    Abstract. Programmable and active networks allow specified classes of users to deploy dynamic network services adapted to data streams requirements. Currently most of researches performed on active networks are conducted in research laboratories. In this paper, we explore the design of IAN 2 an Industrial Autonomic Network Node able to be deployed in industrial context.
