    This reseach is aimed at examinig the meaning of Iwan Fals’ live music concert broadcasted by TRANS TV, 4 April 2004. The method of Semiotic Analysis is deployed scrutinizing the live concert. The concert was seen as an integrated text comprising a set of signs amplified by television. The reseach shows that the concert was fully loaded with moral values with regard to, primarily, power, politics, corruption, and performance of parliament members (DPR).     Politics and Culture in Indonesian Cinema

    This study deals with Indonesian cinema. Perspectives of politics and culture employed to provide understanding of how Indonesian cinema from the early period of its development untill the recent times. This study demonstrates that Indonesian cinema could be associated significantly with politics primarily in the 1950s and 1960s when Indonesian cinema had really started to grow. In the period of New Order cinema becomes a manifestation of kitsch pursuing for capital gain. Yet after the fall of the regime significant shifts occur namely no longer have Indonesian cinemas strongly related to politics in their content of messages but the cinemas promote much moore various discoursive contents

    Komunikasi pemasaran sosial merupakan strategi pemasaran Intangibility product yang ditujukan untuk memenuhikebutuhan organisasi non-profit untuk memasarkan ide-idenya agar dapat merubah perilaku individu dansekelompok orang. Kampanye sosial dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan perilaku masyarakat daribermacam-macam isu yang dihadapi oleh sebuah negara. Kegiatan kampanye sosial #iuRUN dibaca (I-U-RUN)saya-kamu-lari merupakan salah satu upaya gerakan Indonesia Mengajar dalam melakukan promosi iuran publiksebagai salah satu pilar pendanaan gerakan sosial ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui danmendeskripsikan strategi komunikasi kampanye sosial #iuRUN dengan pendekatan komunikasi pemasaran sosial.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan strategi studi kasus yang mengambil aktivitas kampanye#iuRUN yang serentak dilakukan di 127 desa, 22 kota besar dan beberapa lokasi di luar negeri yang dilakukan padatanggal 31 Agustus 2014. Data utama diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Temuan penelitianmemberikan gambaran Strategi Komunikasi pemasaran sosial yang dilakukan oleh Indonesia Mengajar padakampanye #iuRUN yang menghubungkan interaksi offline yaitu kegiatan berlari serentak dengan interaksi onlineyaitu media sosial sebagai saluran utama dalam pemasaran sosial yang bertujuan membangun brand awarenessterhadap iuran publik, melalui new media informasi yang berikan lebih luas sehingga diharapkan menjangkausasaran target adopter yang lebih jauh.     Relationship Between Motivation, Competence, Workload, and Nurse Performance, at Dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Hospital, Wonogiri, Indonesia

    Background: Health worker performance is one of the key elements that determine the quality of hospital service. Health worker performance therefore is the target forimprovement. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between motivation, competence, workload of nurses, and nurse performance.Subjects and Method: This was an analytical observational study with cross sectional design. This study was conducted at Dr. Soediran Mangun Sumarso Hospital, Wonogiri, Indonesia. A total of 50 nurses was sampled for this study.The independent variables consisted of motivation, competence, and workload. The dependent variable was performance of nurse. The data were collected by a questionnaire and analyzed by multiple linear regression model.Results: This study did not find relationship between motivation and performance of nurse (b = 0.02; 95% CI=-0.19 to 0.24; p= 0.823). Similarly there was no relationship workload and perfor­mance of nurse (b=0.05; 95% CI= -0.15 to 0.26; p = 0.607). There was a positive and statististically significant relationship between competence and performance of nurse (b = 1.10; 95% CI= 1.75 to 0.46; p= 0.001).Conclusion: There is a positive and statistically significant relationship between competence and performance of nurse.Keywords: motivation, competence, workload, performance, nurseCorrespondence: Agus Sutarto. dr.     Path Analysis on Factors Associated Withthe Incidence of Diarrhea in Infants Aged 6-12 MonthsatKaranganyar Community Health Center,inPurbalingga, Indonesia

    Background: A diarrheal disease is an endemic disease and has outbreak potential in Indonesia. In Indonesia (2012) the number of pain diarrhea on toddler reached 900 per 1,000 inhabitants. This study aimed to determine the factors associated to the incidence of diarrhea in infant aged 6-12 months. Subjects and Method: This was an observational analytic study with cross sectional design. This was conducted in Karanganyar Community Health Center, Purbalingga, Indonesia, in April-Mei 2016. A total of 100 subjects was selected Fixed Disease. The data was using the questionnaire. The data analysis used path analysis.Results: There was a direct correlation between breast feeding, nutritional status, personal hygiene of mothers and infants, and the availability of basic sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea, and statistically significant (b= 2.62; 95% CI= 1.00 to 4.24; p= 0.001), (b= 3.37; 95% CI = 0.61 to 6.12; p=0.017), (b=3.70; 95% CI=2.07 to 5.33; p<0.001), (b=3.00; 95% CI=0.69 to 5.32; p=0.011). There is a positive correlation between indirect breast feeding with the incidence of diarrhea through nutritional status, culture with the incidence of diarrhea through breast feeding, culture with the incidence of diarrhea through the facility's individual mothers and babies, the availability of basic sanitation with diarrhea through individual facility's mothers and babies, statistically significant (b=0.91; 95%CI =-0.28 to2.11;p=0.135), (b=1.83; 95% CI=0.95 to 2.22; p<0.001), (b=1.40; 95% CI=0.46 to 2.25; p=0.003), (b=1.10; 95% CI= -0.10 to 2.22; p=0.076).Conclusion: There is a direct correlation between breast feeding, nutritional status, personal hygiene of mothers and infants, and the availability of basic sanitation with the incidence of diarrhea.     Theory of Planned Behavior on the Psycho-Social Determinants of Drug Use Among Adolescents in Samarinda, East Kalimantan

    Background: Drug abuse is serious global health problem. Drug users aged 10-59 years in Indonesia has been increasing steadily. According to data from National Board for Drug Abuse (Badan Narkotika Nasional, BNN), the prevalence of drug users in East Kalimantan was 59,195 (3.07%) of population aged 10-59 years of 1,930,936 people. This study aimed to investigate the psycho-social determinants of drug use among adolescents in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, using Theory of Planned Behavior.Subjects and Method: This was an analytical observational study with cross-sectional design. The study was carried out at Badan Rehabilitasi Tanah Merah, Samarinda, East Kalimantan, from July to August, 2017. A sample of 150 adolescents were selected for this study by fixed disease sampling, including 50 adolescent drug users, and 100 adolescent non drug users. The dependent variable was drug use. The independent variables were intention, attitude, subjective norm, perceived behavior control, peer group, parenting style, and family harmony. The data were collected by pre-tested questionnaire and analyzed using path analysis.Results: Drug use was directly determined by strong intention (b= 2.18; 95% CI= 1.22 to 3.14; p<0.001), negative attitude (b= 1.79; 95% CI= 0.76 to 2.82; p=0.001), low subjective norm (b= 1.13; 95% CI= 0.09 to 2.17; p= 0.034), and weak perceived behavior control (b= 2.83; 95% CI= 1.48 to 4.19; p<0.001). Intention was determined by weak perceived behavior control (b= 1.18; 95% CI = 0.14 to 2.22; p<0.001). Subjective norm was determined by family harmony (b= 2.03; 95% CI= 0.96 to 3.09; p<0.001), authoritarian parenting style (b= 1.25; 95% CI= 0.15 to 2.36; p=0.026), and peer group (b= 1.46; 95% CI= 0.37 to 2.54; p=0.009).Conclusion: Drug use is directly determined by intention, attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavior control.
