Parallel arrays of Josephson junctions for submillimeter local oscillators

In this paper we discuss the influence of the DC biasing circuit on operation of parallel biased quasioptical Josephson junction oscillator arrays. Because of nonuniform distribution of the DC biasing current along the length of the bias lines, there is a nonuniform distribution of magnetic flux in superconducting loops connecting every two junctions of the array. These DC self-field effects determine the state of the array. We present analysis and time-domain numerical simulations of these states for four biasing configurations. We find conditions for the in-phase states with maximum power output. We compare arrays with small and large inductances and determine the low inductance limit for nearly-in-phase array operation. We show how arrays can be steered in H-plane using the externally applied DC magnetic field

Quantum correlations and classical resonances in an open chaotic system

We show that the autocorrelation of quantum spectra of an open chaotic system is well described by the classical Ruelle-Pollicott resonances of the associated chaotic strange repeller. This correspondence is demonstrated utilizing microwave experiments on 2-D n-disk billiard geometries, by determination of the wave-vector autocorrelation C(\kappa) from the experimental quantum spectra S_{21}(k). The correspondence is also established via "numerical experiments" that simulate S_{21}(k) and C(\kappa) using periodic orbit calculations of the quantum and classical resonances. Semiclassical arguments that relate quantum and classical correlation functions in terms of fluctuations of the density of states and correlations of particle density are also examined and support the experimental results. Tunneling Proximity Resonances: Interplay between Symmetry and Dissipation

We report the first observation of bound-state proximity resonances in coupled dielectric resonators. The proximity resonances arise from the combined action of symmetry and dissipation. We argue that the large ratio between the widths is a distinctive signature of the multidimensional nature of the system. Our experiments shed light on the properties of 2D tunneling in the presence of a dissipative environment.Comment: Five pages, plain RevTeX; five encapsulated PostScript figures. KAJIAN TEOLOGIS TERHADAP HUKUM ADAT DELIK NEDOSA (PERKARA SUMBANG-PERKAWINAN DENGAN SAUDARA DEKAT) DI KEPULAUAN SANGIHE TALAUD

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui arti Delik Nedosa (perkara sumbang), pandangan Alkitab tentang Delik Nedosa, perkawinan yang dilarang Tuhan. Hal ini dianalisis secara hermeneutik. Hal yang hendak dicapai adalah apakah hukum adat Delik Nedosa benar atau salah dikaji dari sudut pandang teologi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan kepustakaan. Dalam hal ini, peneliti memfokuskan penelitian pada pengkajian literatur. Tetapi penulis juga melakukan wawancara kepada salah seorang tua-tua kampung dan juga salah seorang tua-tua adat Kepulauan Sangihe Talaud. Dikaji dari sudut pandang teologi tentang Delik Nedosa, ada bagian yang sependapat, ada yang tidak sependapat. Alkitab setuju bahwa tidak boleh saudara kandung (kakak beradik sungguh) atau yang disebut inses melakukan perkawinan. Tetapi Alkitab tidak setujuh bahwa saudara sepupu, cucu bersaudara, cece bersaudara, sampai keturunan ke 7, dan sama vam (marga) tidak boleh melakukan perkawinan, karena di Alkitab dengan jelas menunjukan itu diperbolehkan. Ishak dan Yakub buktinya di Alkitab bahwa Allah tidak melarang perkawinan dengan saudara dekat, justru Allah yang memberi perintah mencarikan isteri bagi Ishak dari sanak saudara – kalangan keluarga sendiri dan Allah memberkati perkawinan itu. Ishak kawin dengan keponakannya sendiri (masih satu vam/marga), Yakub kawin dengan saudara sepupunya sendiri (masih satu vam/marga). Perkawinan yang dilarang Allah sebenarnya jelas tertulis dalam Alkitab yaitu Inses, Perkawinan Sesama Jenis, Perkawinan dengan Binatan

PUEBI Update Socialization And Explanation For Elementary School Teachers in Magetan

The objectives of this Community Service are (1) to actively participate in improving the competence of teachers in Magetan Regency Elementary Schools; (2) Improving knowledge and mastery of Indonesian spelling based on Permendiknbud no. 50 of 2015 an elementary school teacher in Magetan Regency. (3) Improving the knowledge and skills of Indonesian elementary school teachers, Magetan Regency; (4) Improving the knowledge and writing skills of teachers at the Magetan Regency Elementary School. The specific targets to be achieved in this PKM are (1) increasing teachers' understanding of Indonesian Spelling based on Permendikbud No 50 of 2015; (2) Improving the knowledge and ability of teachers in writing scientific papers. Community service on the socialization of Indonesian Spelling based on Permendikbud No 50 of 2015 is based on an analysis of the situation that elementary school teachers in Magetan Regency still need to understand Indonesian Spelling material. The latest PUEBI socialization based on Permendiknas Number 50 of 20115 is the mastery of the Indonesian language, especially the latest Indonesian spelling. This Community Service activity has the following output targets. (1) Increased knowledge and linguistic insight of teachers to further increase the success of the teaching and learning process in the places where they teach (2) Increase the ability of teachers to write scientific papers in order to improve their careers
