Lagrangian formulation for noncommutative nonlinear systems
In this work we use the well known formalism developed by Faddeev and Jackiw
to introduce noncommutativity within two nonlinear systems, the SU(2) Skyrme
and O(3) nonlinear sigma models. The final result is the Lagrangian
formulations for the noncommutative versions of both models. The possibility of
obtaining different noncommutative versions for these nonlinear systems is
demonstrated.Comment: 8 pages. Revex 4.

Interference Phenomenon for the Faddeevian Regularization of 2D Chiral Fermionic Determinants
The classification of the regularization ambiguity of 2D fermionic
determinant in three different classes according to the number of second-class
constraints, including the new faddeevian regularization, is examined and
extended. We found a new and important result that the faddeevian class, with
three second-class constraints, possess a free continuous one parameter family
of elements. The criterion of unitarity restricts the parameter to the same
range found earlier by Jackiw and Rajaraman for the two-constraints class. We
studied the restriction imposed by the interference of right-left modes of the
chiral Schwinger model () using Stone's soldering formalism. The
interference effects between right and left movers, producing the massive
vectorial photon, are shown to constrain the regularization parameter to belong
to the four-constraints class which is the only non-ambiguous class with a
unique regularization parameter.Comment: 15 pages, Revtex. Final version to be published in Phys. Rev.
Clan structure analysis and new physics signals in pp collisions at LHC
The study of possible new physics signals in global event properties in pp
collisions in full phase space and in rapidity intervals accessible at LHC is
presented. The main characteristic is the presence of an elbow structure in
final charged particle MD's in addition to the shoulder observed at lower c.m.

Phase transition in the 3-D massive Gross-Neveu model
We consider the 3-dimensional massive Gross-Neveu model at finite temperature
as an effective theory for strong interactions. Using the Matsubara imaginary
time formalism, we derive a closed form for the renormalized -dependent
four-point function. This gives a singularity, suggesting a phase transition.
Considering the free energy we obtain the -dependent mass, which goes to
zero for some temperature. These results lead us to the conclusion that there
is a second-order phase transition.Comment: 06 pages, 02 figures, LATE

Questions and Remarks About Clans in Multiparticle Dynamics
The fact that several important effects in multiparticle dynamics, on which
QCD has not yet satisfactory predictions, have been interpreted in terms of the
validity of negative binomial (Pascal) regularity and related clan properties
at the level of simpler substructures, raises intriguing questions on clan
properties in all classes of collisions, the main one being whether clans are
observable objects or merely a mathematical concept. We approach this problem
by studying clan masses and rapidity distributions in each substructure for
e+e- annihilation and hh collisions, and find that such properties can indeed
characterise the different components. These results support the idea that
clans could be observable, a challenging problem for future experiments.Comment: 11 pages; 3 figures; latex 2e and amsmat
Self dual models and mass generation in planar field theory
We analyse in three space-time dimensions, the connection between abelian
self dual vector doublets and their counterparts containing both an explicit
mass and a topological mass. Their correspondence is established in the
lagrangian formalism using an operator approach as well as a path integral
approach. A canonical hamiltonian analysis is presented, which also shows the
equivalence with the lagrangian formalism. The implications of our results for
bosonisation in three dimensions are discussed.Comment: 15 pages,Revtex, No figures; several changes; revised version to
