Does the Corporate Director Have a Duty Always to Obey the Law?
The experiment of ionospheric tomographic reconstruction using satellite beacon TEC data from two or more adjacent GRBR observation stations following equatorial latitude and longitude have been conducted on campaign-based observation in Sumedang, Pameungpeuk and Indramayu West Java on 2016 and 2017. The reconstruction technique utilized is a simple algebraic reconstruction technique (ART). The result obtained is the ionosphere electron density distribution along the longitude of 108 degrees East over the area of West Java and Indonesia. The ionosphere electron density parameters obtained from the IRI-2012 Model were used as the initiation to construct ionospheric tomographic reconstruction. The validation performed by correlating foF2 from the ionospheric tomographic reconstruction with foF2 obtained from ionosonde observation at Sumedang station, one of the GRBR observation sites shows that corresponded to the correlation coefficient value of 0.8665, with a bias frequency of 1.386 MHz, whereas the correlation with the maximum electron density value obtained from the IRI-2016 model gives a correlation coefficient value of 0.8958. a bias frequency of 1.386 MHz, whereas the correlation with the maximum electron density value obtained from the IRI-2016 model gives a correlation coefficient value of 0.8958.
Fiscal year 1981 US corn and soybeans pilot preliminary experiment plan, phase 1
A draft of the preliminary experiment plan for the foreign commodity production forecasting project fiscal year 1981 is presented. This draft plan includes: definition of the phase 1 and 2 U.S. pilot objectives; the proposed experiment design to evaluate crop calendar, area estimation, and area aggregation components for corn and soybean technologies using 1978/1979 crop-year data; a description of individual sensitivity evaluations of the baseline corn and soybean segment classification procedure; and technology and data assessment in support of the corn and soybean estimation technology for use in the U.S. central corn belt
Portable dynamic fundus instrument
A portable diagnostic image analysis instrument is disclosed for retinal funduscopy in which an eye fundus image is optically processed by a lens system to a charge coupled device (CCD) which produces recordable and viewable output data and is simultaneously viewable on an electronic view finder. The fundus image is processed to develop a representation of the vessel or vessels from the output data

Advanced stratified charge rotary aircraft engine design study
A technology base of new developments which offered potential benefits to a general aviation engine was compiled and ranked. Using design approaches selected from the ranked list, conceptual design studies were performed of an advanced and a highly advanced engine sized to provide 186/250 shaft Kw/HP under cruise conditions at 7620/25,000 m/ft altitude. These are turbocharged, direct-injected stratified charge engines intended for commercial introduction in the early 1990's. The engine descriptive data includes tables, curves, and drawings depicting configuration, performance, weights and sizes, heat rejection, ignition and fuel injection system descriptions, maintenance requirements, and scaling data for varying power. An engine-airframe integration study of the resulting engines in advanced airframes was performed on a comparative basis with current production type engines. The results show airplane performance, costs, noise & installation factors. The rotary-engined airplanes display substantial improvements over the baseline, including 30 to 35% lower fuel usage

A Catalog of the Highest-energy Cosmic Rays Recorded during Phase I of Operation of the Pierre Auger Observatory
A catalog containing details of the highest-energy cosmic rays recorded through the detection of extensive air showers at the Pierre Auger Observatory is presented with the aim of opening the data to detailed examination. Descriptions of the 100 showers created by the highest-energy particles recorded between 2004 January 1 and 2020 December 31 are given for cosmic rays that have energies in the range 78-166 EeV. Details are also given on a further nine very energetic events that have been used in the calibration procedure adopted to determine the energy of each primary. A sky plot of the arrival directions of the most energetic particles is shown. No interpretations of the data are offered

Silicone optical elements for cost-effective freeform solar concentration
The use of silicone optical elements is demonstrated for a concentrated photovoltaic system. These components show over 96% transmission through most of the solar spectrum and excellent temperature stability. Unique moldability enables the use of complex freeform designs. A light, compact, and cost-effective concentrated photovoltaic system based on silicone optics is proposed. In this system, air-plasma treatment is utilized to overcome the mechanical properties of silicone and difficulties with coating to reduce Fresnel loss. Lens arrays and waveguides are fabricated by injection molding following freeform optical design by LightTools. First-order characterizations are also performed.
