Nanocarbons And Quantum Dots Formation In New Hybrid Materials
We present technique of obtaining complex hybrid structures combining the multi-walled carbon nanotubes or multi-layer graphene and luminescent hydrophobic semiconductor core/shell quantum dots CdSe/ZnS. As a result, a formation of quantum dot decorated carbon nanotubes and graphene films is evidenced by 2D microluminescence and micro-Raman mapping of quantum dots and nanocarbons, respectively, where a spatial correlation between the luminescence and Raman signals is found. Fragmentation and Multifragmentation of 10.6A GeV Gold Nuclei
We present the results of a study performed on the interactions of 10.6A GeV
gold nuclei in nuclear emulsions. In a minimum bias sample of 1311 interac-
tions, 5260 helium nuclei and 2622 heavy fragments were observed as Au projec-
tile fragments. The experimental data are analyzed with particular emphasis of
target separation interactions in emulsions and study of criticalexponents.
Multiplicity distributions of the fast-moving projectile fragments are inves-
tigated. Charged fragment moments, conditional moments as well as two and three
-body asymmetries of the fast moving projectile particles are determined in
terms of the total charge remaining bound in the multiply charged projectile
fragments. Some differences in the average yields of helium nuclei and heavier
fragments are observed, which may be attributed to a target effect. However,
two and three-body asymmetries and conditional moments indicate that the
breakup mechanism of the projectile seems to be independent of target mass. We
looked for evidence of critical point observable in finite nuclei by study the
resulting charged fragments distributions. We have obtained the values for the
critical exponents gamma, beta and tau and compare our results with those at
lower energy experiment (1.0A GeV data). The values suggest that a phase
transition like behavior, is observed.Comment: latex, revtex, 28 pages, 12 figures, 3tables, submitted to Europysics

Evaluation of development prospects of renewable energy source for Russia
The main mechanisms for supporting renewable energy sources (RES) in the wholesale electricity and capacity market, in the retail market and in isolated power systems have been studied. The article analyzes the ecological, social and economic effects of the development of renewable energy in the territory of Russia. Based on official information, the authors gave a quantitative assessment of the effects: Increasing export earnings, reducing environmental costs, creating jobs, etc. An integral effect was assessed for the Russian economy from the development of RES, including various levels of budgets and extra-budgetary funds in the form of duties, taxes and insurance contributions. During the analysis of the development of renewable energy in the territory of Russia, the authors identified the main effects of its use and proposed methods for quantifying the effects determined. The obtained results, like the methodological approaches described in the article, can be used at the federal and regional levels in the development of state support mechanisms for renewable energy, while carrying out technical and economic calculations for projects and programs in the field of renewable resources and energy sources. Aim. Transanal endoscopic microsurgery (TEM) is a main treatment technique for rectal adenomas, but can also be used for selected malignantΒ tumors. This study presents TEM experience.Methods. The study enrolled patients with rectal adenomas, and selected adenocarcinomas.Β Preoperative work-up included: digital rectal examination, rectoscopy with biopsy, colonoscopy, EUS, pelvic MRI.Results. Three hundred andΒ thirty patients [mean age of 61,4Β±10 (33β88)] underwent TEM. The mean size Β± SD of tumors was 3.2Β±1.2 cm (0.6β10.0). Mean distance fromΒ anal verge was 6.7Β±2.6 cm (2.0β14.0). Preoperative biopsy revealed: adenoma β 263/330 (79,7%), adenocarcinoma β 67/330 (20,3%). TheΒ median operating time was 40 (15β220) min. Tumor-free margins were obtained in all operative specimens. In 5/330 (1.5%) cases tumors wereΒ fragmented. The morbidity rate was 19/330 (5.7%). Pathological investigation revealed: adenoma in 192/330 (58.1%) cases, adenocarcinomaΒ stage Tis, T1, T2 and T3 in 138/330 (41.9%). Median follow-up lasted for 24 (1β57) months. Five patients (2.0%) with adenoma and four patientsΒ (5.2%) with adenocarcinoma had local recurrence.Conclusion. How to solve water shortage problem by means of renewable power generation?
The article is devoted to one of the global humanity problems-increasing drinking water shortage. The authors analyzed statistic data of Russian federal districts and emphasized the most problem regions. The authors proposed an innovative technology of renewable power sources as a way of water supply increasing; they analyzed perspectives of renewable power engineering in Russia according to solution of a fresh water shortage problem. Development of renewable power engineering was considered as one of the ways of water supply increasing. On the basis of the research the authors formulated an economic-mathematical model. The model assessed a capacity of a water condensing combined wind driven electric plant (WDEP) under the various weather conditions-An average temperature and humidity of the air. According to the model a perspective water output under the conditions of Republic of Crimea was foreseen. The authors came to the conclusion that a combined WDEP could be used for water supply in the further-flung regions, for agriculture, production and fire extinguishment. Β© 2018, Econjournals.
