Systematics of Anti magnetic rotation in even-even Cd isotopes
The lifetimes for the high spin levels of the yrast band of Cd has
been measured. The estimated B(E2) values decrease with increase in angular
momentum. This is the characteristic of Anti magnetic rotation as reported in
Cd. However, alignment behavior of Cd is completely
different from its even-even neighbors. A model based on classical particle
plus rotor has been used to explore the underlying systematics and develop a

Re-appearance of the pairing correlations at finite temperature
Rotational and deformation dependence of isovector and isoscalar pairing
correlations at finite temperature are studied in an exactly solvable cranked
deformed shell model Hamiltonian. It is shown that isovector pairing
correlations, as expected, decrease with increasing deformation and the
isoscalar pairing correlations remain constant at temperature, T=0. However, it
is observed that at finite temperature both isovector and isoscalar pairing
correlations are enhanced with increasing deformation, which contradict the
mean-field predictions. It is also demonstrated that the pair correlations,
which are quenched at T=0 and high rotational frequency re-appear at finite
temperature. The changes in the individual multipole pairing fields as a
function of rotation and deformation are analyzed in detail.Comment: 16 pages 6 figure
Antimagnetic rotation and sudden change of electric quadrupole transition strength in 143Eu
Lifetimes of the states in the quadrupole structure in 143Eu have been
measured using the Doppler shift attenuation method as well as parity of the
states in the sequence has been firmly identified from polarization measurement
using the Indian National Gamma Array. The decreasing trends of the deduced
quadrupole transition strength B(E2) with spin, along with increasing J (2)
/B(E2) values before band crossing, conclusively establish the origin of these
states as arising out of antimagnetic rotation. The abrupt increase in the
B(E2) values after the band crossing in the quadrupole band, a novel feature
observed in the present experiment, may indicates the crossing of different
shears configurations resulting in re-opening of shears structure. The results
are well reproduced by numerical calculation within the framework of

Pelayuan Daun Pada Padi Lokal Sulut Saat Kekeringan
Kekeringan merupakan faktor pembatas utama pada pertumbuhan dan perkembangan tanaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengamati skor kelayuan pada padi lokal Sulawesi Utara yang diberi cekaman kekeringan. Penelitian dilaksanakan di rumah kaca di Kelurahan Tingkulu, Manadao, Sulawesi Utara dari bulan April sampai Mei 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 varietas (Superwin, Ombong, Temo dan Burungan) yang diberikan 2 perlakuan pengairan dan 7 ulangan. Kedua perlakuan pengairan adalah diairi sampai kapasitas lapang dan tidak diairi selama 20 hari pada fase vegetatif tanaman. Skor kelayuan daun (1-9) dapat diamati dan ditentukan berdasarkan System of Standar Evaluation, IRRI. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kekeringan akan memicu pelayuan daun karena menurunnya potensial air di daun.Drought is a major limiting factor for plant growth and development. Leaf wilting in plant could indicate the drought stress. The objective of this experiment was to identify the leaf wilting score of North Sulawesi local rice cultivars as response to drought. The experiment was conducted in the glasshouse in April to May 2015 at Tingkulu, Manado, North Sulawesi. The experiment was a completely randomized design (CRD) of 4 cultivars (Superwin, Temo, Ombong and Burungan) grown in 2 water regimes, with 1 sampling times and 7 replicates. The two water regimes were well-watered (WW) and water deficit (WD) obtained by withholding water for 20 days at the vegetative phase. Leaf wilting score (1-9) could be visually determined based on the System of Standar Evaluation in rice by IRRI.
