    Expanding Protection and Value Promotion of Cultural Routes to Promote Rural Revitalization—A Case Study of Ya’ an Section of the Sichuan-Tibet Ancient Tea-Horse Road

    As a new theory of cultural heritage protection and research, cultural routes emphasize the integrity of culture and pay more attention to the interaction and integration between cultural communities along the route. The Ancient Tea-Horse Road is an important cultural, economic and religious exchange link between the various ethnic groups in the Han and Tibetan two places. As the starting point of the line, Ya ‘an section plays an extremely important role in history. Under the concept and connotation of cultural routes, this paper explores the cultural value of the Ya’an section of the Sichuan-Tibet Tea Horse Ancient Road with the idea of cultural integrity along the line, integrates the cultural elements along the line to form an integrated cultural industry cluster along the line, establishes the tea-horse ancient road cultural route heritage system and the management system of overall coordination and overall protection, deeply excavates the multiple values of the cultural industry along the line, promotes the coordinated development of the line, and empowers the rural revitalization along the line

    Relative Entropy in CFT

    By using Araki's relative entropy, Lieb's convexity and the theory of singular integrals, we compute the mutual information associated with free fermions, and we deduce many results about entropies for chiral CFT's which are embedded into free fermions, and their extensions. Such relative entropies in CFT are here computed explicitly for the first time in a mathematical rigorous way. Our results agree with previous computations by physicists based on heuristic arguments; in addition we uncover a surprising connection with the theory of subfactors, in particular by showing that a certain duality, which is argued to be true on physical grounds, is in fact violated if the global dimension of the conformal net is greater than 1.1.Comment: 31 page

    Preventive Effect of Curcumin Against Chemotherapy-Induced Side-Effects

    Cancer is still a severe threat to the health of people worldwide. Chemotherapy is one of main therapeutic approaches to combat cancer. However, chemotherapy only has a limited success with severe side effects, especially causing damage to normal tissues such as bone marrow, gastrointestine, heart, liver, renal, neuron, and auditory tissues, etc. The side-effects limit clinical outcome of chemotherapy and lower patients’ quality of life, and even make many patients discontinue the chemotherapy. Thus, there is a need to explore effective adjuvant strategies to prevent and reduce the chemotherapy-induced side effects. Naturally occurring products provide a rich source for exploring effective adjuvant agents to prevent and reduce the side effects in anticancer chemotherapy. Curcumin is an active compound from natural plant Curcuma longa L., which is widely used as a coloring and flavoring agent in food industry and a herbal medicine in Asian countries for thousands of years to treat vomiting, headache, diarrhea, etc. Modern pharmacological studies have revealed that curcumin has strong antioxidative, anti-microbial, anti-inflammatory and anticancer activities. Growing evidence shows that curcumin is able to prevent carcinogenesis, sensitize cancer cells to chemotherapy, and protect normal cells from chemotherapy-induced damages. In the present article, we review the preventive effect of curcumin against chemotherapy-induced myelosuppression, gastrointestinal toxicity, cardiotoxicity, hepatotoxicity, nephrotoxicity, neurotoxicity, ototoxicity, and genotoxicity, and discuss its action mechanisms

    Sustainability considerations of green buildings: a detailed overview on current advancements and future considerations

    The concept of green building has gradually formed with the increase in public awareness of environmental protection, which also covers a wide range of elements. The green building is the fundamental platform of sustainable development. This review paper provides solutions for the multi-dimensional and balanced development of green building. Since green building is the development trend of the construction industry, it presents an opportunity to mitigate global warming and accomplish energy efficiency. However, the problem is that the development of green building’s implementation is restricted by the lack of government policies, imperfect technical abilities and unreasonable economic benefits. One conclusion drawn from the results shows that the benefits of green building implementation include environmental, economic, social, and health and safety aspects. Moreover, it is crucial to improve the awareness of stakeholders to promote the development process of green building. The government should launch campaigns to encourage developers and tenants to embrace green building, which can add value to buildings. The novelty of the paper provides a more systematic review on the sustainable considerations of green building than previous efforts in the literature. Bibliometric analysis is conducted through VOS viewer software. This review paperdiscusses the relevant benefits and challenges of green building through a critical review of existing research knowledge related to green building. The current advancements in green building are highlighted in this paper. Importantly, future recommendations for standards and policy formulation and future research directions are proposed in this review article

    Genome-wide analysis for the melatonin trait associated genes and SNPs in dairy goat (Capra hircus) as the molecular breeding markers

    Previous studies have reported that the endogenous melatonin level is positively associated with the quality and yield of milk of cows. In the current study, a total of 34,921 SNPs involving 1,177 genes were identified in dairy goats by using the whole genome resequencing bulked segregant analysis (BSA) analysis. These SNPs have been used to match the melatonin levels of the dairy goats. Among them, 3 SNPs has been identified to significantly correlate with melatonin levels. These 3 SNPs include CC genotype 147316, GG genotype 147379 and CC genotype 1389193 which all locate in the exon regions of ASMT and MT2 genes. Dairy goats with these SNPs have approximately 5-fold-higher melatonin levels in milk and serum than the average melatonin level detected in the current goat population. If the melatonin level impacts the milk production in goats as in cows, the results strongly suggest that these 3 SNPs can serve as the molecular markers to select the goats having the improved milk quality and yield. This is a goal of our future study
