Gestió del risc a les empreses de turisme actiu

Aquest article presenta una proposta dels apartats i aspectes que podria contenir un protocol de seguretat per part de les empreses de turisme actiu. Per desenvolupar-lo ens hem basat en la normativa actual vigent, representada pels Reials Decrets pertanyents a tres Comunitats Autònomes: Aragó, Andalusia i Astúries, i complementant la informació amb aspectes desenvolupats als decrets de Catalunya i Galícia. Dintre de la normativa actual en relació al turisme actiu, tres Comunitats Autònomes: Aragó, Andalusia i Astúries, ja estan exigint l’obligació de presentar, per part de les empreses, un protocol d’actuació en cas d’accident; i en el cas d’Aragó i Astúries, l’obligació de presentar-lo, a l’inici de cada temporada, als serveis oficials de Protecció Civil de l’Administració de la Comunitat Autònoma corresponent. El nostre objectiu és realitzar una proposta dels punts generals que podria contenir aquest protocol per tal d’orientar les empreses en la seva elaboració

Gestión empresarial del turismo activo: análisis de oferta

Este artículo presenta una propuesta sobre cómo realizar un estudio de la oferta del turismo activo de una región. Para desarrollarlo lo hemos estructurado en tres apartados: a) Análisis global de los recursos turísticos que ofrece la región. Entendemos que el Turismo Activo es una pieza dentro del engranaje de la oferta turística global de una región y que por tanto hay que tener una visión de conjunto. Este apartado lo hemos denominado: estudio de la competencia de destino; b) Análisis específico de la oferta turística por sectores. Aquí describimos cómo realizar un análisis específico del turismo activo en su marco empresarial siendo un referente que podemos extrapolar al resto de recursos turísticos encontrados. Este apartado corresponde al estudio de la competencia empresarial; c) Fuentes de información a las que puedo acceder para recopilar los datos que me interesen de cara al estudio

Gestión del riesgo en las empresas de turismo activo

Este artículo presenta una propuesta de los apartados y aspectos que podría contener un protocolo de seguridad por parte de las empresas de turismo activo. Nuestro objetivo es realizar una propuesta de los puntos generales que podría contener dicho protocolo con el fin de orientar a las empresas en su elaboración

Aquest article presenta una proposta sobre com realitzar un estudi de l’oferta del turisme actiu d’una regió. Per desenvolupar-lo l’hem estructurat en tres apartats: a) Anàlisi global dels recursos turístics que ofereix la regió. Entenem que el Turisme Actiu és una peça dintre de l’engranatge de l’oferta turística global d’una regió i que, per tant, cal tenir-ne una visió de conjunt. Aquest apartat l’hem anomenat: estudi de la competència de destinació; b) Anàlisi específica de l’oferta turística per sectors. Aquí descrivim com realitzar una anàlisi específica del turisme actiu en el seu marc empresarial; aquest és un referent que podem extrapolar a la resta de recursos turístics trobats. A Protocol Generator Tool for Automatic In-Vitro HPV Robotic Analysis

Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) could develop precancerous lesions and invasive cancer, as it is the main cause of nearly all cases of cervical cancer. There are many strains of HPV and current vaccines can only protect against some of them. This makes the detection and genotyping of HPV a research area of utmost importance. Several biomedical systems can detect HPV in DNA samples; however, most of them do not have a procedure as fast, automatic or precise as it is actually needed in this field. This manuscript presents a novel XML-based hierarchical protocol architecture for biomedical robots to describe each protocol step and execute it sequentially, along with a robust and automatic robotic system for HPV DNA detection capable of processing from 1 to 24 samples simultaneously in a fast (from 45 to 162 min), efficient (100% markers effectiveness) and precise (able to detect 36 different HPV genotypes) way. Sound Recognition System Using Spiking and MLP Neural Networks

In this paper, we explore the capabilities of a sound classification system that combines a Neuromorphic Auditory System for feature extraction and an artificial neural network for classification. Two models of neural network have been used: Multilayer Perceptron Neural Network and Spiking Neural Network. To compare their accuracies, both networks have been developed and trained to recognize pure tones in presence of white noise. The spiking neural network has been implemented in a FPGA device. The neuromorphic auditory system that is used in this work produces a form of representation that is analogous to the spike outputs of the biological cochlea. Both systems are able to distinguish the different sounds even in the presence of white noise. The recognition system based in a spiking neural networks has better accuracy, above 91 %, even when the sound has white noise with the same power.Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad TEC2012-37868-C04-02Junta de Andalucía P12-TIC-130

Palatal perforations secondary to inhaled cocaine abuse: presentation of five cases

The estimated incidence of complications associated with cocaine abuse is 4.8%. Palatal perforation is a very infrequent condition within the range of complications associated with cocaine abuse. No epidemiological cha- racteristics relating to patient age or gender have been established, and the diagnosis of the disorder requires a detailed clinical history, including antecedents of cocaine abuse. The clinical and radiological studies show palatal bone erosion and perforation of the soft or hard palate. The present study describes five cases of palatal perforation secondary to inhaled cocaine abuse. As a result of the increase in cocaine use in recent years, particularly among young adults, clinicians must be alerted to the need to include this condition when establishing a differential diagnosis

Drug-induced oral lichenoid reactions: a literature review

The terms oral lichenoid reactions or oral lichenoid lesions refer to lesions histologically and clinically similar to oral lichen planus, though with the particularity that in these cases the underlying cause is identifiable. In addition, these lesions are described according to the causal factor involved, including alterations resulting from direct contact with dental restoration materials, drug-related lesions, and lesions associated to graft-versus-host disease. Drug-induced oral lichenoid reactions or oral lichenoid lesions were first cited in 1971 by Almeyda and Levantine. Since then, many drug substances have been associated with such lesions. The most common agents are nonsteroidal antiinflammatory drugs and angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors
