch in context

    Summary: Background: While vaccines have established utility against COVID-19, phase 3 efficacy studies have generally not comprehensively evaluated protection provided by previous infection or hybrid immunity (previous infection plus vaccination). Individual patient data from US government-supported harmonized vaccine trials provide an unprecedented sample population to address this issue. We characterized the protective efficacy of previous SARS-CoV-2 infection and hybrid immunity against COVID-19 early in the pandemic over three-to six-month follow-up and compared with vaccine-associated protection. Methods: In this post-hoc cross-protocol analysis of the Moderna, AstraZeneca, Janssen, and Novavax COVID-19 vaccine clinical trials, we allocated participants into four groups based on previous-infection status at enrolment and treatment: no previous infection/placebo; previous infection/placebo; no previous infection/vaccine; and previous infection/vaccine. The main outcome was RT-PCR-confirmed COVID-19 >7–15 days (per original protocols) after final study injection. We calculated crude and adjusted efficacy measures. Findings: Previous infection/placebo participants had a 92% decreased risk of future COVID-19 compared to no previous infection/placebo participants (overall hazard ratio [HR] ratio: 0.08; 95% CI: 0.05–0.13). Among single-dose Janssen participants, hybrid immunity conferred greater protection than vaccine alone (HR: 0.03; 95% CI: 0.01–0.10). Too few infections were observed to draw statistical inferences comparing hybrid immunity to vaccine alone for other trials. Vaccination, previous infection, and hybrid immunity all provided near-complete protection against severe disease. Interpretation: Previous infection, any hybrid immunity, and two-dose vaccination all provided substantial protection against symptomatic and severe COVID-19 through the early Delta period. Thus, as a surrogate for natural infection, vaccination remains the safest approach to protection. Funding: National Institutes of Health
