INTEGRATION OF AN INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY ON INFORMATION AND EDUCATION ENVIRONMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTION

The authors of article analyze the concepts associated with the processes of integration of software for the learning. The article contains ways of the integration institutional repository into educational environment of the universities. Authors are describing the experience of integration of DSpace system with the popular learning tools such as CMS Joomla!, LMS Moodle, UFD «Library». Integration of the specified tools is possible at the level of content and unification of access for users. EXPERIENCE OF THE INTEGRATION OF CLOUD SERVICES GOOGLE APPS INTO INFORMATION AND EDUCATIONAL SPACE OF HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

INSTITUTIONAL REPOSITORY: EMPLOYMENT IN EDUCATION

The article investigated the concept of «institutional repository» and determined the aspects of institutional repositories in higher education. Institutional Repositories are information systems that allow preserving, storing and disseminating scientific knowledge produced in higher education and scientific research institutions. ПРОЕКТУВАННЯ МОДЕЛІ ХМАРНОЇ ІНФРАСТРУКТУРИ ВНЗ НА ОСНОВІ ПЛАТФОРМИ APACHE CLOUDSTACK

У статті розглянуто поняття, пов'язані з застосуванням хмарних технологій у навчальному процесі. Запропоновано модель хмарної інфраструктури вищого навчального закладу. Сформульовано концептуальні положення її проектування, які стосуються змістово-методичних та технологічних вимог. Обґрунтовано доцільність розгортання складених мереж у хмарній інфраструктурі, а також застосування гібридної моделі розгортання хмарних технологій. Описано досвід розгортання корпоративної хмари на основі платформи CloudStack. Наведено схему організації фізичних складників хмарної інфраструктури (гіпервізори, фізичні та віртуальні мережі, маршрутизатори, контролер домена, VPN-сервер)

IMPLEMENTATION OF CLOUD COMPUTING AS A COMPONENT OF THE UNIVERSITY IT INFRASTRUCTURE

The article investigated the concept of IT infrastructure of higher educational institution. The article described models of deploying of cloud technologies in IT infrastructure. The hybrid model is most recent for higher educational institution. The unified authentication is an important component of IT infrastructure. The author suggests the public (Google Apps, Office 365) and private (Cloudstack, Eucalyptus, OpenStack) cloud platforms to deploying in IT infrastructure of higher educational institution. Open source platform for organizing enterprise clouds were analyzed by the author. MASSIVE OPEN ONLINE COURSES AS A STAGE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF E-LEARNING

The paper aims to trace back the history of e-Learning which encompasses the advent of m-Learning, the emergence of Smart University, massive open online courses (MOOCs) and cloud technologies. Special attention is given to the study of MOOCs phenomena. The article highlights characteristic features of two main types of MOOC: cMOOC and xMOOC in particular. The comparison of the MOOCs and traditional learning limitations and shortcomings, the statistic data regarding the MOOC platforms and students’ enrolment, the analysis of differences between traditional distance courses and MOOCs, the main problems of MOOCs are considered in the paper

Обґрунтування конструктивних параметрів елементів рамної конструкції транспортної системи канатного механізму для завантаження штучними вантажами малих складських приміщень

Технологічні процеси завантаження штучними вантажами малих складських приміщень, такими як, яблука, картопля або іншими фруктами чи овочами потребують забезпечення високої продуктивності та мінімізації ступеня їх пошкодження в процесі переміщення до зони вивантаження, які не повинні перевищувати допустимі норми або бути взагалі відсутніми. В роботі наведено теоретичне обґрунтування меж раціональних конструктивних параметрів рамної конструкції для розміщення штучних вантажів, а також підпружинених важелів з роликами та їх розташування, які взаємодіють з внутрішньою поверхнею направляючих канатів розробленої транспортної системи. Встановлені межі раціональних кутових положень важелів та їх пружин підтискання до похилих боковин для правої та лівої сторін рухомих елементів рамної конструкції відносно центральної вертикальної осі, а також кута розташування направляючих канатів до горизонту. При виборі конструктивних параметрів і положення розташування важелів з роликами та пружин стискання, в першу чергу, необхідно орієнтуватися на компонувальну схему транспортної системи канатного механізму, а саме кута α розташування канатів до горизонту. При виборі початкової довжини пружини lsp необхідно орієнтуватися на отримані графічні залежності, а також передбачити регулювання її довжини за допомогою інших механізмів. Кут нахилу боковин γ до осі OY варто вибирати близьким γ = 30, оскільки його таке значення є конструктивно раціональним, а відхилення від нього в різні сторони в межах +\- 5 суттєво не впливає на шукані величини. На основі отриманих результатів розрахунків і рекомендацій стосовно вибору параметрів запропонованих технічних рішень виготовлено канатний механізм для завантаження малих складських приміщень штучними вантажами та проведено попередні експериментальні дослідження.The article provides a theoretical substantiation of the structural parameters of the frame structure for the placement of piece loads, as well as clamping levers with rollers and their arrangement, which interact with the inner surface of the guide ropes of the developed transport system. The established limits of rational parameters and angular positions of levers and their compression springs to the inclined sidewalls for the right and left sides of the movable elements of the frame structure relative to the central vertical axis, as well as the angle of the guide ropes to the horizon. On the basis of the results of calculations and recommendations for the choice of parameters of the proposed technical solutions, a rope mechanism for storing piece loadings into small warehouses was manufactured and preliminary experimental studies were carried out
