Environmental tax reform in the Czech Republic
About the Czech environmental tax reform, it can be said that its concept is not very well known even to its principal stakeholders. The reason is the little promotion: the absence of explanatory campaigns.
The support to dealing only with existing local environmental problems and the opposition to introducing an environmental tax reform aimed at combating climate change connected with consistent revenue recycling points at a certain short-sightedness, cause probably largely by the lack of awareness of the risks as well as advantages of the environmental tax reform approach where the revenues are fully recycled. It is here that foreign experience in terms of evaluating the environmental tax reform impacts on economies and environment may play a key role in the promotion and implementation of the Czech environmental tax reform.
And also, further increases of the CO2 tax rates in the Czech Republic should be preceded by a quantification of its impacts on the Czech economy using e.g. CGE or the E3ME model, or other techniques.

Extension of the Schiff theorem to ions and molecules
According to the Schiff theorem the nuclear electric dipole moment (EDM) is
screened in neutral atoms. In ions this screening is incomplete. We extend a
derivation of the Schiff theorem to ions and molecules. The finite nuclear size
effects are considered including Z^2 alpha^2 corrections to the nuclear Schiff
moment which are significant in all atoms and molecules of experimental
interest. We show that in majority of ionized atoms the nuclear EDM
contribution to the atomic EDM dominates while in molecules the contribution of
the Schiff moment dominates. We also consider the screening of electron EDM in
ions
Temperature-dependent Raman scattering of DyScO3 and GdScO3 single crystals
We report a temperature-dependent Raman scattering investigation of DyScO3
and GdScO3 single crystals from room temperature up to 1200 {\deg}C. With
increasing temperature, all modes decrease monotonously in wavenumber without
anomaly, which attests the absence of a structural phase transition. The high
temperature spectral signature and extrapolation of band positions to higher
temperatures suggest a decreasing orthorhombic distortion towards the ideal
cubic structure. Our study indicates that this orthorhombic-to-cubic phase
transition is close to or higher than the melting point of both rare-earth
scandates (\approx 2100 {\deg}C), which might exclude the possibility of the
experimental observation of such a phase transition before melting. The
temperature-dependent shift of Raman phonons is also discussed in the context
of thermal expansion

Article published in 1925, in which the author pursues the definition of the field of geography as a scientific discipline with an organized body of knowledge, whose task is to establish a critical system which should include the phenomenology of the landscape, in order to apprehend in all its meaning and color the variety of the terrestrial scene, in the purpose of organizing the field of geography as a positive science
