(The World society is undergoing rapid social and economic development. Under the conditions of constant changes people need to get new high quality knowledge and practical training to develop their personal qualities and professional skills. In this respect educational system has to be constantly improved and reply to the challenges of contemporary society.
For decades, English has been used as the language of international professional life in all spheres; however, only recently it has become the most widespread instructional language in higher education. The rapid implementation of Сontent and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) classrooms across Europe responds to academies’ and universities’ pressing need
to attract international students, promote teacher-student exchanges and ultimately adapt higher education institutions to the new demands of the job market. In the specific case of Ukraine, academies are gradually incorporating English as the vehicular language mainly in postgraduate programs as well as in some bilingual degrees(PSACEA experience) in an attempt
to face the challenges of today’s rapidly changing globalized world. English language instructors have been faced the challenge to develop new advanced methods of teaching English introducing interactive technologies and high technologies in the professional activities of the higher school teaching staff.
Interactive technologies of teaching are being considered in the article regarding their role in teaching the discipline «English for special purposes». The aim of the article is to make brief review of major tendencies in new technologies development in the field of foreign languages methods of teaching and their application in higher school students’ training when foreign language is used by the trainees as an instrument of their professional skills development and further professional
studies or scientific investigations.
Танцевальная терапия как метод реабилитации при ревматических заболеваниях
A dance is considered from the perspective of art therapy, psychotherapy and kinesiotherapy as a component of therapeutic exercises. Previous experience with dance therapy in various rheumatic diseases is presented, and a theoretical rationale for adapting new dance styles for the purposes of complex non-drug treatment of rheumatologic patients is provided.
THE EXPERIENCE OF USE OF SKIN TEST WITH TUBERCULAR RECOMBINANT ALLERGEN IN CHILDREN IN THE VORONEZH REGION
The comparative analysis of results of Diaskintest (DT) and PPD-test with 2 TE PPD-L in three groups was executed: the 1st included 56 children with newly diagnosed tuberculosis; the 2nd included 34 299 children in the risk groups observed by phthisiatricians, vaccinated and tested by PPD and DT; in the 3rd group there were 8 666 children evaluated in the general health care facilities with the simultaneous use of PPD and DT (screening). It was identified that at all stages of TB diagnostics and treatment among children DT indicates the activity of tubercular infection significantly better than PPD and is one of main clinical indicators which allows to evaluate correctly the chemotherapy regimen and effectiveness of treatment. The use of DT allowed to simplify selection of children in the risk groups for performance of more detailed evaluation and to increase the TB detection rate, especially of minor forms. The introduction of DT reduced the indications for preventive chemotherapy in the follow-up groups: up to 21% in group VI-A, 56,4% in group VI-B and 32,9% in group VI
INVESTIGATION OF THE METAL MELTING PROCESS
The nonlinear mathematical model of calculation of temperature fields in the process of metal melting is formulated and solved using the method of equivalent source taking into account nonlinearity of thermophysical properties of material and variable terms of heat exchange
ANALYSIS OF THERMAL CONDUCTION AT MELTING OF METAL BRICKS IN LIQUID BATH. MESSAGE 2. MODELING AND CALCULATION OF PROCESS OF THE ALLOYED STEEL BRICKS MELTING IN MODEM MELTING AGGREGATES
The methods of calculation of duration of the metallic bricks heating and melting in liquid bath, taking into account variability of thermal-physical characteristics of metal due to temperature, is developed
Increased work capacity of muscle on stimulation through the nerve and the causes of this phenomenon
Safety and Immunogenicity of Inactivated Whole Virion COVID-19 Vaccine CoviVac in Clinical Trials in 18–60 and 60+ Age Cohorts
We present the results of a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, multi-center clinical trial phase I/II of the tolerability, safety, and immunogenicity of the inactivated whole virion concentrated purified coronavirus vaccine CoviVac in volunteers aged 18–60 and open multi-center comparative phase IIb clinical trial in volunteers aged 60 years and older. The safety of the vaccine was assessed in 400 volunteers in the 18–60 age cohort who received two doses of the vaccine (n = 300) or placebo (n = 100) and in 200 volunteers in 60+ age cohort all of whom received three doses of the vaccine. The studied vaccine has shown good tolerability and safety. No deaths, serious adverse events (AEs), or other significant AEs related to vaccination have been detected. The most common AE in vaccinated participants was pain at the injection site (p p 1:256, the rate of fourfold increase in nAB levels was below 45%; the participants who were seropositive at screening of the 2nd vaccination did not lead to a significant increase in nAB titers. In conclusion, inactivated vaccine CoviVac has shown good tolerability and safety, with over 85% NT seroconversion rates after complete vaccination course in participants who were seronegative at screening in both age groups: 18–60 and 60+. In participants who were seropositive at screening and had nAB titers below 1:256, a single vaccination led to a fourfold increase in nAB levels in 85.2% of cases. These findings indicate that CoviVac can be successfully used both for primary vaccination in a two-dose regimen and for booster vaccination as a single dose in individuals with reduced neutralizing antibody levels
