PROCESSING OF TRIGLYCERIDES TO DIESEL RANGE HYDROCARBON FUELS: EASILY PRACTICABLE SMALL SCALE APPROACH
Lipid fraction of biomass has been identified as carbon neutral substitution to fuels from fossil sources in the transportation sector. Although, the diesel engine, invented
by Rudolph Diesel over a century ago first ran on peanut oil, the current combustion engines are designed to run on hydrocarbon fuels derived from petroleum.
Therefore, a substitute for diesel fuel from renewable source will need to have identical or closely similar properties. The most popular of the existing technology
for processing vegetable or animal oils is based on the conversion of the triglycerides constituents to fatty acids methyl esters (FAME). FAME technology does not produce diesel fuel with identical properties as petro-diesel. Other
alternative processing routes are dilution of the vegetable oils, emulsification, pyrolysis and hydrotreating. These routes are discussed in this paper. Appropriate technologies for small scale production of diesel range hydrocarbon fuel from vegetable oil without the need for co-reactants such methanol or hydrogen as part of
the feedstock is emphased. Also alternative catalyst systems in place of the expensive precious metal supported catalysts are suggested

In the below article, the application of the fuzzy logical conclusion method is considered as decision-maker in the process of analyzing the students skills and abilities based on the requirements of potential employers, in order to reduce the time of the first interview for potential candidates on a vacant position. When analyzing the results of the assessment of the competence of university students, a certain degree of fuzziness arises. In modern practice, fuzzy logic is used in many different assessment methods, including questioning, interviewing, testing, descriptive method, classification method, pairwise comparison, rating method, business games competence models, and the like. Each of the methods has its advantages and disadvantages, but they are effective only as part of a unified personnel management system. As a method for implementing a systematic approach to the assessment of the contingent of students, it is proposed to use fuzzy logic, a mathematical apparatus that allows you to build a model of an object based on fuzzy judgments. The use of fuzzy logic, the mathematical apparatus of which allows you to build a model of the object, based on fuzzy reasoning and rules. The most important condition for creating such a model is to translate the fuzzy, qualitative assessments used by man into the language of mathematics, which will be understood by the computer. The most used are fuzzy inferences using the Mamdani and Sugeno methods. In a fuzzy inference of the Mamdani type, the value of the output variable is given by fuzzy terms, in the conclusion of the Sugeno type, as a linear combination of the input variables. Research in the field of application of fuzzy logic in socio-economic systems suggests that it can be used to assess the competencies of university students.Π Π΄Π°Π½Π½ΠΎΠΉ ΡΠ°Π±ΠΎΡΠ΅ ΡΠ°ΡΡΠΌΠΎΡΡΠ΅Π½ΠΎ ΠΈΡΠΏΠΎΠ»ΡΠ·ΠΎΠ²Π°Π½ΠΈΠ΅ ΠΌΠ΅ΡΠΎΠ΄Π° Π½Π΅ΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΎΠ³ΠΎ Π»ΠΎΠ³ΠΈΡΠ΅ΡΠΊΠΎΠ³ΠΎ Π²ΡΠ²ΠΎΠ΄Π° Π΄Π»Ρ ΠΏΠΎΠ΄Π΄Π΅ΡΠΆΠΊΠΈ ΠΏΡΠΈΠ½ΡΡΠΈΡ ΡΠ΅ΡΠ΅Π½ΠΈΡ Π² Π·Π°Π΄Π°ΡΠ°Ρ

Application of βpiercing the corporate veilβ doctrine in the Ukrainian law
Purpose: In the article, authors develop a structure of applying the gaps of corporate law and the possibility of restricting all possible structures of the legal field in Ukraine. The functioning of corporate law is always exercised according to the principle of the companyβs greatest possible involvement in the employeeβs everyday life. There is always differentiation emerging, which determines to what extent the existence of corporate spirit and ethics are needed within the society. Design/Methodology/Approach: The method of comparative law was used as the subject of the study, which enabled us to compare the customary rules of law with specific corporate law rules. Additionally, it is appropriate to apply the historical method, which fully reflects that the article elaborates the historical aspect of the development of the studied phenomenon as well as the formation of the holistic component. Findings: The article implements the aspects of managing the legal regulation of corporate law on the basis of modernizing separate provisions of the legal area of a social environment. Practical Implications: The perspectives of applying the corporate law provisions in the stateβs economic development can be defined as the conclusions of the study. Originality/Value: The authors clearly demonstrate the obligation to implement the provision that stipulates that the corporate law, in case its principles are violated, has still to be oriented at understanding the specificity of its application in commercial institutions.peer-reviewe
Homogeneous geodesics of non-unimodular Lorentzian Lie groups and naturally reductive Lorentzian spaces in dimension three
We determine, for all three-dimensional non-unimodular Lie groups equipped
with a Lorentzian metric, the set of homogeneous geodesics through a point.
Together with the results of [C] and [CM2], this leads to the full
classification of three-dimensional Lorentzian g.o. spaces and naturally
reductive spaces
Electromagnetic modulation of monochromatic neutrino beams
A possibility to produce a modulated monochromatic neutrino beam is
discussed. Monochromatic neutrinos can be obtained in electron capture by
nuclei of atoms or ions, in particular, by nuclei of hydrogen-like ions. It is
shown that monochromatic neutrino beam from such hydrogen-like ions with nuclei
of non-zero spin can be modulated because of different probabilities of
electron capture from hyperfine states. Modulation arises by means of inducing
of electromagnetic transitions between the hyperfine states. Requirements for
the hydrogen-like ions with necessary properties are discussed. A list of the
appropriate nuclei for such ions is presented.Comment: 11 pages, 1 figure, minor corrections to match the final published

Proton-Deuteron Elastic Scattering from 2.5 to 22.5 MeV
We present the results of a calculation of differential cross sections and
polarization observables for proton-deuteron elastic scattering, for proton
laboratory energies from 2.5 to 22.5 MeV. The Paris potential parametrisation
of the nuclear force is used. As solution method for the charged-composite
particle equations the 'screening and renormalisation approach' is adopted
which allows to correctly take into account the Coulomb repulsion between the
two protons. Comparison is made with the precise experimental data of Sagara et
al. [Phys. Rev. C 50, 576 (1994)] and of Sperison et al. [Nucl. Phys. A422, 81
(1984)].Comment: 24 pages, 8 eps figures, uses REVTe
