Abstract Background and Aim: Methane is one of the gaseous materials with high potential of damage. Today, it is widely used in process, chemical industries and human environments. This study thus aimed to predict the emissions and the probable effects of liquid methane using ALOHA software in order to perform appropriate safety measures and consequently to reduce the plausible adverse effects. Materials and Methods: Considering the results of HAZOP studies, the worst case scenario was chosen and, using ALOHA software, possible methane gas leak scenarios from the reservoir were modeled. During the study, all the moral standards were observed. Results: Based on the results obtained, gas concentrations of liquid methane would reach 400000 ppm in a distance of 39 meters around the reservoir, which is in the range of PAC-3 demonstrating risk of death threatening the lives of surrounding people. In the event of a full leakage of 238 meters around the reservoir, the methane gas concentration is predicted to be 50000 ppm, which is equivalent to the low explosive charge (LEL) of methane gas. Wave pressure of vapor cloud caused by methane leaks exceeds 1 psi in a distance of 270 meters. Conclusion: The consequences of methane toxicity in the studied refinery are one of the most serious threats to the personnel. Therefore, preparing a reaction plan for emergency conditions will have an effective role in limiting the harmful effects of the toxic and dangerous materials emissions. BACKGROUND AND AIM: Teeth are always faced with different traumas and all those traumas, which cause teeth to exit their sockets, are classified as avulsion. Avulsion most commonly occurs in 7-11 year olds. If sports tutors have enough information regarding replantation, they could play a significant role in prognosis of treatment. The purpose of this study was to assess physical education teachers’ level of knowledge regarding avulsion of teeth in Tehran’s Primary Schools, Iran, in 2012. METHODS: This was a cross-sectional study which used a questionnaire consisting three parts including 21 questions. The first part was about demographic information; the second part was about traumatic lesion to tooth and the third part was about process of avulsed teeth protection. The questionnaire was completed by a random sample of volunteer sports tutors in Tehran Primary Schools. Collected data were analyzed using the SPSS software using the chi-square test. RESULTS: About 160 subjects participated, 67.1% of the tutors had mid-level knowledge regarding the second part of the questionnaire, and 64.1% had a low level of knowledge regarding the third part. In relation to the second and third part of the questionnaire, a statistically significant relationship was observed between the age of the tutors and their level of information (P < 0.050). There was also a significant relationship between the level of information about the third section of the survey and the amount of experience the tutors had about avulsion (P < 0.050). CONCLUSION: The results indicate a low level of knowledge in sports tutors in dealing with avulsed teeth and suitable media for transferring the teeth. Suitable educational programs for these tutors could be very useful in enhancing their knowledge and pertaining traumatized teeth.      Background: Accumulating evidence indicates that inflammatory cells migrate into the pancreas tissue and play an important role in the pathogenesis of acute pancreatitis (AP). The aim of this study was to establish a flow cytometric method to enumerate these infiltrating cells in the pancreas of an experimental AP.Materials and Methods: Twelve hours after inducing of AP, mice pancreatic tissues were cut into small fragments and single cells were prepared by mechanical dissociation. The isolated cells were stained with either anti-mouse CD45-PerCP or isotype antibody and analyzed by flow cytometry. Using side scatter (SSC)/CD45 gating we were able to identify inflammatory cells from non-inflammatory cells. Results: The mean percentage of leukocytes was 5.9±1.6 in the control group whereas, it was 26.7±8.1 in the AP. Moreover, we found that the percentage of lymphocytes, monocytes and granulocytes were 1.1±0.2, 0.9±.04 and 2.9±1.8 of total pancreatic cells, respectively, in the control mice. In contrast to lymphocytes, the percentage of monocytes and granulocytes were significantly increased in the AP group and it was 3±1.3 and 18.2±3.2 for monocytes and granulocytes, respectively. Conclusion: Quantitative flow cytometric analysis is feasible and provides a reliable and rapid assay to determine the number and percentage of inflammatory cells in experimental AP

A Comparative Review of the Interpretation of the Verse of Ulel- Amr in Al-Mizan and Al-Minar Commentaries

The present paper seeks to compare Al- Minar Commentary by 'Abduh and Al-Mizan Commentary by Allamah Tabatabaii in terms of their interpretation of the verse 59 in Chapter 4 (Al-Nisa'- The Women), known as the verse of "Ulel-Amr". For Tabatabaii, the referents of Ulel-Amr are infallible Imams, who should be obeyed unconditionally and absolutely as the Holy Prophet, which proves their infallibility. He believes that the repetition of the imperative verb "Obey" indicates the difference in the domain of obedience not emphasis, and the pronoun "you" in verse which says "then if you quarrel about anything" refers not to Ulel-Amr but to Muslims. In Al-Minar, Abduh accepts the command of absolute obedience to the Holy Prophet and Ulel-Amr, necessitated by their infallibility. However, he believes that the instances of Ulel-Amr are people of hal and 'Aqd (those whose opinions are what count) whose consensus is correct. Rashid Reza, however, does not regard such a consensus as infallible, as he believes that the pronoun "you" refers to Ulel-Amr as well. The paper compares aforementioned commentaries to extracts several mistakes taken by Abduh in Al-Minar, and resolves the doubts he cast on Shia interpretations
