Carleson measures, Riemann-Stieltjes and multiplication operators on a general family of function spaces
Let be a nonnegative Borel measure on the unit disk of the complex
plane. We characterize those measures such that the general family of
spaces of analytic functions, , which contain many classical function
spaces, including the Bloch space, and the spaces, are embedded
boundedly or compactly into the tent-type spaces . The
results are applied to characterize boundedness and compactness of
Riemann-Stieltjes operators and multiplication operators on .Comment: 26 page
Schatten classes of integration operators on Dirichlet spaces
We address the question of describing the membership to Schatten-Von Neumann
ideals of integration operators acting on Dirichlet type spaces.
We also study this problem for multiplication, Hankel and Toeplitz operators.
In particular, we provide an extension of Luecking's result on Toeplitz
operators.Comment: Accepted for publication in Journal d' Analyse Mathem\'atique, (2012
Technology Shocks and Aggregate Fluctuations: How Well Does the RBS Model Fit Postwar U.S. Data?
Our answer: not so well. We reach that conclusion after reviewing recent research on the role of technology as a source of economic fluctuations. The bulk of the evidence suggests a limited role for aggregate technology shocks, pointing instead to demand factors as the main force behind the strong positive comovement between output and labor input measures.
A remark on Schatten class Toeplitz operators on Bergman spaces
We provide a new characterization (valid for all ) of Schatten class membership of Toeplitz operators induced by positive measures acting on weighted Bergman spaces on the unit ball. The result is new even for the case of the unit disk
