Even and odd symplectic and K\"ahlerian structures on projective superspaces
Supergeneralization of \DC P(N) provided by even and odd K\"ahlerian
structures from Hamiltonian reduction are construct.Operator which
used in Batalin-- Vilkovisky quantization formalism and mechanics which are
bi-Hamiltonian under corresponding even and odd Poisson brackets are
considered.Comment: 19 page
D=(0|2) Dirac--Maxwell--Einstein Theory as a Way for Describing Supersymmetric Quartions
Drawing an analogy with the Dirac theory of fermions interacting with
electromagnetic and gravitational field we write down supersymmetric equations
of motion and construct a superfield action for particles with spin 1/4 and 3/4
(quartions), where the role of quartion momentum in effective
(2+1)--dimensional space-time is played by an abelian gauge superfield
propagating in a basic two-dimensional Grassmann-odd space with a cosmological
constant showing itself as the quartion mass. So, the (0|2) (0 even and 2 odd)
dimensional model of quartions interacting with the gauge and gravitational
field manifests itself as an effective (2+1)-dimensional supersymmetric theory
of free quartions.Comment: 16 pages, LaTeX, report DFPD/93/TH/4
Gaussian modeling and Schmidt modes of SPDS biphoton states
A double-Gaussian model and the Schmidt modes are found for the biphoton wave
function characterizing spontaneous parametric down-conversion with the
degenerate collinear phase-matching of the type I and with a pulsed pump. The
obtained results are valid for all durations of the pump pulses, short, long
and intermediately long
Carrier drift velocity and edge magnetoplasmons in graphene
We investigate electron dynamics at the graphene edge by studying the
propagation of collective edge magnetoplasmon (EMP) excitations. By timing the
travel of narrow wave-packets on picosecond time scales around exfoliated
samples, we find chiral propagation with low attenuation at a velocity which is
quantized on Hall plateaus. We extract the carrier drift contribution from the
EMP propagation and find it to be slightly less than the Fermi velocity, as
expected for an abrupt edge. We also extract the characteristic length for
Coulomb interaction at the edge and find it to be smaller than for soft,
depletion edge systems.Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures of main text and 6 pages, 6 figures of

Cylindrically symmetric solitons in Einstein-Yang-Mills theory
Recently new Einstein-Yang-Mills (EYM) soliton solutions were presented which
describe superconducting strings with Kasner asymptotic (hep-th/0610183). Here
we study the static cylindrically symmetric SU(2) EYM system in more detail.
The ansatz for the gauge field corresponds to superposition of the azimuthal
and the longitudinal components of the color magnetic field. We
derive sum rules relating data on the symmetry axis to asymptotic data and show
that generic asymptotic structure of regular solutions is Kasner. Solutions
starting with vacuum data on the axis generically are divergent. Regular
solutions correspond to some bifurcation manifold in the space of parameters
which has the low-energy limiting point corresponding to string solutions in
flat space (with the divergent total energy) and the high-curvature point where
gravity is crucial. Some analytical results are presented for the low energy
limit, and numerical bifurcation curves are constructed in the gravitating
case. Depending on the parameters, the solution looks like a straight string or
a pair of straight and circular strings. The existence of such non-linear
superposition of two strings becomes possible due to self-interaction terms in
the Yang-Mills action which suppress contribution of the circular string near
the polar axis.Comment: 21 pages, 11 figure
Towards a Complete Twistorization of the Heterotic String
In and 10 space--time dimensions considered is a string model
invariant under transformations of space--time supersymmetry and
local worldsheet supersymmetry with the both Virasoro constraints solved in the
twistor form. The twistor solution survives in a modified form even in the
presence of the heterotic fermions.Comment: 11 pages, latex, report no. Goteborg-ITP-94-1
