К типологии открытых вопросов

В массовых опросах открытый вопрос является единственным инструментом сбора данных, позволяющим респонденту выразить свое мнение собственными словами. В этом его достоинство, особенно проявляющееся в условиях быстрых социальных изменений, за которыми не поспевают структурированные опросники. Главный недостаток от крытого вопроса логически продолжает достоинство: для исследователя — невозможность при кодировании одновременно добиться надежности и простоты обработки без существенных потерь информации, для респондента — иногда непосильные затраты на самостоятельное формулирование ответа. Цель статьи — наметить принципы классификации открытых вопросов, которая открывает возможности разработать алгоритм кодирования для каждого класса. В статье (1) рассмотрено, что сообщает вопросу открытость и закрытость, (2) дано обоснование трактовке, согласно которой шкала «открытость / закрытость» вопроса представляет собой не дихотомию, а континуум, (3) предложены общие принципы классификации ответов на открытые вопросы

Проблема становления гражданского общества в России

The article is devoted to the question of creation of civil society in the democratizing Russia after the demise of the Soviet Union. The author argues that the shrinking powers of the state and increasing degree of diversity of society requires transfer of functions of political governance to the structures of civil society. But the decision on the applicability of Western liberal democratic model of civil society for a multinational and multiconfessional Russia and the participation of government in this process demands much attention.Статья посвящена вопросу создания гражданского общества в условиях демократизации России после распада СССР. По мнению автора, в условиях сокращения полномочий государства и увеличения степени разнообразия необходима передача части функций политико-государственного управления структурам гражданского общества. Однако большую сложность представляет решение вопросов о границах применимости западной либерально-демократической модели гражданского общества для многонациональной и поликонфессиональной России и об участии государства в этом процессе

Зазначено, що їх підвищена віктимність визначається соціально-психологічним статусом, де визначальною детермінантою схильності до віктимної поведінки є місце підлітка в соціумі, зокрема у сім’ї. Викривлення процесу соціалізації призводить до різних порушень соціального та особистісного розвитку, крайнім варіантом якого у підлітковому віці є саме виктимність.The features of minor’s victimization are considered in the article. It is stated that their increased victimization determined by social and psychological status, the basic determinant of the propensity to victim behavior is a place of teenager in society, particularly in the family. Distortion of the socialization process leads to various violations of social and personal development, the worst variant of it in adolescence is exactly victimity.Рассмотрены особенности виктимности несовершеннолетних. Указано, что их повышенная виктимность определяется социально-психологическим статусом, где определяющей детерминантой склонности к виктимному поведению есть место подростка в социуме, в частности в семье. Искажение процесса социализации приводит к различным нарушениям социального и личностного развития, крайним вариантом которого в подростковом возрасте является именно виктимность

What questions are answered while an open-ended question is asked?

Based on the data of a national survey (Russia), there’s represented a syntactic and semantic procedure to reconstruct a repertoire of the questions, which are matched to the fixed respondents’ answers (which presumably were actually answered), and to diagnose communicative adequacy of the question as it was designed for the survey. Qualitative perspective on quantitative survey communication, it is shown, is extremely useful to grasp crucial differences between the speeches by respondents and pollsters
