On a nonlinear heat equation associated with Dirichlet -- Robin conditions
This paper is devoted to the study of a nonlinear heat equation associated
with Dirichlet-Robin conditions. At first, we use the Faedo -- Galerkin and the
compactness method to prove existence and uniqueness results. Next, we consider
the properties of solutions. We obtain that if the initial condition is bounded
then so is the solution and we also get asymptotic behavior of solutions as.
Finally, we give numerical resultsComment: 20 page
ONLINE LEARNING AND ITS POTENTIAL IN DEVELOPING EFL LEARNER AUTONOMY: ENGLISH-MAJORED STUDENTS' PERCEPTIONS
Learner autonomy is now regarded as a desirable goal in tertiary education as it is found to comply with learner-centered approaches and enable students to pursue life-long learning (Sinclair, 2000a; Ciekanski, 2007). In the time of COVID-19 pandemic, the essential to conduct in-depth investigations into leaner autotomy and online learning has become more urgent, especially in the context of a university in Vietnam. This quantitative research responded to such a pressing call by exploring two aspects: (1) the students’ perception of online learning, and (3) the potentiality of online learning for developing learner autonomy. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires administered to 199 English-majored students in the context of a university in Mekong Delta. The results revealed that the students possessed positive perceptions toward online learning. Furthermore, the potentiality of online learning was explored including the ability of (1) planning learning experience, (2) evaluating learning performance, (3) determining learning goals, (4) self-controlling learning process, (5) taking responsibility for learning decision. Last but not least, this study expected that the proposed pedagogical implications will contribute to the innovation of promoting learner autonomy in online learning in the context of a university in the Mekong Delta of Vietnam. Enhancing light scattering effect of white LEDs with ZnO nanostructures
Pc-LEDs, the lighting method that blends blue LED light with yellow light from phosphor to discharge white radiation, is one of the most advance known for high lumen output. However, pc-LEDs has inferior due to angular CCT deviation, which prevent pc-LEDs from reaching better performance. As a result, this research is conducted to address the need of pc-LEDs development by introducing a configuration doped with ZnO nanoparticles. The finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method and the phosphor layer containing ZnO were applied in the experiments. The effect of ZnO-filled on the performance of color quality pc-LEDs is confirmed through calculated results. In particular, the uniformity of scattered light is improved with the presence of ZnO. In addition, ZnO particles also minimize the deviation of color temperature and enhance the color quality. Although there is a small decline in lumen output to achieve better color temperature uniformity, however, with suitable concentrations such as 0.25% N-ZnO, 0.25% S-ZnO, and 0. 75% R-ZnO, the decline is acceptable. The research on ZnO pc-LEDs demonstrates that this affordable and simple configuration can improve lighting properties and create other directions to enhance white ligh
The regularity and exponential decay of solution for a linear wave equation associated with two-point boundary conditions
This paper is concerned with the existence and the regularity of global
solutions to the linear wave equation associated with two-point type boundary
conditions. We also investigate the decay properties of the global solutions to
this problem by the construction of a suitable Lyapunov functional.Comment: 18 page
The Impact of Corporate Governance on the Quality of Accounting Information: Research Based on Listed Companies on Vietnam's Stock Exchange
Purpose: This research aims to evaluate the impact of corporate governance on the quality of accounting information in listed companies on the Vietnamese stock exchange.
Theoretical framework: Corporate governance focuses on the structure of ownership, the characteristics of director and supervisory boards. The quality of accounting information is evaluated under the perspectives of information users and information auditors.

Findings: The results show that the factors affecting corporate governance that have a proportional impact on the quality of accounting information include: Government ownership, Supervisory Board ownership, major shareholders ownership, number of board members, professional qualifications of the association board of directors, and that have an inverse impact is the duality between the Board of directors and the managing directors, and that have no impact are the number of members in the supervisory Board and professional qualifications of the supervisory board.
Research, Practical & Social implications: From the research results, the authors propose recommendations to improve the quality of accounting information through corporate governance.
