Masses and decay modes of charmonia using a confinement model

The masses of charmonium s and p-states, pseudoscalar and vector decay constants, leptonic, hadronic as well as radiative decay widths for charmonia have been computed in the framework of extended harmonic confinement model without any additional parameters. Exploring Convolutional Networks for End-to-End Visual Servoing

Present image based visual servoing approaches rely on extracting hand crafted visual features from an image. Choosing the right set of features is important as it directly affects the performance of any approach. Motivated by recent breakthroughs in performance of data driven methods on recognition and localization tasks, we aim to learn visual feature representations suitable for servoing tasks in unstructured and unknown environments. In this paper, we present an end-to-end learning based approach for visual servoing in diverse scenes where the knowledge of camera parameters and scene geometry is not available a priori. This is achieved by training a convolutional neural network over color images with synchronised camera poses. Through experiments performed in simulation and on a quadrotor, we demonstrate the efficacy and robustness of our approach for a wide range of camera poses in both indoor as well as outdoor environments.Comment: IEEE ICRA 201

Graduates' perception towards their English education : a case study

Namun kajian terbaru telah membuktikan bahawa graduan Malaysia kekurangan kemahiran berkomunikasi dalam Ballasa Inggeris di temp at kerja. Soret-Dufour, radiation and hall effects on unsteady mhd flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past an inclined plate embedded in porous medium

A study is presented with Soret-Dufour, Hall and radiation effects on unsteady MHD flow of a viscous incompressible fluid past an inclined porous plate immersed in porous medium. The governing equations of non-dimensional forms of flow field were solved numerically using Crank-Nicolson implicit finite difference method. The results are obtained for velocity, temperature and concentration. Multiquark states as di-hadronic molecules

Multiquark systems such as tetraquarks, pentaquarks and hexaquarks states are studied as di-hadronic molecules in a nonrelativistic model. The masses of several di-hadronic states using a molecular interaction provided by asymptotic expression of the confined gluon exchange potential are computed. The exotic states such as f$_0$ (0.982), f$_2$ (1.565), f$_2$ (1.950), X(3.87), D$_{sJ}$ (2.317, 2.460, 2.632), $\psi$(4.040) etc are identified as the low lying di-mesonic states, and $\Theta^+$ (1.54) as a $K-N$ molecular state.Comment: 4 pages, Presented in the Fifth International Conference on Perspectives in Hadronic Physics, ICTP, Trieste, Italy, May 200

Oculodentodigital Dysplasia: A Case Report and Major Review of the Eye and Ocular Adnexa Features of 295 Reported Cases

Oculodentodigital dysplasia (ODDD) is a rare genetic disorder associated with a characteristic craniofacial profile with variable dental, limb, eye, and ocular adnexa abnormalities. We performed an extensive literature review to highlight key eye features in patients with ODDD and report a new case of a female patient with a heterozygous missense GJA1 mutation (c.65G\u3eA, p.G22E) and clinical features consistent with the condition. Our patient presented with multiple congenital anomalies including syndactyly, microphthalmia, microcornea, retrognathia, and a small nose with hypoplastic alae and prominent columella; in addition, an omphalocele defect was present, which has not been reported in previous cases. A systematic review of the published cases to date revealed 91 literature reports of 295 individuals with ODDD. There were 73 different GJA1 mutations associated with these cases, of which the most common were the following missense mutations: c.605G\u3eA (p.R202H) (11%), c.389T\u3eC (p.I130T) (10%), and c.119C\u3eT (p.A40V) (10%). Mutations most commonly affect the extracellular-1 and cytoplasmic-1 domains of connexin-43 (gene product of GJA1), predominately manifesting in microphthalmia and microcornea. The syndrome appears with an approximately equal sex ratio. The most common eye features reported among all mutations were microcornea, microphthalmia, short palpebral fissures, and glaucoma
