Introduction. The article describes a new method of improving erectile function by incerting long-acting subcutaneous implants with the phosphodiesterase 5 (PDE 5) inhibitor. The aim of the study: To evaluate the effectiveness of tadalafil in the treatment of erectile dysfunction using bioidentical pellets. Materials and methods: The study included 10 men under 65 years of age who had suffered from erectile dysfunction for more than 1 year. For the examination before and 4 months after the intervention, the following were performed: filling out the MIEF-5 questionnaire, phical examination, Doppler of penile vessels, «Erection Hardness Scale», laboratory examination (general and biochemical blood tests, general urine analysis and hormonal testing, including determination of the levels of total testosterone, free testosterone, prolactin, estradiol and dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate. All patients received implants with bioidentical tadalafil 75 mg. The pellet was inserted in a sterile operating room through a 3 mm skin incision in the outer quadrant of the gluteal region and inserting the substance into the subcutaneous fat. Results: All patients showed an improvement in MIEF-5 from 14.7 ± 2.75 to 20.7 ± 1.49, an increase in systolic blood flow velocity and penile rigidity at the tenth minute after prostaglandin E1 injection on Doppler vascular examination. Conclusion: This study demonstrated the efficacy of tadalafil by pellet administration in the treatment of erectile dysfunction in men younger than 65 years

The Art of Director, Screenwriter, and Actor Martin Scorsese as an Author's Cinematography Model

Martin Scorsese is an outstanding contemporary director, who strongly influenced the artistic and aesthetic foundations of American (authors' in particular) cinematography of the 19th–20th centuries He was and remains one of the outstanding creators who shaped the aesthetics of the “New Hollywood” cinematography. In the period from 1917 to the early 1960s, there was a paradigm of “classic Hollywood”, in which films were produced according to the dominant aesthetic, genre and narrative formulas, the characters represented themselves as specific typical images with understandable motivations for the general public. Martin Scorsese is a representative of cinematography, who changed classical views of film art. That is why the study of Martin Scorsese's work remains relevant for researchers in the field of cinematography and culture to the present day. The purpose of this work is to study the creativity of director, screenwriter and actor Martin Scorsese, as well as to identify the author's style in the artist's work, determine his author's handwriting and manner. The methodology of this research is based on theoretical methods of scientific knowledge, in particular, the method of information analysis and synthesis, the cultural method, as well as historical and comparative methods were used

Multilayer design of crN/MoN superhard protective coatings and their characterisation

Multilayer CrN/MoN transition metal nitride coatings were studied in this research. Films were deposited by vacuum arc deposition (Arc-PVD) from Cr and Mo cathodes in nitrogen atmosphere p = 0.4 Pa. Three series of samples with different values of negative bias voltage (−20, −150, and −300 V) applied to the surface were fabricated. Each series has samples with 11, 22, 44, 88, 180 and 354 layers while total thickness was maintained with the same value. Samples were studied by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) on cross-sections and coatings surface, energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD), high-resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), micro-indentation. Two main cubic phases of γ-Mo N and cubic CrN were detected. It was observed that the crystal growth orientation changes while the negative bias voltage of the substrate decreases. The maximum values of hardness (38–42 GPa) among the studied samples were obtained for coatings with a minimal individual layer thickness of 20 nm deposited at U = −20 V.
