Compensation of Digital Competence Deficiency with Software Ergonomic Tools

In the contemporary digital world, a lot of information needs to be processed every day. Our security depends on the quick and accurate processing of this information. Figure-based information processing is faster and simpler than the text-based one. The level of IT skills and skills may be lower in this way, so a system that is applicable to a broader social circle is needed. The solution would be to make the use of info-communication tools accessible to people with low vision, those with learning difficulties, non-speakers, the elderly and children who are unable to read because of their age. In this article, the author attempts to illustrate the difference in the processing of visual and textual information through a simple survey and make recommendations for the ergonomic compensation of digital competence gaps with software

A mai társadalmi berendezkedésünk része a digitalizáció. A technológia rohamos fejlődése és annak az élet minden területét behálózó mivolta elengedhetetlenné teszi a lakosság digitális ismereteinek fejlesztését. Azonban, hogy a digitális ismeretek milyen szintűek, csak egy egységes mérési rendszer által beazonosítóak. Kutatásaim rámutattak arra, hogy jelenleg nincs a magyar össztársadalmi viszonyokra igazított és kidolgozott értékelési rendszer. Ezt a hiánypótlást kívánom megalkotni a következőkben. Az Európai Unió Digitális Kompetencia Keretrendszerének és a digitális intelligencia definícióinak felhasználásával, amelyet az alábbiakban mutatok be. Digitalisation is part of our society structure. Development of the population digital knowledge is necessary because of the rapid technology innovation and its global presence. The digital competence level is identifiable by a standard evaluation system. On base of my researches I observed that nowadays doesn’t found an evaluation system for the Hungarian global society. I’m working in my thesis on the supplement for this lack. I introduce it base on the European Union Digital Competence System and the digital intelligence definitions

According to the European Union’s expectations, the Hungarian government set its goal to raise the digital competence level of the population as its importance can no longer be questioned. The opportunity to increase the users’ level of digital competency, and the examination of the results achieved will make the training more effective. Digital knowledge must be increased so as to make digital goods equally accessible to everyone. Most of the workplaces and professions require a certain level of digital literacy, that is both employees and the companies need to know what level of digital skills are and will be required across the workforce

Prevention of Ransomware Attacks by Increasing Security Awareness

There is a strong relationship between groups of users who don’t use anti-virus and those who don’t backup their data, meaning that a similar proportion of users don't use either of these two means of protection. In case of users who lack knowledge in informatics there is an increase in the number of virus attacks; these users are more likely to not use anti-virus and neglect to back up their data. For digital systems, users who are – based on our classification – in a lower rank, represent increased risk based on the number of the occurred virus attacks. For every user group there is a need for continuous and repeated safety awareness training to reach and retain a high safety level

Increasing Tool Steel Surface Wear Resistance by Surface Treatment

The industry is imposing increasing wear and tear requirements on tools, which can no longer be satisfied with the development of base materials (tool steels). Surface treatment technologies can provide a solution as the surface of the working tool must be suitable. It can determine a relationship between the hardness, surface roughness and the abrasion resistance of various surface treatments and the coating technologies such as PVD as a result of tool steel surface layers. These relationships form the basis for tool selection and provide a theoretical basis for the design of surface technologies
