Incidencia de los vídeos y audios digitales multimediales en las competencias lectoras y escritoras

The objective of this research was to determine the incidence of the use of digital videos and audios as multimedia tools in the development of reading and writing skills in the first degree of the Oriental Diversified Educational Institution of the municipality of Santo Tomás, headquarters No. 5 El Carmen School. The sample was non-probabilistic, corresponding to 85 first grade students of primary school. The methodology used corresponds to a quantitative approach, with an explanatory scope, a quasi-experimental design and under a positivist paradigm. For the collection of the information, two techniques were used: the survey and the test, where the family's reading preferences, the use of technological tools in their daily work and the initial and final state of the systematized reading and writing skills were analyzed with instruments of Excel spreadsheets, the SPSS package. The results obtained under the parameters of the descriptive statistics, T Student is used to estimate the average of a group when the sample of the population is small and determine between two sample variances the differences existing in the two courses involved in the work, and thus demonstrate statistically and quantitatively that there was significant progress in the development of reading and writing skills.La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo general, determinar la incidencia de la utilización de los videos y audios digitales como herramientas multimediales en el desarrollo de las competencias lectoras y escritoras en primer grado de la Institución Educativa Diversificada Oriental del municipio de Santo Tomás sede N° 5 Colegio El Carmen. La muestra fue de tipo no probabilístico, correspondiente a 85 estudiantes de primer grado de básica primaria. La metodología utilizada corresponde a un enfoque cuantitativo, con un alcance explicativo, un diseño cuasiexperimental y bajo un paradigma positivista. Para la recolección de la información, se utilizaron dos técnicas la encuesta y el test, donde se analizaron las preferencias lectoras de la familia, la utilización de herramientas tecnológicas en su quehacer cotidiano y el estado inicial y final de las competencias lectoras y escritoras, sistematizados con instrumentos propios de las hojas de cálculos de Excel y el paquete SPSS. Los resultados obtenidos bajo los parámetros de la estadística descriptiva, T Student se usa para estimar la media de un grupo cuando la muestra de la población es pequeña y determinar entre dos varianzas muestrales las diferencias existentes en los dos cursos involucrados en el trabajo, y así demostrar estadística y cuantitativamente que sí hubo avance significativo en el desarrollo de las competencias lectoras y escritoras
