Analysis of The Ability Student of SMA Al Islam Krian to Understanding Mathematical Concepts in Terms of Learning Styles
This research aims to analyze and describe the ability of students of SMA Al Islam Krian to Understanding Mathematical Concepts in Terms of Student Learning Styles for the 2022/2023academic year on the material of circle equations in terms of learning stylesusing include auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learning styles with a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were tests and interviews, with research instruments in the form of learning-style questionnaires, test questions, and interviews. The results of the study, it was found that from the visual learning style students with high abilities were able to understand mathematical concepts, whereas students with low abilities were not yet able to understand mathematical concepts. Meanwhile, from the auditory learning style, students with high and low abilities are less able to understand mathematical concepts. If from the kinesthetic learning style students with high abilities are less able to understand mathematical concepts, while students with low abilities are not yet able to understand mathematical concepts
Toothbrushing And Dietary Behavior of Children Aged 3–6 Years with Early Childhood Caries in Impoverished Community of Semampir District, Surabaya
Objective: This research aimed to observe tooth brushing and dietary behavior of children aged 3–6
years with early childhood caries (ECC) in impoverished communities, Semampir District, Surabaya City.
Materials and Methods: This was descriptive observational with cross-sectional design study in 50 samples
of mother whom their children diagnosed with ECC. Research instrument using questionnaires based on
caries risk assessment (CRA) which modified. Results: Most samples showed good tooth brushing behavior,
which includes brushing frequency and duration, routines using toothpaste, had tooth brushing initiative and
independently brushing teeth. The majority of samples had poor dietary behavior which includes snacking
habit frequency, time management, fruit and milk consumption. Conclusion: Most children aged 3–6 years
in impoverished communities, Semampir District of Surabaya already had good brushing teeth behavior, but
they had poor diet which explain high prevalence of caries
Variational autoencoder analysis gas sensor array on the preservation process of contaminated mussel shells (Mytilus edulis)
Mussel shells is a macro zoobenthos that lives on soft substrates in the mud (infauna) and is classified as a bivalve. This research detects formalin in mussel shells utilizing an Electronic Nose comprised of gas sensor's array. The samples used were formalin mussel shells with several concentrations from 100Â ppm to 500Â ppm with the addition of 100Â ppm. The research was conducted using six sensors with a sampling time of 120Â s. The output voltage from each sensor is then clustered based on principal component analysis and classified using several techniques, which are support vector machine, decision tree and random forest. We demonstrate that all classifiers have an accuracy of 1. The phenomenon occurs because all feature representations can produce enough information to classify data. Principal component analysis achieves the best score in preserving the local structure. PCA can keep an average of 33% nearest data in the same neighbourhood. While variational autoencoder can keep 14% nearest data in the same neighbour, and autoencoder can keep 8% nearest data in the same area
