Писательница вступает в диалог с традицией Барри: текст пьесы изобилует как аллюзиями, так и прямыми цитатами. Автор выводит на первый план второстепенных героев произведения Барри. Вслед за Барри Климовски актуализирует мотив полета и мотив невзрослеющего человека, у Климовски трансформировавшегося в мотив инфантилизма, ведущего к разрушению семьи.The article is devoted to the study of Peter Pan by J. Barry as a pretext of My dad is Peter Pan by the modern playwright K. Klimovsky. Klimovsky has a dialogue with the Barry tradition: the text of the play is replete with both allusions and direct quotations. The author brings secondary characters to the fore and introduces everyday details for the development of images. Following Barry, Klimovsky introduces the motive of flight and the motive of an immature person, which Klimovsky transformed into the motive of infantilism, the motive of the destruction of the family