Originality/value: The value of the study is pointing out the impact of corporate governance on the quality of accounting information in listed companies on the Vietnamese stock exchange meaningful in creating trust among users to attract investment domestically and internationally
Uloga osobina ličnosti u oblikovanju poduzetničke namjere: Komparativna studija Južne Koreje i Vijetnama
This paper investigates the role of personality traits in nurturing entrepreneurial
intention in South Korea and Vietnam. We developed a research model to examine the
integrated influence of both positive entrepreneurial characteristics and dark triad on
entrepreneurial intention in South Korea and Vietnam. Primary data was collected
from 550 students in South Korea and 700 students in Vietnam using the convenient
sampling method in a self-administered questionnaire survey. We used structural
equation modelling (SEM) to analyse structural relationships between positive
entrepreneurial attributes, dark triads, and entrepreneurial intention in two samples.
T-tests were also performed to explore any differences in students’ entrepreneurial
intention in South Korea and Vietnam regarding their family background and gender.
Findings showed that positive entrepreneurial attributes and dark triads influence
entrepreneurial intention differently in the two countries. While the dark triad mainly
influenced Vietnamese students’ intention to startup, Korean students received more
impact from the positive entrepreneurial characteristics such as risk tolerance, locus
of control, and entrepreneurial alertness. Surprisingly, both gender and family
tradition do not affect students’ entrepreneurial intention. Based on our findings, we
suggested that policymakers and higher education institutions in both South Korea
and Vietnam promote students’ entrepreneurial intentions in the future.Ovaj rad istražuje ulogu osobina ličnosti u njegovanju poduzetničkih namjera u
Južnoj Koreji i Vijetnamu. Razvili smo znanstveni model za ispitivanje integriranog
utjecaja pozitivnih poduzetničkih karakteristika kao i utjecaj mračne trijade na
poduzetničke namjere u Južnoj Koreji i Vijetnamu. Primarni podaci dobiveni
anketiranjem 550 studenata u Južnoj Koreji i 700 studenata u Vijetnamu
prikupljeni su korištenjem prikladne metode uzorkovanja u anketi koju su sami
proveli. Koristili smo modeliranje strukturnim jednadžbama (SEM) za analizu
strukturnih odnosa između pozitivnih poduzetničkih atributa, tamnih trijada i
poduzetničke namjere u dva uzorka. Također su provedeni T-testovi kako bi se
istražile razlike u poduzetničkim namjerama studenata u Južnoj Koreji i Vijetnamu
s obzirom na njihovo obiteljsko porijeklo i spol. Rezultati su pokazali da pozitivne
poduzetničke osobine i mračne trijade različito utječu na poduzetničke namjere u
dvije zemlje.
kreatori politika i visokoškolske ustanove u Južnoj Koreji i Vijetnamu promiču
poduzetničke namjere studenata u budućnosti
Existence, blow-up and exponential decay estimates for a nonlinear wave equation with boundary conditions of two-point type
This paper is devoted to study a nonlinear wave equation with boundary
conditions of two-point type. First, we state two local existence theorems and
under suitable conditions, we prove that any weak solutions with negative
initial energy will blow up in finite time. Next, we give a sufficient
condition to guarantee the global existence and exponential decay of weak
solutions. Finally, we present numerical resultsComment: 2
A Review of Occupational Stress among Certain Jobs in Vietnam
Background: Stress in the modern workplace is globally considered a risk factor for workers’ health and safety. However, a review of the prevalence and associated factors of occupational stress in developing countries like Vietnam was largely lacking. This review aimed to describe the situation of occupational stress among certain jobs from studies carried out in Vietnam. Methods: The review was implemented by using key words to search on online and offline, international and national database. After going through 2 stages of selections, total 25 eligible articles were chosen and used for this review. Results: The results showed the prevalence of occupational stress was varied and ranged from 6.4% to 90.4%. The study population focused on health workers, factory workers, students, academic staff and officers. The prevalence of each occupation ranged from 6.4% to 90.4% in health workers; 20.7% to 89.6% in factory workers; and 22.8% to 68.3% in students. Conclusions: In conclusion, the prevalence of occupational stress was very varied between and within each occupation. Therefore, a new way to develop in enhancing the occupational stress data, particularly in developing countries, is urgently needed
