Symptômes psycho-comportementaux de la démence (relations avec la personnalité prémorbide)

Les symptômes comportementaux et psychologiques de la démence (SCPD) font partie intégrante du syndrome démentiel, quelle qu'en soit l'étiologie, puisque qu'ils peuvent toucher près de 90% des patients. Ils alourdissent la prise en charge et aggravent le pronostic fonctionnel. L'étiologie des SCPD reste imprécise et est probablement multifactorielle. A partir de l'observation clinique d'un patient dément, dont la symptomatologie psychiatrique et la personnalité prémorbide nous avaient inspiré cette réflexion, nous avons tenté d'établir une corrélation entre les SCPD et la personnalité prémorbide. Notre étude n'a pas permis d'établir de lien, probablement par manque de puissance statistique. Pourtant la personnalité, stable durant l'ensemble de la vie, se modifie avec la démence. Cette modification se fait dans une certaine continuité et explique certains symptômes, notamment aux stades précoces, selon les études antérieures. Un névrosisme induirait plus de dépression alors qu'une personnalité schizotypique favoriserait les symptômes psychotiques. Aux stades tardifs, la corrélation est moins nette et les symptômes sont plus bruyants (agitation, comportement moteur aberrant, psychose). L'anosognosie qui augmente avec l'évolution de la maladie pourrait expliquer cette différence. Si elle est présente aux stades précoces elle pourrait expliquer la survenue de symptômes inadaptés à l'environnement dès le début de la maladie. Ainsi la personnalité jouerait un rôle indéniable dans la survenue des SCPD mais la symptomatologie dépendrait aussi de la qualité ou de la capacité du patient à percevoir ses troubles.PARIS6-Bibl.Pitié-Salpêtrie (751132101) / SudocPARIS-BIUM (751062103) / SudocSudocFranceF

L'Odyssée (les avatars d'un mythe au cinéma)

Envisagé comme forme, le mythe odyssien révèle une structure fondée sur cinq invariants en interaction. A la lumière de ses avatars filmiques les plus représentatifs (cinq long métrages), nous avons mis en évidence le rôle prépondérant joué par les archétypes dans le schème, ce qui rend pertinent une analyse d'inspiration jungienne. Dans le principal péplum étudié, la diégèse suggère effectivement une lecture psychanalytique. Certains avatars du cinéma d'"auteur" approfondissent cette dimension intérieure en mêlant à la quête identitaire des considérations réflexives et idéologiques. Dans les avatars qui ne se réclament pas d'Homère, la réduction du schème favorise l'amplification des archétypes qui réorientent le mythe vers l'allégorie psychologique de l'individualisation. Les situations dramatique du mythe transcrivent sur la scène fictionnelle les conflits psychiques qui figurent la précarité de l'être et l'angoisse de la mort.As a form, the odyssian myth reveals a structure founded on five interactive invariables. Using what we consider to be its most representative film incarnations (five feature-length motion pictures), we have highlighted the preponderant rôle played in these films by archetypes of the myth, and the consequent pertinence of a jungian-inspirated analysis. The principal peplum studied convincingly suggests the relevance of a psychoanalytical interpretation. Certain incarnations of the myth orginating from the "cinéma d'auteur" reinforce this interior dimension by intermingling the quest for identity with issues of thought and ideology. Setting homeric transcriptions to one side, the distillation of the structure encourages amplification of the archetypes which reorientates the myth towards a psychological allegory of individuation. Reviews and syntheses: The mechanisms underlying carbon storage in soil

International audienceScientific research in the 21st century has considerably improved our knowledge of soil organic matter and its dynamics, particularly under the pressure of the global disruption of the carbon cycle. This paper reviews the processes that control C dynamics in soil, the representation of these processes over time, and their dependence on variations in major biotic and abiotic factors. The most recent advances in soil organic matter knowledge are: – Most organic matter is composed of small molecules, derived from living organisms, without transformation via additional abiotic organic polymerization. – Microbial compounds are predominant in the long term. – Primary belowground production contributes more to organic matter than aboveground inputs. – Contribution of less biodegradable compounds to soil organic matter is low in the long term. – Two major factors determine the soil organic carbon production yield from the initial substrates: the yield of carbon used by microorganisms and the association with minerals, particularly poorly crystallized minerals, which stabilize microbial compounds. – Interactions between plants and microorganisms and between microbial communities affect or even regulate carbon residence times, and therefore carbon stocks. Farming practices therefore affect soil C stocks not only through carbon inputs but also via their effect on microbial and organomineral interactions

Interactive visualization tool with graphic table of video contents

International audienceWe present an interactive visualization, called Table Of Video Contents (TOVC), for browsing structured TV programs such as news, magazines or sports. In these telecasts, getting a good segmentation can be very time-consuming, especially in an annotating context. This visualization, connected with a classical media player, offers a very handy video browser. This system allows a global overview by showing the temporal structure and by giving some semantic information. The drawn structure enables a non linear video access by suggesting relevant frames. The TOVC is created from a graphic framework designed for computing similarities on visual content, and displaying the associated proximities in a 2D map with graph representation. TOVC is one of its first applications and shows interesting capabilities
