Βουβρωστισ (Hom.,Il. 24,531 ff.) Die entwicklung einer wortbedeutung
The word βούβρωστις is problematic. In Horn., Il. 24, 532 it meant a goddess "who devours the cattle". The starting point of this concept is the idea that cattle might be stolen at any time, and the owner, not understanding it, interprets the disappearance as a malign act of such a goddess. As the result of a complex development, the word βούβρωστις has later taken on the meaning of "ravenous hunger"
Zu Livius IV 56, 13 (Textkritik)
The codex V(eronensis) indicates that after the word magistratuumque one word is missing. The sense of the sentence and the space which is free in V suggest that the word aditorum ought to be inserted. No disponible

Die psychologischen motive für die Entstehung der Oidipus-Gestalt
It seems that the motif of the πότνια-πάρεδρος relation in the myth of a totally anthropologically conceived hero was transferred by the projection of subconscious incest-wishes. As neurotics could find themselves subconsciously in the figure of Oedipus, therefore also neurotic symptoms have been ascribed to this hero.No disponible
Die Vorstellung der Griechen von einem 'Αφροδίσιος ορκος (Hes., Frg. 124)
In the Greek myth there is the story of Zeus himself swearing a false oath in order to deny his sexual intercourse with Io. Therefore the gods did not punish perjury in erotics (in love-matters). - The present paper tries to explore the background and motives underlying this opinion
Das Stiersprung-Fresko aus Knossos und der Sarkophag von Hagia Triada
The background-color blue on the Bull-Leaping-Fresco (as well as on the Sarcophagus from Hagia Triada) stands for the night-time. At a clear full-moon-night or during dawn and during dusk the action of leaping is very difficult, but certainly possible, especially in the mind of the painter
Zu Euripides, Alkestis 1153
Regarding Eur., Alk. 1153 there are three variants (δόμον, ὀδόν, πόδα) in the manuscripts; a conjecture (γ’ ὀδόν) presented here which follows the text of the manuscripts very closely, seems to solve the problem. No disponible
