Sonal Appliance an innovative space maintainer in management of early loss of first permanent molar: A Rare Case Report
Introduction: In preventative and interventional dentistry, keeping deciduous teeth until their natural exfoliation is critical. An early tooth or group of teeth loss might have a variety of effects. The first molar is the largest tooth in the mouth, it carries the most occlusal stress, and it affects the vertical distance between the mandible and the maxilla. Adolescent patients who have lost a permanent first molar (PFM) require early space maintenance. Case report: In this case report a successful use of modified distal shoe appliance was made in a patient whose 1st permanent molar was lost before the eruption of 2nd permanent molar. In circumstances when the permanent first molar is lost before the emergence of the permanent mandibular second molar, a unique device is described in this publication. The distal extension of a normal distal shoe appliance was extended distally along with a fixed bilateral appliance, a modified band and loop, and other components in this design. Conclusion: For individuals with bilateral molar loss, a modified distal shoe appliance is a promising option
DENTAL MANAGEMENT OF CHILD WITH HORNER SYNDROME: A CASE REPORT
Aim: The purpose of the case report was to highlight the various features of Horner syndrome to aid in diagnosing this syndrome, which has classic clinical features like miosis, ptosis, and anhidrosis, along with poor oral hygiene and carious teeth. Background: Francois Pourfour du Petit originally defined the disease in 1727 when discussing the outcomes of an animal experiment in which intercostal nerves were removed, and the ipsilateral eye and face were the subsequent subjects of modifications. Claude Bernard, a French physiologist, provided a more detailed description of it in 1852 Case report: Thus, to highlight the features of Horner syndrome, we are presenting a case report of a 6-year-old female child who reported to the department with a chief complaint of pain in the lower correct back teeth region. There was no significant prenatal or postnatal history. Article visualizations
Exploring state-of-the-art advances in targeted nanomedicines for managing acute and chronic inflammatory lung diseases
Diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases pose serious challenges. Currently, diagnostic as well as therapeutic methods show poor efficacy toward drug-resistant bacterial infections, while chemotherapy causes toxicity and nonspecific delivery of drugs. Advanced treatment methods that cure lung-related diseases, by enabling drug bioavailability via nasal passages during mucosal formation, which interferes with drug penetration to targeted sites, are in demand. Nanotechnology confers several advantages. Currently, different nanoparticles, or their combinations, are being used to enhance targeted drug delivery. Nanomedicine, a combination of nanoparticles and therapeutic agents, that delivers drugs to targeted sites increases the bioavailability of drugs at these sites. Thus, nanotechnology is superior to conventional chemotherapeutic strategies. Here, the authors review the latest advancements in nanomedicine-based drug-delivery methods for managing acute and chronic inflammatory lung diseases
The Study of How Electronics can Contribute In Swachh Bharat Abhiyan - Government of India Initiatives
In the present scenario, with the increase in population, the garbage dumped by people is also increasing tremendously. It is ifficult to manage such large amount of garbage daily. It may cause unhygienic environment around us and this would create the health issues. The Government of India has taken various initiative steps to create awareness among the masses for keeping the area surrounding them neat and clean. To achieve the target of cleanliness, the role of electronic technologies is very important. With the help of electronic technologies we can help in Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan. In this paper the realistic implementation of the smart garbage management system are proposed. In the proposed system, the garbage in the dustbin is sensed by the ultrasonic sensor. It will detect the level of garbage and aurdino communicate with GSM which sends message to authorized phone number. We have used GSM module, Ultrasonic sensor and Aurdino for implementation. Aurdino software is used for coding purpose
