Abstract-At present, the natural non-endemic geochemical anomalies impacts on biota are not studied enough. The purpose of this work was to study effects of the natural geochemical anomaly with high content of nickel, cobalt and chrome on animals. The anomalous environment accounts for low abundance of small mammals, changes in the interior weight characteristics, alterations in the adrenal cortex structure, and reproductive function modifications. Natural anomalies serve as a factor of the additional functional load upon reproductive and endocrine systems

    Lambda-inflation and CMB anisotropy

We explore a broad class of three-parameter inflationary models, called the Λ\Lambda-inflation, and its observational predictions: high abundance of cosmic gravitational waves consistent with the Harrison-Zel'dovich spectrum of primordial cosmological perturbations, the non-power-law wing-like spectrum of matter density perturbations, high efficiency of these models to meet current observational tests, and others. We show that a parity contribution of the gravitational waves and adiabatic density perturbations into the large-scale temperature anisotropy, T/S 1\sim 1, is a common feature of Λ\Lambda-inflation; the maximum values of T/S (basically not larger than 10) are reached in models where (i) the local spectrum shape of density perturbations is flat or slightly red (nS<1n_S{}_\sim^< 1), and (ii) the residual potential energy of the inflaton is near the GUT scale (V01/41016GeVV_0^{{1/4}} \sim 10^{16} GeV). The conditions to find large T/S in the paradigm of cosmic inflation and the relationship of T/S to the ratio of the power spectra, rr, and to the inflationary γ\gamma and Hubble parameters, are discussed. We argue that a simple estimate, T/S3r12γ(H6×1013GeV)2\simeq 3r\simeq 12\gamma \simeq (\frac{H}{6\times 10^{13}{\rm GeV}})^2, is true for most known inflationary solutions and allows to relate straightforwardly the important parameters of observational and physical cosmology.Comment: 29 pages, 3 figures include

Review of scientific topics for Millimetron space observatory

This paper describes outstanding issues in astrophysics and cosmology that can be solved by astronomical observations in a broad spectral range from far infrared to millimeter wavelengths. The discussed problems related to the formation of stars and planets, galaxies and the interstellar medium, studies of black holes and the development of the cosmological model can be addressed by the planned space observatory Millimetron (the "Spectr-M" project) equipped with a cooled 10-m mirror. Millimetron can operate both as a single-dish telescope and as a part of a space-ground interferometer with very long baseline.Comment: The translation of the original article in Physics Uspekhi http://ufn.ru/ru/articles/2014/12/c

The interaction of dark matter cusp with the baryon component in disk galaxies

In this paper we examine the effect of the formation and evolution of the disk galaxy on the distribution of dark halo matter. We have made simulations of isolated dark matter (DM) halo and two component (DM + baryons). N-body technique was used for stellar and DM particles and TVD MUSCL scheme for gas-dynamic simulations. The simulations include the processes of star formation, stellar feedback, heating and cooling of the interstellar medium. The results of numerical experiments with high spatial resolution let us to conclude in two main findings. First, accounting of star formation and supernova feedback resolves the so-called problem of cusp in distribution of dark matter predicted by cosmological simulations. Second, the interaction of dark matter with dynamic substructures of stellar and gaseous galactic disk (e.g., spiral waves, bar) has an impact on the shape of the dark halo. In particular, the in-plane distribution of dark matter is more symmetric in runs, where the baryonic component was taken into account.Comment: 7 pages, 6 figure

Observational Manifestations of the First Protogalaxies in the 21 cm Line

The absorption properties of the first low-mass protogalaxies (mini-halos) forming at high redshifts in the 21-cm line of atomic hydrogen are considered. The absorption properties of these protogalaxies are shown to depend strongly on both their mass and evolutionary status. The optical depths in the line reach \sim0.1-0.2 for small impact parameters of the line of sight. When a protogalaxy being compressed, the influence of gas accretion can be seen manifested in a non-monotonic frequency dependence of the optical depth. The absorption characteristics in the 21-cm line are determined by the thermal and dynamical evolution of the gas in protogalaxies. Since the theoretical line width in the observer's reference frame is 1-6 kHz and the expected separation between lines 8.4 kHz, the lines from low mass protogalaxies can be resolved using ongoing and future low frequency interferometers.Comment: 12 pages, 5 figure

Introduction. The large fragment of DNA polymerase I from Geobacillus stearothermophilus GIM1.543 (Bst DNA polymerase) possesses 5'-3' DNA polymerase activity, 5'-3' displacement activity and high processivity. These properties make it possible to use Bst DNA polymerase in loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP), which provides highly specific amplification of the target sequence and is used for rapid detection of agents causing human infectious diseases. The purpose of the study was to produce a recombinant Bst polymerase enzyme in the bacterial expression system and to assess its properties for LAMP-based diagnostics of infectious diseases. Materials and methods. Expression constructs carrying the Bst polymerase gene were obtained using genetic engineering techniques. Different Escherichia coli strains were used for protein expression. Metal-chelate and gel filtration chromatography techniques were used for protein purification. Catalytic characteristics of the enzyme were assessed in loop-mediated isothermal amplification reactions using AmpliSens SARS-CoV-2-IT, AmpliSens IAV-IT and AmpliSens IBV-IT diagnostic systems designed for high-quality detection of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A virus (IAV) and influenza B virus (IBV) RNA, respectively. Results. The offered protocol for production, extraction and purification of recombinant Bst polymerase makes it possible to produce the enzyme in the bacterial expression system using E. coli cells in a soluble form and reaching the yield up to 20% of the total cell mass. In LAMP reactions, the obtained enzyme demonstrates activity comparable with that of the commercial enzyme Bst 2.0 (NEB). Conclusion. Considering the fast purification and production of the enzyme, the obtained recombinant Bst polymerase can be used in LAMP-based diagnostic kits
