© Author(s).The article dwells upon the methodological and technological aspects of the project to develop a framework of qualifications of the Ural region, which concerned with some of the features of the procedure of doing research, as well as the development of diagnostic tools. The work presents the methods of the processing of data collected during the interviews with educational institutions in order to build "an educational qualification net", namely the determination of the adequacy of the choice of the selected descriptors, the correctness of their formulation and the clarification of the contents; the determination of correlating between the importance of assessment of training results according to selected descriptors and the completeness of their formation in educational institutions of different educational levels; the identification of the views of experts on the quality characteristics of training results in educational levels, in accordance with the selected descriptors. The obtained experience in the course of the project implementation, according to the authors, can be useful in conducting similar studies to improve the national qualification systems

Controlling the topological sector of magnetic solitons in exfoliated Cr1/3_{1/3}NbS2_2 crystals

We investigate manifestations of topological order in monoaxial helimagnet Cr1/3_{1/3}NbS2_2 by performing transport measurements on ultra-thin crystals. Upon sweeping the magnetic field perpendicularly to the helical axis, crystals thicker than one helix pitch (48 nm) but much thinner than the magnetic domain size (\sim1 μ\mum) are found to exhibit sharp and hysteretic resistance jumps. We show that these phenomena originate from transitions between topological sectors with different number of magnetic solitons. This is confirmed by measurements on crystals thinner than 48 nm --in which the topological sector cannot change-- that do not exhibit any jump or hysteresis. Our results show the ability to deterministically control the topological sector of finite-size Cr1/3_{1/3}NbS2_2 and to detect inter-sector transitions by transport measurements.Comment: 7 pages, 8 figure

(E)-2-(hydroxystyryl)-3-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-ones: Synthesis, photochemical and luminescent properties

The new (E)-2-(hydroxyarilethenyl)-3-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-ones with various substituents in phenyl fragment were synthesized. The effect of electron donor and acceptor substituents (±M) in quinazolinones on luminescence intensity and dual emission in 550-650-nm wavelength range was shown. The fact of the reversible photo/thermal E-Z isomerization for several substances was established. The (E)-2-(5-chloro-2-hydroxystyryl)-3-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-one had shown the best combination of photochemical (E-Z isomerization) and photophysical properties. The (E)-2-(2-hydroxy-5-morpholinostyryl)-3-phenylquinazolin-4(3H)-one had revealed the best ESIPT-luminescence (Φrel = 5.3 %). © Arkat.
