Acoustic and Volumetric Properties of Digoxin and Thiabendazole in 1, 4 Dioxane at 303 K
Acoustical and volumetric properties have been measured for substituted heterocyclic compounds digoxin and thiabendazole in 1, 4 dioxane at 303 K. The ultrasonic velocity measurement have been performed to evaluate acoustical parameter such as adiabatic compressibility (βs), partial molal volume (ɸv), intermolecular free length (Lf), apparent molal compressibility (ɸk), specific acoustic impedance (Z), relative association (RA), salvation number (Sn), limiting apparent molal compressibility (ɸ0k), limiting apparent molal volume(ɸ0v) and their constant (Sk,Sv). The viscosity coefficient (A, B) was evaluated by using john–dole equation. These parameters throw the light on the solute-solvent interaction and solute-solute interaction
PHYTOCHEMICAL AND PHARMACOLOGICAL PROFILE OF BIOPHYTUM SENSITIVUM (L) DC
Biophytum sensitivum (L.) DC (Family: Oxalidaceae) is a medicinal plant widely used in the treatment of various health aliments throughout the world. The plant extract showed the presence of flavonoids, saponins, tannins, terpenes, steroids, amino acids, essential oil, polysaccharides and pectin. The plant has been extensively studied by various researchers for its biological activities and therapeutic potentials such as analgesic, anti-pyretic, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, antitumor, antidiabetic, antioxidant, antibacterial, antihypertensive, chemoprotective, radioprotective and antifertility. The present review is an effort to provide detailed information on folkloric uses, chemical compositions, pharmacological activities of the extracts and isolated compounds and safety profile of Biophytum sensitivum for further research studies
Transition detection in body movement activities for wearable ECG
It has been shown by Pawar (2007) that the motion artifacts induced by body movement activity (BMA) in a single-lead wearable electrocardiogram (ECG) signal recorder, while monitoring an ambulatory patient, can be detected and removed by using a principal component analysis (PCA)-based classification technique. However, this requires the ECG signal to be temporally segmented so that each segment comprises of artifacts due to a single type of body movement activity. In this paper, we propose a simple, recursively updated PCA-based technique to detect transitions wherever the type of body movement is changed
VIBRATION ANALYSIS OF PUMP WI TH VFD TECHNOLOGY
A Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) regulates the speed of a 3-phase AC electric motor by controlling the frequency and voltage of the power it delivers to the motor. Today, these devices (also known as Adjustable Speed Drives or Variable Speed Drives) are becoming prevalent in a wide range of applications throughout industry, from motion control applications to Cooling Towers, from water treatment facilities to machining areas, and many others. Considering the Economical and Environmental factors, it is advisable to modify the existing system rather than replacing it with new one. This project exercises this concept of vibration control in order to obtain smooth running by soft water pump and cooling tower pump
Packet Classification based on Boundary Cutting analysis by using Bloom Filters
Packet classification has received a great deal of attention over the half decade in applications such as Quality of Service (QoS), security, firewalls, Network Intrusion Detection System (NIDS), multimedia services, differentiated services. They perform different operations at different flows. Existing decision-tree-based packet classification algorithms, HiCuts and HyperCuts perform search by geometrical representation of rules in a classifier by searching for a geometric space to which packet belongs. These decision tree algorithms have complications in finding number of cuts and the field. Also fixed interval-based cutting not covers the actual space for each rule. Hence it is ineffective and requires huge storage requirement. In recent years, Bloom Filter, which is space-efficient and probabilistic data structure for membership queries, becomes popular in many network applications. It requires small amount of memory and used to avoid lookups to sustain high throughput. It handles the large database and provides security in network applications like NIDS. This paper presents a boundary cutting (BC) scenario which exploits the structure of classifiers. It finds out the space that each rule covers and perform cutting according to rule boundary. Hence it is deterministic, and more effective in providing improved search performance and efficient in memory requirement. Security roles are also considered during classification.

A Study on Sex Composition of Tribal Population in Nashik District, Maharashtra
The age and the sex structure of the population are the most important demographic characteristics that are captured by a census of a population. Age and sex are two attributes that largely influence an individual’s role in society. An attempt will be made in this paper to examine the various aspects of age and sex composition of the tribal population of Nashik District using data collected from the censuses. Sex and age are the basic characteristics or the biological attributes, of any demographic group and affect not only its demographic but also its social, economic and political structure, for they influence birth and death rate, internal and international migration, marital status composition, manpower, the gross national product, planning regarding educational and medical services and housing etc. This point may be further established with illustrations. From the sex-age distribution of any population, estimates of school-age population may be made and on that basis, one may arrive at an estimate of the number of educational institutions, teachers, playgrounds, textbooks, etc., which will be needed. Similarly, estimates of the number of voters, entrants in the labour force, etc., may also be made. Even in the field of social welfare, the planning of social services for instance, for mothers and children, for the aged, etc. has to be based on the sex-age distribution of the population. This type of data is also required before any promotional campaigns can be carried out in certain parts of the country, with a view to determining the needs of consumers in quantitative terms
