The article presents an overview of modern theoretical and practical approaches to the study of dissatisfaction with work and demotivation of staff, taking into account the increase in social pollution caused by the pandemic in unstable socio-economic conditions. Factors of dissatisfaction with the work of personnel and demotivation are differentiated, and it is shown that dissatisfaction can be associated with both a high level of motivation and demotivation. The interdependence of the factors of dissatisfaction with labor and demotivation is highlighted, which consists in the fact that the features of social pollution cause a stable state of dissatisfaction with labor and lead to psychological disadvantage, the development of the process of conscious demotivation by the employee, the loss of cooperation with colleagues and the tendency to change jobs. It has been established that the consequence of the pandemic, as well as the untimely or destructive actions of managers, is a sharp increase in the dissatisfaction of workers in various fields of activity with basic factors: pay and demand for the potential of the employee. The identification of similarities and differences in the factors of dissatisfaction with labor of employees of the general secondary education system, hotel business and management bodies of public associations of university students allowed the authors to attribute similar basic factors of dissatisfaction with labor to general factors of social pollution in pandemic conditions, and differences in factors of dissatisfaction with labor to destructive actions of the head, specifics of the sphere of activity, age characteristics of staff. At the same time, the analysis of the results of the study allowed the authors to conclude that dissatisfaction with labor, supported by cumulative factors of social pollution, can lead to a loss of the employee’s interest in the organization, a decrease in quality, labor performance and, as a result, a decrease in the quality of service for the consumer, especially in the studied areas of education, hotel business, public organizations and associations. Questionnaire, correlation analysis, content analysis, comparative data analysis was used as methods of investigation and analysis of the obtained results. The systematization and synthesis of the results of the comparative analysis of dissatisfaction with factors in various areas of work allowed the authors to identify technologies for preventing demotivation of labor that should be mastered by managers in conditions of socio-economic instability, and to develop recommendations for their application at the micro and macro levels in order to preserve personnel

Tax Incentives for use of Alternative Energy Sources in the Russian Federation

    Get PDF
Increasingly widespread use of alternative energy sources solves a number of urgent state problems, such as reduction of environmental pollution, diversification of energy resources, and weakening the dependence of the budget on oil revenues. The present article considers the role of taxes in the economic motivation of production and the use of alternative energy sources, as well as analyzes world practices of tax regulation in consumption of energy from renewable natural resources. In the course of the study, methods of collecting and processing secondary information were used, namely, grouping, generalization, classification, systematization, and modeling. In order to optimize the use of the proposed tax instruments, the latter are grouped according to the category of taxpayers. Thermodynamic Model of Ion-Exchange Process as Exemplified by Cerium Sorption from Multisalt Solutions

    Get PDF
A complex heterogeneous process of ion exchange can be defined with an isotherm-isobar equation of the chemical reaction, which describes differential affinity between the process and its effect – the law of mass action. Ion exchange includes processes accompanied by changes in the charge of ions and functional groups caused by the passing of ionic bond into covalent one. Hence isotherm equations of ion exchange for such processes must differ from conventional stoichiometric equations, but they can be obtained by classical study approaches to ion exchange equilibrium. The paper describes a new thermodynamic model, based on linearization of mass action law, modified for the ion exchange equation. The application of this model allows to define stoichiometry of ion exchange and the shape of ions adsorbed by the solid phase of ion-exchange resins, as well as to estimate equilibrium constant and Gibbs free energy of the process. Comparative analysis has been carried out for the thermodynamic model of cerium sorption in the form of anionic complex with Trilon B from a multisalt solution with ionic strength of 1 mol/kg (NaNO3) under рН = 3 and temperature 298 K on a test sample of weak-base anion-exchange resin Cybber EV009. Experimental isotherm of the sorption has been obtained. Calculations of thermodynamic parameters have been performed using Langmuir, Freundlich, Dubinin – Radushkevich, Temkin and Flory – Huggins models, as well as thermodynamic model of linearized mass action law, proposed by the authors. Calculated values of the equilibrium constant and Gibbs energy – K = 9.0±0.5 and ΔrG0298 = –5.54±0.27 kJ/mol – characterize the sorption of EDTA cerate ions by ion-exchange resin. The shape of adsorbed ions has been defined in Stern-Helmholtz layer of CeTr, and total capacity of anion resin EV009 for EDTA cerate ions has been estimated as q∞ = 2.0±0.1 mol/kg

Phytopathogenicity of avian mycoplasma Mycoplasma gallisepticum S6: Morphologic and ultracytostructural changes in plants infected with the vegetative forms and the viable but nonculturable forms of the bacterium

    Get PDF
The data obtained in this study proved that Mycoplasma gallisepticum S6 known as avian pathogen had a phytopathogenic potential. The vegetative forms and the viable but nonculturable (VBNC) forms of this mycoplasma could infect the plants via an assemblage of rootlets, invade different tissues, persist there and cause destructive events characteristic to phytomycoplasmoses. In comparison with the vegetative forms, the VBNC forms induced more prominent destructive changes. This phenomenon might be connected to increasing expression of proteins responsible for virulence in the bacterial cells. The fact that M. gallisepticum S6 could demonstrate virulent features (infectivity, invasiveness, persistence and toxigenicity) in regard to plants seems to require a development of new ways for controlling phytomycoplasmoses taking into account the probable presence of asymptomatic carriers of this bacterium. © 2009 Elsevier GmbH

© 2018, Pleiades Publishing, Inc. This is the first study to show that polyamine spermine, a low-molecular-weight nitrogen-containing compound, can induce autophagy in plants. This process is accompanied by an increased generation of reactive oxygen species and nitric oxide, which play a signal role and are required for triggering autophagy

Sensitivity Optimization and Experimental Study of the Long-Range Metal Detector Based on Chaotic Duffing Oscillator

Sensors based on chaotic oscillators have a simple design, combined with high sensitivity and energy efficiency. Among many developed schemes of such sensors, the promising one is based on the Duffing oscillator, which possesses a remarkable property of demonstrating chaotic oscillations only in the presence of a weak sine wave at the input. The main goal of this research was to evaluate the maximal sensitivity of a practically implemented metal detector based on the Duffing oscillator and compare its sensitivity with conventional sensors. To achieve high efficiency of the Duffing-based design, we proposed an algorithm which performs a bifurcation analysis of any chaotic system, classifies the oscillation modes and determines the system sensitivity to a change in different parameters. We apply the developed algorithm to improve the sensitivity of the electronic circuit implementing the Duffing oscillator, serving as a key part of a three-coil metal detector. We show that the developed design allows detecting the presence of metal objects near the coils more reliably than the conventional signal analysis techniques, and the developed detector is capable of sensing a large metal plate at distances up to 2.8 of the coil diameter, which can be considered a state-of-the-art result. © 2022 by the authors
