The problem of modeling public services based on architectural and planning decisions is considered, the role of traffic in the formation of a model of city services is analyzed. An integrated criterion for the quality of public services is proposed. A method has been developed for determining segmented public services taking into account the transport areas of the city, which will make it possible to evenly disperse public service centers. The basis is a socio-planning organization, as a material-spatial system containing anthropogenic and natural components – the territory and institutions where the functional processes that take place in the urban planning environment take place. The described model has certain versatility, and is simultaneously suitable for characterizing various categories of service institutions. Thus, the task of optimizing the quality of public services in the city is reduced to a mathematical model for which, by setting the basic design criteria, the optimal result can be obtained. On the basis of a questionnaire survey and analysis of statistical data, calculation of traffic intensity, the demand and supply of the level of public services фre studied. The structural elements of this model: population, territory, transport and service institutions, are in dialectical interaction, which is described by the mathematical model in this study. The model is based on the calculation of the minimum population in the service area, which allows to have i-th type establishments using the social potential method, as well as a graph-analytical method in determining the optimal location of service institutions in the city.As a result of the research, a conceptual model of public services for cities is built, a layout of supermarkets in the territory of Uzhhorod and distribution of service areas of these institutions is proposed. This optimization will ensure uniform domestic servicing of the territory, optimal performance indicators of service establishments and minimum average service radii of points

Development of a Model of the Service System of Batch Arrivals in the Passengers Flow of Public Transport

A mathematical model of the queuing system for the passenger flow of urban public transport is proposed. The resulting model differs from canonical models of queuing theory by taking into account the fundamental features of real systems. Firstly, the service process is divided into different successive service sessions. Secondly, arrival and departures are batch. Thirdly, the arrival rates vary in different service sessions. Fourthly, the laws of distribution of the number of jobs in batch arrivals for different sessions are different. Fifth, the laws of distribution of the number of batch arrivals and departures are also different.A criterion of efficiency of the service system is developed. The criterion is based on the calculation of the probability distribution of the service system states at the input and similar distribution at the output. These distributions are determined independently for each service session, into which the entire service cycle is divided. The numerical value of the criterion is set by the ratio of the average number of service rejections to the average number of jobs in the batch arrival for the entire service cycle. It can be used to assess the efficiency of the service system at any selected time interval during the day, because the value of the proposed criterion depends on the length of the interval between sessions, determined by the number of vehicles on the route. The resulting models adequately reflect the functioning of the system, which makes it possible to predict many different situations and evaluate the consequences of proposed solutions. Thus, it becomes possible to predict the provision of the population with public transport and determine quantitative values of efficiency of the urban public transport syste

Development of a Comprehensive Approach to Determining the Rational Parameters of an Onboard Capacitive Energy Accumulator for a Subway Train

One of the essential, yet insufficiently studied, issues related to the implementation of onboard capacitive energy accumulators in the subway is determining their rational parameters (power and energy intensity). We have analyzed existing methods and approaches to choosing the parameters for onboard capacitive energy accumulators. Disadvantages for each method and approach have been defined. We have substantiated the need to devise an approach that would make it possible to fully account for the factors influencing actual conditions of a subway train operation. Existing methods and approaches to selecting rational parameters have deficiencies and do not take into consideration the factors of real operating conditions of a subway train. This paper has proposed a comprehensive approach that takes into account the specified factors of influence and makes it possible to choose rational parameters for an onboard capacitive energy accumulator based on two indicators: the weight and cost of an accumulation system. We have determined the rational parameters for an onboard capacitive energy accumulator for the predefined operating conditions of a subway train using a comprehensive approach. The amount of saved electric power due to the implementation of an onboard accumulator with rational parameters has been calculated. The research results could be used when designing, constructing, and introducing the subway rolling stock with an onboard capacitive energy accumulator, as well as during an expert estimation of the amount of energy save
