Features olympiad movement at the department of obstetrics and gynecology
The article considers the stages of the Olympiad movement at the Department of obstetrics and gynecology. Notes the important role of the Olympic games in learning and formation of personality of future doctors through informal improvement of theoretical and practical skills. The value of simulation training residents in obstetric-gynecological profile
At the Department of obstetrics and gynecology, FGBOU VO the USMU Ministry of health of Russia residents work practical skills at the beginning of the school year and only after certification simulation course are admitted to practice in the structural unit of medical institutions. The ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome for invitro fertilisation programs
Research objective: to estimate the prognostic value of risk factors of development of the ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHS) for invitro fertiTisation (IVF) programs. Authors carry out the retrospective analysis of risk factors of development of OHS in 156 women have undergone IVF. Patients have been divided into four groups depending on OHS severity (control group - 50 persons, 2nd - 50 with mild OHS, 3rd - 50 with medium severity and 4th group - 6 persons with severe OHS). Among the typed groups comparison on following risk factors is executed: age, an index of weight of a body, FSH level, quantity of antral follicles before the beginning of the ovarian stimulation, received number of oocytes by transvaginal aspiration and a total dose of a superovulation stimulator. Department of obstetrics and gynecology of USMU: history of scientific research, practical and educational activities
The introduction of modern achievements of medical science and practice requires the availability of highly qualified personnel. The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology was established at the Sverdlovsk State Medical Institute (SSMI) in 1933. The scientific school "Obstetrics, Gynecology, Reproductology", created by Professor I. I. Benediktov, continues to live and actively develop. Students and residents studying at the department are involved in scientific research, being engaged in the Scientific Society of Young Scientists and Students. The department implements several educational programs of specialization, residency and postgraduate studies, and has developed innovative postgraduate courses. The teaching staff closely cooperates with the practical health authorities in organizational, methodological, and medical advisory work. Epidemiological features of the incidence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia in the modern megapolis
Background. Information on the incidence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) is relevant for planning and evaluating the effectiveness of medical care at the stage of secondary prevention of cervical cancer. Aim. To analyze the incidence of CIN and benign diseases of the cervix: erosion and ectropion, leukoplakia, polyp, according to medical organizations in Yekaterinburg in 2013-2019. Materials and methods. A descriptive epidemiological study of the incidence of cervical pathology in the population of women in Yekaterinburg in 2013-2019 was conducted. The forms of Federal Statistical Observation No. 12 βInformation on the number of diseases registered in patients living in the service area of a medical organizationβ, in terms of erosion and ectropion, and data from the city's women's consultations on the number of cases of CIN, leukoplakia and cervical polyp were examined. Information on the number of female population of the city from Sverdlovskstat was used. Results. The primary incidence of CIN increased throughout the follow-up period. The indicator increased by 1.7 times compared to 2013 (p 0.05) in 2013-2019. The increase in the overall incidence of CIN was registered from 2014 to 2019 in comparison with 2013 (p <0.001). The indicator of the overall incidence of CIN in 2019 was 2.1 times higher than in 2013 (p <0.001). Conclusions. The growth of primary and total incidence of CIN in the population of Yekaterinburg women noted since the beginning of the XXI century continued in 2013-2019. The primary incidence rate of CIN had the maximum value in 2019. The increase in the incidence of CIN is associated with the natural spread of the disease, accessibility and improvement in the quality of medical care. Dynamics of the incidence of benign breast disease at the regional level
Background. The analysis of the incidence of benign breast disease (BBD) allows you to control the prevalence of the disease in the population and plan medical care. Aim. To study the incidence and prevalence of BBD on the example of the Sverdlovsk region in 2012β2021 and Yekaterinburg in 2012β2020. Materials and methods. An observational epidemiological retrospective study of the incidence of BBD in women aged 18 years and more was conducted. To calculate the indicators, we used the form of Federal statistical observation No. 12 for Yekaterinburg and recommendations by the Federal State Statistics Service, Russian Research Institute of Health. We analyzed the indicators of the incidence of BBD in the Sverdlovsk region, published on the websites of the Ministry of Health of Russia and the Russian Research Institute of Health. Information on the number of women examined for oncopathology was obtained from Form No. 30 βInformation about a medical organizationβ in 2016β2020. Results. The incidence of BBD in the Sverdlovsk region increased in 2013β2019 and Yekaterinburg 2015β2019 compared to 2012 (p <0.001). During the pre-pandemic period, the average growth rate of the indicator was 5.20 % in the region, 7.60 % in the city. The incidence of BBD in the city annually exceeded the regional indicator in 2012β2019 (p <0.028). The prevalence of BBD followed the trends of the incidence (p <0.001). The average growth rate of the total incidence in the region was 7.55 %, in the city β 9.57 %. A decrease in incidence rates in the region and the city in 2020 compared to 2019 was incidence (p <0.001). A positive correlation was established between the number of cases of newly diagnosed ΠΠD and the number of women examined for oncopathology in the region (r = 0.924 at p = 0.025) and the city (r = 0.900 at p = 0.037). Conclusion. The incidence and prevalence of BBD in the female population of the region and the city significantly increased in the pre-pandemic period.
