    Pengaruh Penerapan Strategi Pogil terhadap Reduksi Miskonsepsi Siswa pada Konsep Redoks di SMA Negeri 1 Tapa

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan strategi POGIL terhadap reduksi miskonsepsi siswa pada konsep redoks di SMA Negeri 1 Tapa. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 45 orang yang terdiri atas siswa kelas X. Uji miskonsepsi siswa dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes pilihan ganda tiga tingkat (three-tier diagnostic test). Siswa yang teridentifikasi mengalami miskonsepsi dibagi menjadi tiga kategori, yaitu miskonsepsi 1 (MK 1), miskonsepsi 2 (MK 2), miskonsepsi 3 (MK 3), Desain penelitian menggunakan One Group Pretest Posttets Design. Teknik pengumpulan data terdiri dari dokumentasi dan tes penguasaan konsep. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan, adalah hasil uji wilcoxon signed rank test untuk ketiga kelas secara individual berada pada nilai p-value 0,005; 0,005; dan 0,003 dan secara klasikal berada pada nilai p-value 0,001; 0,001; dan 0,001 dengan kriteria p-value<0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan strategi POGIL terhadap reduksi miskonsepsi siswa pada konsep redoks di SMA Negeri 1 Tapa.     Penerapan Metode Pemecahan Masalah secara Heuristik Materi Larutan Penyangga untuk Meningkatkan Keterampilan Metakognisi Siswa Kelas XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan metakognisi siswa materi larutan penyangga melalui metode pemecahan masalah secara heuristik di kelas XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI MIPA 3 SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Data dari penelitian ini diperoleh dari data hasil tes keterampilan metakognisi siswa dan data hasil pengamatan aktivitas guru dan siswa melalui lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan metode pemecahan masalah secara heuristik dapat meningkatkan keterampilan metakognisi siswa. Keterampilan merencanakan (planning skills) dari 69,42% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 86,12% pada siklus II. Keterampilan memantau (monitoring skills) dari 60,58% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 80,96% pada siklus II, sedangkan untuk keterampilan mengevaluasi (evalution skills) dari 51,73% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 75,19% pada siklus II. Aktivitas guru meningkat dari 62,86% pada siklus I menjadi 81,90% pada siklus II. Aktivitas siswa meningkat dari 63,37% pada siklus I menjadi 77,69% pada siklus II

    Analysis of the Implementation of E Learning Strategies in Teaching at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Gorontalo During the Covid-19 Pandemic

    Research has been carried out that aims to analyze e-learning strategies at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNG. The main question in research is how the teaching strategy carried out at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The research method used was mixed method through a sequential explanatory strategy. Data obtained through a survey on students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNG explained by interviews of students and lecturers of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNG. The results showed that most of the teaching at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences UNG was carried out through E-learning teaching. Various E learning teaching strategies have been carried out during the Covid 19 pandemic, including through assignments and discussions, virtual face-to-face, video and audio uploads. Teaching E learning using several platforms including Learning Management System (LMS) such as the Google classroom Edmodo and the SIAT UNG application, teaching is also carried out with social media assistance. Some of the obstacles that have been found during the implementation of E-Learning teaching include: knowledge about the use of the E Learning platform / application, the availability of internet access quotas and internet networks that do not support the teaching process of E-learning. The general conclusion of the implementation of e-learning teaching at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNG, in general, students gave a positive response to teaching E Learning at the Faculty of Mathematics and Science, UNG in the emergency response to Covid-19

    Profile of Elementary School Teachers’ Pedagogic Competence in Implementing Scientific-Based Thematic Learning and Higher-Order Thinking Skills

    The article aimed to identify the profile of elementary school teachers’ pedagogic competence in implementing scientific-based thematic learning and Higher-order thinking skills (HOTS). The qualitative study involved primary data sourced from observation sheets and interviews. The obtained data were analyzed by Miles and Huberman’s method. The results discovered that: 1) the overall pedagogic competence of teachers in SDN 4 State Elementary School in Talaga Jaya, SDN 5 State Elementary School in Limboto, and SDN 19 State Elementary School in Tibawa was in “good” category in the aspect of learning design. 2) The overall pedagogic competence of teachers in SDN 4 State Elementary School in Talaga Jaya and SDN 5 State Elementary School in Limboto was in “good” category in the aspect of learning activities implementation. Meanwhile, teachers in SDN 19 State Elementary School in Tibawa only achieved “adequate” category in this aspect. 3) The overall pedagogic competence of teachers in SDN 4 State Elementary School in Talaga Jaya and SDN 5 State Elementary School in Limboto was in “good” category in the aspect of learning evaluation. Meanwhile, teachers in SDN 19 State Elementary School in Tibawa only achieved “adequate” category in this aspect. Based on the findings, this study recommends that education stakeholders must continue to carry out capacity building for teachers in the form of strengthening the pedagogic competence of teachers based on Multiple Intelligence so that teachers have intellectual, emotional, and spiritual skills as pioneering teachers in supporting the Merdeka Belajar program in elementary school
